The xperia play files are deodexed, the nexus one ones are odexed hence the .odex files. If you push a odexed app to your play it would probably cause a dexopt crash on boot

Hey I just wanna ask you something if you don't care. I just wondering, is it work if I grab the framework from R800x and put it into my R800i? cause I want the lockscreen so much. like the nexus s lockscreen. or is there any way that I can get the lockscreen kinda nexus s had?
sorry for my bad english.
No the framework won't work, you will end up with a bootloop!
Have you tried widget locker or go locker? They are both great locksceen replacements with quite a low memory footprint

You can edit your SystemUI.apk to look like ICS and also you should search complete ics look here on XDA for some more features.

You pull your SystemUI.apk from the device and then decompile it with apk tool. After youve done that replace the .png files in the res folder with the ICS ones or the ones you like and then recompile the apk and push it back. You will need root to do this and enabled USB debugging. Also note that you might have to rename a large number of files so you should do this when you have free time
Can we make themes yes or no? I try to flash a themed mms and when I reboot, it isn't there, why? I'm assuming it will happen the same thing if I theme the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk and flash them, correct? Do we have to wait for custom roms to be able to theme?

4.1.2 or 4.2.2?
I am on 4.2.2 (last leak).
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Same fix works for both 4.1.2 and 4.2.2
You can use the 4.2.2 copy of Contacts for 4.2.2 as well, the ones in that link are the 4.1.2 ones.
Is there any difference between 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 Contacts app?

Doing the same thing on 4.2.2 and got FC's of almost all apps.
4.1.2. working good.
Maybe there are different instructions for 4.2.2? Or please share your services.jar from 4.2.2 and Contacts.apk. Thanks.

Here is a working zip. Just flash it in CWM. It will remove SecContacts.apk automatically.
Thanks again, Bo0mer and Kryten2k35
hallo together,
i think i make something wrong but i don't know where.
After i install the zip over CMW the contact app and dailer app is not there but the new one (aosp) i can't find in the applist.
I try to copy everyfile manually but this has the same result.
I'am on the last official 4.1.2 firmware with root that was build for germany.
Thanks in advance.

The zip I made renames contacts for you and installs the new one. If it didn't work for you, then something was different on your device,
