I've been looking for a stylus for the HTC One because I miss the S-pen on the Note 2. Anyone know which one is close to be as good as the S-pen ? Where can I buy it ?
Your not going to find anything similar to the s-pen because that was an actual stylus and the phone was designed for it. You can get a capacitive stylus but that would be almost the same as just using your finger. Anyway Waco, the company that makes the bamboo pad for Mac, makes some really nice capacitive stylus's. I'd recommend them.

Bought this one off ebay but the thing is way too thick and just doesnt perform well with drawing apps like draw something. Can anyone suggest a thinner one trying to find one along the size of the galaxy note

i would actually just try to order an replacement stylus for a Galaxy Note. I bought one from an AT&T store just so I could use some of my drawing apps and I'm loving it.
The notes pen isn't suppose to be able to write on this phone I watched a video on YouTube and he was trying to use the notes pen and it didn't work. I was going to get one till I seen the video

Note works best with no screen protector though or a very hard plastic type of protector not sticky thin ones.

I've used one of those. it's got a big, flat >1/4" disk on it.
VERY awkward.

I didn't play with it long enough to care to find out. It was that "odd" to handle.
Sadly that doesn't make it a "thin" stylus by any means.
I saw one being advertised on barnes and noble's site for the nook that "looked" thin but I haven't checked it out to see whether it was just the photo that made it look that way.
So I found a stylus that has a smaller surface area. Its the same thickness as a regular pen.

If you want to draw on your E4GT you should really give the Jot Mini a try.
http://www.amazon.com/Adonit-Stylus...LTAU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338263247&sr=8-1
It is very accurate, much more so than ANY bubble-tip stylus and it registers very well on the E4GT's screen. I use one myself. It is also nice and small which makes it easy to carry around with your phone.
Has anyone seen or used any good stylus's? I want to get one for drawing apps on my One X. Ive seen the odd one or two but they have like rubber brushes at the end :S. I just like a traditional pen style stylus, if not then something close as.
You can't use a pen stylus with the one x. For the rubber ones I like the wacom bamboo ipad stylus because it has a finer tip than most.

So, basically, any capacitive stylus would work on One X? Because I've tried to use GNote's spen but it didn't worked
I too want a stylus, but they're all the stupid looking round tipped ones that look like pens for special kids

I really love the jot pro. I was part of the kickstarter project. It works great.
I found some hidden settings that I think are stylus/pen related.
The tutorial won't open so I ain't so sure.
^^ wow! So the One X has a digitizer?

Download minimalistic text widget from store.
Put the widget on the home screen and then open it.
Scroll down to Start another activity and press below.
Scroll down through activities down to pen settings and select it, it has the Google system robot icon and press OK.
Go back to the home screen widget and there it is.
It seems that its going to be a later feature and I can guess that HTC will only impliment it once they release an expensive accessory.
HTC sense server for pen apps leads nowhere and the tutorial on how to use it won't open.

this came yesterday for my phone. gorgeous case and the stylus as well. i do not use it but the brief little moment i had playing with the stylus pen was really nice and responsive. here is the link to check it out quite cheap as well guys not bad for £3.50
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270963796836?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Just got this nipple stylus from ebay its small and compact fits nice and firm in your 3.5mm so it isnt going to slip out anytime soon also it doesnt protrude too much to worry about , aswel audio out isnt affected so you can still play music out of your loudspeaker
The tips made of soft silicon so its really soft and glides across the screen very easily, the phone registers all the touches and swipes without a hitch
Its small size is convenient but if you have large fingers it can be annoying luckily though if u have a 3.5mm adapter lying around anywhere plug it in and your good to go

Hey there,
so I've been using some standard noname pen for some drawing apps along with my S3... but truth is I really hate it.
Its one of those with a pretty thick writing piece, it gives a feeling of not exactly knowing what you draw or what you are tapping onto.
So I was looking for another pen, a pen with a pretty slim tip, giving a more controled experience.
First thing i noticed is that there really aren't alot of those. The ones I've been looking at are made by samsung for their galaxy note and galaxy tab devices.
So here is the question: Are those pens basically compatible with the S3? Who can really give me assurance it will be working?
This is one of the pens I'm talking about: Samsung ETC-S1J9SE
This is the S3 pen with really really bad reviews (I really don't want to buy that one): Samsung ETC-S10CSEG (C pen)
Can someone provide info or suggest another pen?
Thanks in advance!
swent
PS: All I want is basic touch functionality, I know some of these pens have extra buttons or rubber features, I don't care for these extra functions.

besides the S pen, another popular one is adonit jot
you can find the s pen cheaper on ebay. was gonna get one for 15.
The note actually has a different interface for the stylus I belive it is similar to a wacom tab, if I recall correctly it uses wacom tech. I don't believe the stylus for the note will work properly with the s3

Coming from the OG note, I kinda missed the spen to be honest. I bought one and I'm kinda interested to see if a anyone else uses one?
There can only be one, the chosen ONE.
I had the OG Note as well and I don't think the One's digitizer would come close to the S-Pen with the Note's walcom digitizer.

The HTC One won't recognize ANY non-capacitive stylus. It doesn't have any stylus-specific hardware in it. Most phones do not have any stylus capability unless they physically ship with a stylus.
Hi . I did tried the s-pen but does not work
I have screen protector , could be this the reason?
Anyone ?using pens

S-pen, 3DS stylus, etc. will not work as the screen is capacitive and does not have the special part built in for S-pen functionality. The only type of stylus that will work are those made for capacitive screens, usually labeled for use on iPad, such as these http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/10/2925937/best-stylus-ipad-review
Stylus that will work has to either made of metal or soft rubber. Plastic will not work. Right now Im using the tail end of my telescopic stylus which is smooth round metal tip and works great. It can be purchased on Amazon for a few $. The soft rubber one works too, but it has to be moist, so you can dip it in water before you begin. Edit: After some research, I realize I'm rather ignorant on stylus. First of all, the price of stylus goes from a penny to hundreds of dollars. Second, you don't need to spend alot of money to find a good stylus. Third, before you get a stylus, you should know what kind of screen you have on your device. Somebody that owned Samsung note 3 gave me a lecture on the subject of screen types. Anyway, lg optimus g pro had capacitive screen , similar to iPad. So get the stylus for iPad you will not go wrong. Also, screen protector shouldn't interfere with the stylus, a good quality screen protector anyway.
