Anyone had any luck editing the media_profiles.xml file to increase the bitrate? I've edited my file but ti doesn't seem to take like the Optimus G does.
If we work together on this one maybe we can increase the quality like the Optimus G mod/hack.

I was curious to know if there is any mods for to make the camera on our phone a little more clearer by modding the media_profiles.xml for our phone?? I am just asking because when i had my first android there were mods to type in to make the camera qaulity a bit better and record in a higher resolution but that phone was old and not very good to begin with...
In nearly every device I've owned, there's been a way to improve the image quality by increasing the bitrate and/or lowering compression, either in the stock camera app, or by a hack or mod.
Is there something similar for the LG OG Pro camera?
I'd like to see how much we could squeeze out of it by increasing the bitrate and reducing compression ratio, etc.
nevermind.
Here's the mod
40MP Panorama, No compression and I can't recall more. It's not my work, found it somewhere around xda but lost the link now.
Don't forgot to backup original media_profiles.xml before using rootexplorer(or adb push) to overwrite the file in /system/etc

Hi, I tried the G3's camera and I'm really impressed by the splendid quality, untill I tried out the slow-motion feature. I know that there's this camera tweak that you have to flash or manually move the apk and stuff
(For those who are looking for a mod that improves 4k bitrate as well as the 1080p fps count: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2778570) (Credit for this goes to the developer). But I'm wondering wether there is a camera mod that enables a higher resolution video/camera and bitrate for the slow-mo mode of the G3, right now it's set at 720p at 120fps, but when saved, the file seems only 120p, the fps is great but there's so many pixels and it's a shame for the awesome 4k screen that the G3 is packed with! (I'm not sure about the exact numbers though, could be false) Any help is greatly appreciated!:good:

Anyone?
Hello, as you know, the Huawei screen recorder does not record in FullHD, only in HD.
The application consists of 3 files, apk, dex and vdex.
He is looking at the file and I do not see anything for the resolution, I intuit that the file to edit is VDEX ...
Could someone edit the application to record in FullHD?
It is also possible to add 320kbps of audio to 48mhz (I do not know if it is already that way)
Also, record at 18mbps bitrate.
It's very easy, just look in VDEX for the current resolution 616x1280 or 1280x616 for 1920x1080 or 1080x1920.
I need that application and that is the only voice that records internal audio.
Greetings and thank you.
PD: In a while I upload the files
