u can... just partition your sd card.. via cwm and use link2sd to move apps to the partitioned sd card.. u can search the fourms for details.
make a backup before doing this....

Well you can use a free app called link2sd. It forces every app to install to sd card which works with all roms. I'm having heck lot of internal memory even after installing more than 200 apps.

Yes i read your post. You said edit the internal memory to 1gb. It can be done by swapping your internal memory to external memory card. Its swapping your internal to external memory card not wat you said editing the internal memory.
it shows me that i have total 12gb space but i actually only have 6.51GB of free space but the bar is empty. any clue? I'm stuck. I have a Galaxy S3 T999V Help please.
and is there a way i can swap the internal and external sd card?
I believe there is an app but I'm not sure what it's called. Try formatting the partitions and installing a new ROM, should fix your probs

I tried flashing this. It switched the internal memory into the external memory, but then my external card disappeared (basically both external and internal was listed as the internal memory).
Are there other steps besides just flashing the file you linked?
Many thanks.
Sdcard0 should be external card now and external card should be internal did u try and unmount and mount again in settings in storage it should of switched places not put together

Yes. I'm on stock rooted. Here's a screen shot showing how basically both the internal memory and external card is listed as about the same... about 16gb. My external card is 64gb.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
You have a 16gb internal and 16gb external card because the remaing space on both card are different from what I see on your screenshot
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Yeah I noticed that too re the different available space but add you can see my external is actually 64gb (after removing the mod).

Just so you know. If you formatted your 64gb SD card in the Note 2, it formats in (exFat). I recommend this way. I've formatted on the note 2 with this mod and it works. Make sure you download the correct mod for (exFat). By the way I'm on stock rooted deodexed LK8.

If I am correct this phone is supposed to be 16 gb internal. Well where is the rest of my space at? Just wondering if it's my phone or is everybody's like this.
The rest of it is taken up by Samsung's preloaded apps

Moderators close thread . Thanks
It's not partitioned for "Samsung apps." So to speak. But you have to realize you have a boot and a recovery and a cache partition that aren't displayed in titanium backup. That's where the other 4 gigs are.

The screenshot says Titanium Backup is keeping the backupfiles in your internal memory instead of the external sd card and those can use up a lot of space.
