Been trying to find the answer but haven't really found out for sure. When updating can you simply reboot in to CWM recovery if already on WFTN? Or do you need to direct boot el29 kernel again to flash?

My friend have been trying to flash cwm to his phone really hard but everytime he tries he gets fail message
His phone is already rooted and already s-off as well. He is trying to flash with the newest cwm.

The recovery image seems to be damaged. Try another one. And be careful with the damaged ones. Not sure about recovery but other things like radio will brick the phone.

This is how you should do it, this will give you stock Gingerbread rooted with CWM recovery.
Once done, boot into recovery with pwr/vol up, flash the format all and then Calks ICS rom. Good luck.

No, nothing. There is nothing on screen at all.
