casemachine persus - Galaxy S III Accessories

First of all, I made this account just to write a review on this case. I waited months for this piece of **** to arrive and when I did get it, the cut out for the speaker and flash are bad. The case won't completely close, like they didn't spend any time looking at the s3 curved design. I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone thinking of buying it. Not to mention how unprofessional the customer service is. Not much to review, but if you have any question go ahead and ask. The buttons to turn on the phone and volume rocker are hard to push.
How do i upload photos? i keep getting this error.

Case with flash?

I remember seeing a few cases for the iphone 3 that had a flash built in to it but for the life of me can't remember where I saw them. Anyone know any companies that made/make something like that? Would like to contact them and see if anything is in the works for the Vibrant.

I love this idea! I just wrote the company to see if they are planning to make this for any other phone models in particularly the Samsung Vibrant. I will post any answers they email me back. Fingers crossed.
thats cool. keep us updated
Ouch.
$38 bucks for that bloated thing?
just paid 16 for the tmobile gel case, so 38 if its nice with a flash does not seem "terrible"

Good idea, but this thing is butt-ugly....
Oh, lordy, people. You spend how many hundred dollars on a phone and you balk at $40 for a case? How many unused apps have you paid for so far? I like the idea that using the flash wouldn't drain the phone battery.
I like the kickstand case. Thanks for the link!
I did email the company and they sent a reply stating they will answer my email soon. I like the case and its functional. I also have the Tmobile $16 rubberized case with I really like. If there is a flash case that will fit the Vibrant I probably would switch off depending on where I will be going and during which part of the day. Night, flash case, day rubberized.
Night mode on the Vibrant is awesome, but a flash is useful for close up pics (and as a flashlight). I wonder how they would integrate it with the Samsung phones since there's no camera button. I sent the link to a co-worker with an iPhone who ordered it, so I'll be able to get some feedback on how well it works.

This is interesting, try putting your Vibrant in to see how it fits. If it does and it doesn't obscure the peripheral holes I don't mind if I have to turn the flash on separately then take a pic using the Vibrant screen then turning off the flash, this still would be a great option. Keep us posted please.
Here's a couple others that have a battery as well as a flash so you can charge your phone while you use it:
http://www.sackstark.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=8&products_id=75&language=en
http://fastmac.com/iv.php
I don't like flash anyway.
EWW..That is case is super ugly. Id rather have no flash than to put something that gay on my phone.
So any updates on that email from the company?
a better idea would be a replacement back cover that had contacts on the inside of the cover that actually touched the battery prongs so a seperate battery wasnt necessary.
it would keep the whole ordeal much slimmer, the only bulk would be the actual LED itself.

Yes just received a stock email from them the other day, it sure was not the 48 hours they said. Here it is in all its non informative glory, sorry:

i have too admit this is pretty bad-ass.
First off there are NO camera phones with "flash". What they have are super bright LED lights that turn on when the shutter is pressed and turn off at the end of the exposure. LEDs can run a long time on a set of batteries so all they need to do is put an on/off switch on the thing. Turn it on, take a pic, turn it off, there is no need for it to "flash" since the power drain of a few extra seconds on it is insignificant and make no difference to the overall exposure on our devices. So a rubber case with an on/off button, not hard to design.

Review: Ringke Thunderbolt case

I was contacted to give my thought on this case..and well here they are.
The case is very well made. Its like a rubber build and it feels really good. Its got good grip on it. So good that sometimes i cant take it out of my pants pocket. It doesnt really get to hot even when the phone is hot. It has power and volume buttons build into the case so it makes it easier to lock and unlock the phone,as well as turn up the volume. I really like it. And the price is only 17 bucks. I say its worth it. It fits like a glove and doesnt cover any of the microphones either.

I got a case similar to this that has that same strip underneath the earpiece speaker. I've found it hard to drag down the notification bar when cases have one of these.

I disagree with the notification bar dragging issue. I have the ringke case and think it's fantastic. The feel is a little different than I was expecting, but overall I'm very satisfied. It was only $10 with a coupon I found online.
Yeah i can see where that could be a problem but it hasnt really bothered me.
Again
I have posted this previously:
The strip under the earspeaker covers the light sensor, therefore, while on calls, the screen will not turn off automatically.
I contacted Ringke about this a couple of months ago. They responded right away, and informed me they would look into it. I have never heard back from them since.
I went ahead and cut the piece off. It is structurally useless.
One benefit of keeping the strip might be that the lights on the soft-keys at the bottom of the bolt always stay lit when the screen is on.
Other than that, it is a nice case and fits the bolt well. My only other gripe is that the sides are not as sturdy as on the same case for the itouch.

