HOW TO INSTALL
Download the ROM
*Not need this step for while Download NxTGen Fix
Enter in Recovery Mode
Preferably give a full wipe (Factory Reset and inside Mounts and Storage choose Format /System)
In Main Screen, choose "install zip from..." and you need select the ROM .zip format
Optionally install the NxTGen ROM you favorites Apps
Restart the phone.
*If your phone freeze or keep restarting, install the NxTGen ROM Fix, this will remove all undervolt and you are 100% safe.

the old file has old tw launcher and I have included the new one...and going forward I am going to maintain it....
few users have mentioned that they faced some issue...so I am starting from ground and testing it so no more issue....
I would suggest to flash this on your rom not after flashing the old addon....

I just put manually touchwiz launcher files and taskmanager on Pawitp's 4.2 preview but anyway Ugoms just confirmed above that all went fine for him.
It's just that the task manager is the one that gives FC when you touch menu button.. you know the story
after installing on 4.2 20121125 + gapps from pawitp stuck at android logo. so doesn 't work for me.

I guess it's due to /system that is full like on the ancient thread but this time it's not that the zip is that big,it's due to little system space left on 4.2 preview +gapps.
Try to remove some stuffs from your system before you flash the mod (system/vendor/pittpatt folder only serves for faceunlock and is usually big,you may not need it..)
And if you put tw launcher in your system/app you'll also need his lib (XTRAS/system/lib in the zip that goes to /system/lib on your device,perms 644 rw-r--r-- as usual and it should work).

Download the Tomcat Rom and copy on external SD
Try to avoid old rom backups to be as clean as possible
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Download Tomcat V2 Rom
Copy on External SD
Boot in recovery
Backup Your Old Rom
Recommended Recovery: PhilZ Touch
In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom
Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
Follow Aroma’s Installer instructions
Reboot and Enjoy

Nice job!
Awesome rom kris this blows me away of how much work you put in to this. Can you maybe theme a lot more apps later on as this rom develops because I love all my stock samsung apps themed! You don't have to but it would make me like your rom more!
Also, even though i selected english in aroma it's still french in aroma installer!

Have downloaded the rom yesterday installed kt kernel and got an lovely duration of battery and verry smooth rom, for me it would be more handy with the instalment that the englisch was better translated. But for so far so good. I like the Silver BTW not for al the icons but for a few.

How about this?
How about you theme up the Samsung music player and the latest playstore? This would help me love your rom more. But only do it if you want to I would never demand or force someone into doing it.

Hy my dear friends. I think a lot of people already know me here on the galaxy s4 thread I am the developer of the Hulk-Kernel and if you don't know me yet, you may want to have a look there too. I also develop for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S (IronRom and IronKernel) and since a week for the Galaxy S5 Plus (NovaRom). I really like developing and this kind of stuff, so here I am presenting you my new self build rom (touchwiz based). Full packed with great features!
By the way, it is called EOL (End of life) because I got this new phone mentioned above and I not do much here (updates etc.)

How to install the rom:
1. Download a custom recovery, TWRP or CWM/Philz
2. Download the rom and put it on your phone
3. Lollipop bootloader and modem is a MUST. I even want you to update your current to the latest one, the bootloader is and the new modem can be downloaded here!
4. Boot into download mode, put the bootloader in BL tab and the modem in CP tab. Hit start and wait until your phone reboots (latest Odin is attached here)
5. Backup all your things to your external SD card
6. Reboot to recovery
7. Install the rom
8. Select IN AROMA what kind of an install you like to do: dirty flash, clean install or full wipe
9. Reboot and wait for 10 minutes or so

Good morning, first thanks to the rom... is very good know that we have a hope in our S4 yet. I have a question.. to stock kernel work, is necessary the same bl and modem? And.. superSu and root works properly with it? I ask you 'cause in other rom (goldeneye), with stock kernel apps that need root only work if "root mode" in SU apps was setted "alows', of mode is "ask", popup do not appear and that apps do not work. Sorry for my english

If you would read in the OP it said a bug is the S6 gallery will not show the thumbnails but he will try and fix.

You'll need compatible Lollipop modem and boot loader for stock kernel to work without issues.

I have flashed this ROM and still wait for play store apps to download and since it's very slow process (still 66 out of 137 for 3 hours) and I don't want to waste more time I'd like to ask something I saw during setup. I selected the Hulk kernel and saw an info that apps will optimize at each reboot (that takes 2-3 hours on my phone) will this happen always? and if I understood correctly, I have to uninstall stweaks to avoid this or just disable some feature in there? if that's the case I'd like to know so that I uninstall it before I restart as I don't want to lose another couple of hours.

Clicking pause and play a few times seems to fix the problem though...

please all of this is a big no, no need for cyano crap, no more bloat, keep it simple and slim, anyone can download apps from the playstore, i know being root you can uninstall system apps, but it is annoying.

keep stock launcher or GNL, keep stock gallery or no gallery, just update the most basic gapps like camera, contacts, calendar, dialer, clock, etc

Apart from replacing stock/GNL with Nova, I agree with you. Nova is the best thing ever (even more if you paid for Prime).
a question can change the kernel for example which comes from stock??

I will do this ! For now you can do this with the Xposed module "Gravitybox".
For the dark theme what do you want ? SystemUI and Settings with black background ?

it is very easy to install apps from play store, and use xposed + gravity to customize
i would release this rom with the bare minimum gapps
-stock kernel, i need the 5.1 kernel to avoid RR, but it is super easy to flash apart, this way people with no RR can be happy
-no more crap, allow users to install their apps
-super slim, to save time uninstalling system apps like almost all annoying bloated gapps
-root, yes
that would be all
if i knew how, i would do it, but i have no idea, maybe you could teach me to delete apps from the rom, system image

No. Since this is a Google Play Edition ROM, I think it makes no sense that it wouldn't come with gapps, right? Don't know about F2FS, though.

There is one thing that I don't know if its a bug or not: when installing any app from an APK, it always asks where to install (let the phone decide, internal memory, external memory). Can you make it "permanent"? Like select once and then it doesn't show up again.
