try flashing it though cwm recovery (if u used twrp) perform fctory data reset...i am thinking only this could be the problem if u confirm that you flashed the correct kernel...

no it does not do so if you do it via a recovery (though i can be sure only of cwm as i tried only this one) but cant say what will happen if you do it via the bootloader... and try flashing rom using xwm recovery ...hope your ROM boots after that..:fingers-crossed:

I can't flash it.
when I reset and wipe everything it still stays in the samsung screen when I try to reboot.
Reset/wipe everything then flash whatever Rom you flashed to cause the loop.

Edit:
Case resolved.
It was my mistake. at last i learned from mistake

thanks for the reply guys.
Does flashtool show any bad blocks?? Can you see the kernel logo??
Do you wipe your dalvik cache after changing kernel? If not then the rom will probably fail.
With full wipe?

sir, sorry for troubling you again.
the problem is still not solved
I was using Slim bean for a quite a long time. Last month I changed my ROM to shpongle. since then the problem has started.
I found out that GPS doesnt work in shpongle so I wanted to revert back to slim bean. so i did full wipe, factory reset, dalvik cache. installed zip from SD card, flashed the boot.img file. but it was stuck at android screen (startup screen of slim)
so i reinstalled shpongle.
now today i wanted to install samsung ROM but the same problem showed up. so I had to again install Shpongle.
now i tried the boot.img provided by you, tried factory reset, but the problem is still there. Can you help out?
thanks in advance
hmm that is strange
that rom should boot should boot with cm10 kernel
i cant think of anything of now
BTW, the latest shpongle has working GPS so maybe u wanna try that
Sorry you're problem's not solved but i cant think of anything else atm

It's because you formatted your system and it has nothing to boot into now. A factory data reset should fix it.

If the system has been wiped a factory reset wont fix it. Its not like a factory reset re-installs what has been wiped

If you have a cwm/twrp flashable rom on your internal/external sdcard or if you have
a nandroid back and if you still have access to get into CWM/TWRP recovery then
why not simply restore a backup or flash a rom?
If you don't have any backups or cwm/twrp flashable zip file roms in your phone
then simply remove the external sdcard and put it into an adaptor and plug it into
your computer, download a cwm/twrp flashable rom and copy it to the sdcard.
Then put the sdcard back in the phone, go into cwm/twrp recovery and flash it.
If you cannot get into cwm/twrp recovery for some god knows what reason you will need
to Odin flash the stock rom in download mode to get the phone running properly again.
Good luck with it!

any reason why this WOULDNT work?
EDIT: No luck. Went past the samsung screen initially to android stock recovery to finish flash...once it rebooted back to stuck at samsung screen!
EDIT: SOLVED. checked Phone EFS Clear in ODIN...then flash stock. BREEZE

2.6.3.1 TWRP? Sounds like bad flashing. Have tried "Enable md5 verification" in TWRP while restoring? Was it a complete backup from TWRP? Kernel? Modem? Boot? System?
I have not tried that but now i flash again philz via odin and try again but seems like Bootloop ,again,

Before you restore
Make sure to:
1. In Philz, Wipe Data / Factory Data Reset then Clean Install a new ROM
2. Wipe Data / Factory Data Reset then Wipe Data Factory Reset
3. Wipe Cache and Dalvik's Cache
4. Flash TWRP
5. Restore BACKUP from TWRP
Try it!