Yeah im not experiencing this problem either. Maybe it was the first couple runs? idk
I've had my ringke case now since the day I
received my thunderbolt. I've been very
pleased w/ the quality and fitment of it.
I haven't experienced any issues w/ the
strip causing the screen to not turning off.
I contacted support and asked if they would
be producing a similar case to fit the extended
battery but they said no :/ i think if they did
then I would go ahead and jump for the extended
battery.
Thanks alot. More tbolt users are gonna click that link than iphone users. Hope you get a one day ban.

I worked hard on making that video for you.
And just to let you know, your ad hominem argument is an improper use of the Latin phrase. If you may have noticed, I stated that I have no issues with the screen not turning off and then proceeded to bash you and your Apple fanboy. I wasn't trying to undermine your statement by directly attacking you. My statement simply concluded that I think you're wrong based on my experience with the case.
Regardless, I laugh at you for thinking I work for Ringke or received a free case. Please note, I would never accept a job as a blue-collar worker.

You are quite IMMATURE.
As I previously stated, I am not an apple fanchild. I use an ipod touch as the organization I work for uses apple based products to run their medical software.
Also, if you check the other forums (as I previously informed you), you will see that all of my self-purchased electronics are android based (Xoom, DINC2, OGDROID, Thunderbolt).
Finally, you most certainly did employ ad-hominem. It is a fallacy of relevance. It is any kind of argument that criticizes an idea by pointing something out about the people who hold the idea rather than directly addressing the merits of the idea. As you admitted, you attacked me personally in order to discredit my point about the case, rather than prove your point.
Go back to school, and learn to be respectful and kind to others. Shame on you.

Btw this case is horrible dont waste your money back button takes forever to respond to your touch if it responds at all , the touch sensitivity sucks , the only way you can talk to people is on speaker phone ,
When you try to talk to someone on the phone they can hardly hear you , and when your listening to them best way to describe it is they sound like robots
When you watch tv or your phone rings the sound is so muffed and distorted it vibrates the phone
Just prove that I actually do have this case pictures attached lol

Honestly, I only used this for when I went to the beach, pool, etc. I could never use this as an everyday case. However, I love this case for its intended purpose. It keeps the sand out and water out. I use it to take pictures underwater while snorkeling and it works great.

I am already looking on swappa.com for a new one. I also called the renters policy to see if they cover it if it was Stolen we shall see what they say
When Seidio had their February giveaways I decided what the heck and posted on their blog. Lo and behold I won a free case. Now that I've had it for a couple weeks I figured I'd share my thoughts. Yes it's a beefy case, and it has protected against a few falls already. Some people say it's too "blocky", to each their own I guess. They (Seidio) say the audio is unaffected by the membrane, it definitely is, but is greatly improved with the bottom flap open. The screen protector is great. Nice and smooth, the dots that people complain about are quite visible at some angles, but never really bother me. The back button is tricky at times being in the corner where it is, but the menu button which is in the same "situation" seems fine. Touch sensitivity seems fine, rarely do I notice skipping swipes or missed taps. Dragging down from the top is fine from either side of the speaker cover. Speaking of that speaker, I haven't really noticed much difference on calls, maybe a little muffled but not much. No echo a few people mention and I seem to sound fine at the other end. All in all I like the case, it's not perfect, but a good compromise for the protection.
I just bought and started using this case and so far I really like it. Yes, sound is a little muffled but far from unusable, and the screen protector is great. I read lots of reviews and many said the screen was unresponsive and the menu and back buttons were hard to use...I say bull honkers to that. I'm not sure what those people are doing but the screen works without any issues and its actually better than the lifeproof case I had been using.
It's not any more bulky than a defender or the puregear case I had before, it doesn't feel overly large or bulky and it actually looks pretty good IMO.
It's not for everybody but if you want great protection don't be scared off by the negative reviews. I'll post up pictures of mine when I get the time and ill post back after I've used it a little while but initial impressions are really good.
Here's a somewhat long term use update, after a few weeks of use now I still really like this case. It is definitely "installation sensitive", I've opened the case a couple times now and if I follow the exact procedure and take my time things sound fine, but a couple times I've rushed the installation and the phone sounded terrible afterwards. It seems to be dependent on how the phone's microphone lines up with the openings in the case, apparently if you don't position the phone just-right the microphone will be covered and make you sound like Charlie Brown's teacher - wah wah wah...
When it's installed right things are great, and 3 days now it's saved my phone. I got caught in a down pour on my way home from work one day on the motorcycle, the phone would have been ruined without this case. Seidio has a 20% discount code somebody posted in another thread so now would be a good time if you want one.

