This rom is tiny but powerful!
I finally finished this with only a small size of 87MB.
Our phone has very less RAM to run ICS or JB in fully optimised manner. So these ROM's slightly fulfil that requirement. As the apps in these
ROM's occupy very less RAM of around, 20 to 30 MB only !
Due to less RAM consumption, phone tends to be more responsive, smooth and faster !
Overall performance increases roughly around, 5 times !
If you are a benchmark believer, then AnTuTu scores were also slightly higher compared to the original ROM's
These lite ROM's along with any script like Adrenaline Engine, can boost your performance slightly higher.
These ROM's can be used as a daily driver, 100% !
Slim ROM's have slightly higher battery backup compared to the original ROM's. For me atleast, i.e; with minimal usage of phone.

It is based on latest Jdevs build so camera should be working. Battery life was quite good for me. It lasted me for about 2-3 days.
PleasePlease put a complete description of the bugs of this rom, especially if camcorder works, hq youtube and battery. Also, if possible, could you attach some screenshots. Thank you.

It looks like any other CM10.1 rom so I don't see the point of screenshots and bugs are the same as Jdevs latest CM10.1.

hey @thehacka1 can you try compiling philz touch recovery for wildfire s ? it needs cm source but i cannot download gb's of source code beucase of slow internet

Apart of a few small changes, settings are from Cm10- so yes, it is included!

I succesfully build AOKP today. t is my weekend project, so I am off for the weekend now. Been testing, and everything that works in Androidarmv6 CM-10.1 works on AOKP.
I.m.o. camera, camcorder and panorama are working even better then in CM-10.1
For hardware (Qcom part) I used the CM/Androidarmv6 parts. It is well done, in words of support, so why not use it.
For frameworks, I decided to port all our fixes for YouTube, camera, EGL over to AOKP sources. Taking androidarmv6 might have been an easier choice. But in my mind, AOKP is much closer to AOSP, therefore more lightweight and if succesfull porting is possible, why not?
The first releases are only for Gio and Cooper. The overlay for it is tested and good (feedback please! :laugh: ).
Currently compiles are being done for mini, fit and galaxy5. As I took ldpi overlay from TheWhisps aokp jellybean, I am not sure yet compile will succeed.

Here you will find the AOKP manifest and here you will find my mods.
Again, Fit, Mini and Galaxy release are NOT sure yet!

If you come from a non AOKP rom, I strongy recommend to full wipe. I also had to wipe my battery stats!

Hi again. Your rom is smooth and is almost stable. I found some buggs, when you enable nav bar and hold your finger on one of its buttons and then swype up it crashes. Also when i take one pic i get gallary fc and swag papers dont work. That's all i found

Cm10 is much faster than Cm10.1. How you didn't notice it?
Hey ahmed can you fix my ROM's name? It's GamerzROM. Not Gamerz ROM.
And please type ROM version you get tweaks to info. Because I will integrate next tweaks to framework not ini.d. I will commit these tweaks to some of my friends ROM's from git(Only aways ROM's for now.). If you type version that will be more fair.

Its not as if I dont know that CM10 is faster. Just that development in the CM10 tree is pretty slow, now that it is stable , and the kernels are not updated for quite some time too.

Which differences you saw on kernel since cm10? Linux 3.0.80? What this gained? Even if you compare linux 3.0 and 3.10 you won't see dramatically improved speed or something. Cm10 million times faster with stock kernel than Cm10.1 full overclocked 410mb ram conf. There is no a big difference on visual framework and chrome, google play music etc works 2 times smoother on this one. (Not even usable on cm10.1.)

Can we see this as an update to the Black Pearl ROM or is it different? Do you use it with a specific kernel?

It's completely different like Tweak, performance etc.
Do you use it with a specific kernel? I see n3okernel in the screenshots? is it included?

Installed it just now.. If I want to use XM kernel 188v4, should I repack? It runs without repacking, but I mean, do I lose any functionality if i do not repack (battery optimizations and stuff)?

I haven't done any RAMDisk optimization. I'm using Shiz's RAMDisk. So it's recommended to repack. Most the optimization is system level.

No mate it's stock kernel but you can use n3o if you want.

Im using this ROM desensed with So.Ho Launcher for now, on XM kernel 188v4 (not repacked). Seems to work fine! Will let you know in a couple of days how the battery is treating me

Hi lolerpro8, thanks for your work.
A couple of things for now
Keyboard keeps FCing, so can't set up properly, can't fix perms. I will try and put rom manager in the rom-zip and fix perms that way.
The rom installs to NexusHD2-Jellybean folder, people who have tytung's rom installed should back it up first before trying this rom
Seems fast though.
Sh**** forgot about that.... On native SD it will put it self in nexushd2 folder.... And I thought I fixed keyboard FC... Maybe I missed somethind, I'll fix those problems when I get home.
And sorry for all the problems, this is my first time doing this

No worries, yes install is NativeSD.
I installed rom manager apk from sdcard using file manager and fixed perms, but keyboard still FCs
Its because latinime.apk is broken... I'll fix these problems when I get home.

in this rom work not the carbon system if you have change or insert the framework system from other rom....
if you work with framework from other rom you must change the settings and systemUI and delete the carbon apps

Dude, I know. I had problems when I was molding your framework folder... Later I will remove them later from settings, when I fix apktool(kind of broken)

I changed latinIME.apk with sportsstar89's 10.2 rom's one using root browser, rebooted and it is working now.
wifi, camera, data(rmnet), bt(inc. a2dp), play store, youtube all working
Also a reminder to people not to update the youtube app, it won't work on our hd2 and a few other legacy devices.
Yup... YouTube doesn't work on hd2, so therefore I use hacked YouTube apk's that are a bit outdated, but have more features and work perfectly

I am still on 1.0, I updated youtube and disabled HWA for it in HWA settings app and it is now working. Thanks to Magica for the find.
This ROM is made for speed only. I'm don't know how to compile ROMs, but if I did, I would compile liquidsmooth for hd2. Here you got as much customization as you would for AOSP, but it's smoother and has better speed and frame rate than most ROMs for hd2. Just imagine it as psx ROM, just for hd2

the linux compile is not the problem my friend. the new system modifications is the problem. i have a compiled 4.3 carbon rom with high speed and no working networks and bluetooth...
