In one of the things I was searching, a Bell website came up and told me to also set "MMS protocol: WAP 2.0". Do I need to do that?

Still won't send. What network mode should I have? I am currently using GSM/WCDMA preferred. I have two other options:
LTE/WCDMA
LTA/GSM/WCDMA
By the way, I prefer to use 3G because LTE drains my battery I heard. And I can't use 2G because the signal completely disappears.

With this problem I have found that I have had to completely delete the APN and then add it back in and reboot. Delete, add it back in manually and then reboot.
You might have to reboot between deleting and re-adding.

I have one labeled "Bell Flex"
APN: inet.bell.ca
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: Same as "Bell" APN
MMS Port: Not set
Can I delete that one?
Not familiar with Bell APN settings but I'm sure they can be googled. I deleted all the APN's in my phone and only added then one I needed.
I believe you can restore defaults at any point as well.

So this is a problem I've had for a while now. I can't send or receive picture messages. When I try to send a picture it just stays on sending, but the picture never actually sends. When someone sends me a picture it gives me the option to download (whether my settings are set to auto retrieve or not) and when I click on download it just hangs there. I've tried sending a picture to myself and that works fine. Right now I'm on the Jedi Knight V3 ROM, but I've had this problem on Darkside Evolution, AOKP, and even stock 4.0.4 rooted. Please help!!!

Do as lmm112190 suggests.
If I unerstand correctly service providers (in Sweden at least) prevent users sending mms over wifi so that they can make money on mms.
Are you receiving pics at all? How about Internet access? If nothing at all then its apn related.

Yes. I've tried Textra and Chomp and they both don't work.
I've actually been going back and forth via emails with textra developers for two days and they came to a conclusion that they are having issues with multiple Note 3's
They will email me when they have a solution. When I find out, I'll keep you posted

I figured as much. I don't think it's going to be on their end though. It seems like something in the messenger settings on the note is breaking it if it's all sms apps

Youre right. They probably need to update this phone for a fix. I hope there's a fix soon.
I hate the stock messenger for group MMS. Its slow, laggy, and I get that stupid No Subject for every group text. Textra is amazing and I can't wait to start using it again.

I will say, if you use 8sms, and leave the stock sms app alone it all still works. If you install textra MMS is completely broken

I had the same problem with Textra (love this app). After researching and testing different APN settings, I finally found the one that works like a charm.
Create a new APN and use the values from the screen shots I have attached. Don't forget to enable "activate data" in Textra MMS settings. Then reboot and enjoy.

On wifi yes, not on wifi calling. That's something only enabled in stock sms app.
So I'm not totally sure what is different in my settings from others. However my MMS was not working over wifi when I used the new APN. I eventually turned wifi calling to use "cellular network when available" and all of a sudden it seems to be working. I had the setting in textra selected to use data when sending and receiving, but it didn't seem to be doing anything

Anyone having issues with Textra not being able to send MMS once or twice a day? I keep getting the red exclamation mark and have to reset my phone for it to work. Bummer, I had to go back to stock messenger because it was getting way too annoying.

I noticed this is LTE, what if you are not in an LTE area? Will your phone switch to a different APN from this customized APN? And if it switched would MMS again be broken?
I've noticed that I can only send 1 or 2 pictures at a time in the stock message app. Is anyone else having this issue? My daughter's iPhone can send more then that to me in 1 message. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? Thanks

I actually figured it out.
thanks to your observation.
I used SQlite editor, and went into Phone Info apk
then in: t_systemproperty find the same proxy addresses and ports.
then change to the respective values as we used to before.
I put 0.0.0.0 for the proxies, and <Not set> for the ports

Guys, I'm using N910P with a GSM SIM outside of US.
I've enabled hotspot through various "hacks" present here on XDA, but when I try to connect my PC through my phone, the PC gets stuck at "Obtaining IP Address".
In my opinion, there's something in stock MM ROM that looks for some Sprint IPs (I may be wrong). So, will editing lines in above mentioned post work for me too?