Thought I had found the perfect case, but...

I found this case on Amazon. It was described as the Onite Black Ash TPU Case and is intended for GS3s with the extended battery. I really liked it because it had a wide lip around the screen, looked fairly thick, and had a wedge-shaped section on the inside that filled in the recessed area around the camera on my back cover (I'm running the EZOPower extended battery). I thought that filling the recessed area with extra rubber would look good and give a little more shock protection. I also looked at the Onite extended battery and the back cover was identical to mine. I ordered it, thinking I had found the perfect case..
...and this is what I was sent!
Unfortunately, the case sent had little resemblance to the one I ordered. The pics below are of the one they sent. Hmm...different color, thinner construction, definitely seem flimsier, and transparent. I thought I was ordering what looked like a well-built and sturdy case, but received a flimsy, generic case that I could probably find on eBay for $1.99.
I thought they might have sent the wrong one by mistake, but the package was clearly labeled with the proper description. Bummer! I think I'm the victim of a bait and switch. Now I'm running a generic Hyperion clone. Does anyone know of another source for a case like the one I originally ordered? I've tried googling it, but no luck.:crying:
Have you emailed the seller? Looks nothing like the first one
Sent from my Galaxy S3 using neighbors wifi
I just found this Case just 5 minutes ago may be it can change your mind and buy this kind of case also. Elements Case Eclipse
No, I didn't bother to e-mail the seller. If it was labeled differently, then I'd think it was a mistake. But the label on the packaging clearly stated that this was supposed to be the one I ordered. I did a little digging, thinking that a mistake could have been made at the manufacturer and then saw that the company that sold it to me owned the Onite trademark. I'm going to get my money back.
I like the looks of the Element case, but I need something that will accommodate an extended battery. So far the Hyperion is the best one I've found. I'm going to keep looking. Eventually I'll find one I really like.
Leave a review to save someone else time and money!

Hi, I ordered the Onite Black Ash TPU Case for a Samsung GS3. I based my choice on the pictures and description shown - solid color, wedge-shaped area on inside to fill in recessed camera area of Onite extended battery cover, wide lip at front, etc (See pics Ordered1, 2, and 3). The case I got was completely different from the one I ordered. The case I received is mostly transparent, much flimsier, and lacks the filled-in section (see pics Received1 and 2). Was I sent the wrong case, or are your description and photos completely different from the actual product?
I am returning the case for a refund, but if you tell me that I received the wrong item by mistake, I will place another order.
Thanks,

Dear Joseph,
Thank you for contacting us with the problem and sorry to hear that you got the wrong products.
Since the order is fullfilledd by amazon, we would like to figure out the problem. We are afraid that amazon send the wrong products. First, we stopped selling the listing. Second, we will contact amazon and check the inventory for us.
Once we figure out the problem, we will get back to you. Since you have asked a refund, we are really helpless on this. Sorry again for the inconvenience we caused to you,

So it looks like a mistake was made, but they are trying to set things right.
I admit that I did leave a pissed off, but politely worded, review on Amazon at first, but I figured it would be better deleting it and giving them a chance at fixing it. Hopefully they will resolve the issue and let me know. I didn't want to do an exchange at first because 1) I was disappointed and 2) I didn't want to get the same thing again. I figure that this way if they resolve the issue, I can reorder and if they don't, I won't go through the hassle of returning a product twice.
Thanks to 1slow4G for prodding me in the right direction! I'm usually pretty understanding about issues like this, but I was pumped up at finding this case and really bummed when I got the wrong one and thought that they thought they sent me the wrong one but mislabeled it so I would think it was the right one. Now maybe they will find out that Amazon sent me the wrong one thinking it was the right one instead of them sending me the wrong one and trying to convince me that it was the right one. Then the one that I thought was the wrong one but labeled the right one will turn out to really be the wrong one and I can return it and get the right one! :fingers-crossed:

None too hard, but after all the drops over the years in my Spigen case, my phone is finally starting to show signs of the screen popping very slightly out of place. So I'm wondering what anyone thinks would be the MOST protective OP3 case to help my phone last even longer
