My Galaxy W fell into water..
There was water inside the LCD Panel.
I had dried the phone under the sun, blow dry, etc..but when I connect the battery, the LED flash turn on and only off after pressing power button.
It was a very fast device for what I use and paid it for, especially with JellyBean and the custom kernels here.
Now need to find new phone...sigh..
To guarantee no more misfortune, purchase the galaxy s4 active or xperia z.

Sorry for your SGW going down the hills. You still can try to disassemble your device to see if there is still water somwhere inside it. Maybe you can bring it to life this way. But if nothing helps I would go for the S III mini. Has about the same smart size but with more horsepower and costs now about the same like I paid for the SGW.

With all seriousness I love my nexus. I switched from the amaze just because of everyone saying this is a better experience and they are right. I thought I would miss sense but I am finding the advantages of 4.0 and the Samsung hardware to over shadow my love for sense. But yeah... overall I am very happy with my purchase!

Okay so the ROM boots. What's really interesting is how screwed up the touch screen is - basically it thinks the entire touchscreen is a trackpad. But the fact that it's booting after a total time working on it of half an hour, I'd say pretty good so far.
I'm taking a logcat now, and I'll work on it more tomorrow.

We used to have brilliant dev in htc old gene device,we had Android run on it, though some drivers was missing,but gene has small ram.A Russian did a workaround, he had disable the camera driver on boot,rather calling it when required, saving ram.So i think we can do it.

if we got ics we won't find the speed that we r getting on GB. it will lags much cause we don't have much ram.
but wait untill broadcom relase there driver for sgy...
guys our galaxy y is powerful enough to run jellybean 4.1.1 but samsung has locked everything
i.e, All ARM11 Prosessors graved on
[65 nm digital CMOS process] can
really support 1Ghz &+
and the videocore 4 gpu can handle video playback upto 1080p and is extermely powerful
so we should force samsung to release the jellybean for galaxy y

colours are swapped etc.........
