When at the FreeXperia logo, immediatlly flood the menu button to boot into recovery, then install the zip.

When in recovery, go to the mounts and storage menu, then choose to mount sd card, connect your device to your pc, and mass storage mode will kick in

use adb to push file
you can push the files using adb and then flash using cwm.
I had the exact same prob with my xperia s..felt awesome after solving the problem.

I am facing the similar problem, I am struck in FreeXperia logo on screen. Device seems to recognised.
I am facing similar problem as I have to push .zip to /sdcard/ location. After a long process I was able to see devices when I executed "adb devices". But now I can't push .zip files because of permission problems. I get Permission denied. How to fix it.. ??
Laptop should have SD card slot, insert your micro SD card into laptop SD card slot with the help of SD card adapter then put into SD card then put your micro SD card back to your phone, boot into recovery then install.

Hey guys I tried flashing framework mods for Xperia S on my Acro S before and I noticed that apps cannot detect my external sd card even my pc!
And I heard that the file framework-res.apk inside /system/framework is what causes this problem... Is this true? If it is, what specific file inside it causes the issue?
Also, I'm planning to unlock my bootloader soon to flash such kernels, will Xperia S kernels work on my Acro S? Will external sd card function with that? Please help... I want my Acro S to be fast and power saver at the same time based on Sony's stock ICS ROM
Xperia S mods are made for Xperia S, a device that doesn't have a SD Card. Something inside the ROM that dictates the SD Card access isn't on S. That's why.
hello all, i have 2 Xperia Acro S and one of it it's gone crazy. it's the external sd card that does not detect. it's been that way since ICS 2.55 until updated to recent .200 (.211 not yet). it's stock, everything's stock (locked BL, not root)
when i say it isn't detected, it's not like not detecting at all, i tried to reboot, sometimes it detect, can play some movies, music but sooner or later, the movie (for example) showing error says "cannot render file", and jump to home screen. say after 20-30 minutes, it's detectable, can be used (watching movie - from the point it halted) until it occured again.
at first i thought it was the SD card itself, then i switch to new card, format and so and still, the problem persist. i even use both card on other Xperia Acro S, as well as SD card reader to my PC, both worked well like nothing's gone wrong with the card.
my question is, probably the phone is causing this and is can be repair? how it'd be done? is it software or hardware related?
many thanks for the help, thank you.
Hello everyone...
I'm having an Xperia SL...
I was flashing a rom when this happened...
i got an error 7
so i mounted system
and when i pressed install from sdcard..
it said...no files found..
so i first fastbooted a kernel with TWRP...
it also showed empty and 25 gb free
and when i flashed stock ftf
it showed "Empty storage or unrecognizable file format" or somethin
so i fast booted a kernel with cwm to mount sd card..
when i mounted my sdcard to pc..it also asked me to format it...what should i do..?
Someone help...!!!
:crying:
PS- now i'm trying a memory card recovery software to backup my current files...and it shows that 6 gb is free out of 25 gb..
which is same as before what this happened..!!
which means memory card is not empty...it jus tgot corrupted...and in a weird way...
I have received this PM from @piyush95
as my sd card was damaged..
as i got no help...i just went on and formated it...
that fixed it..
So can you please close the thread...
