What is the best Office app for android In Your Opinion? - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

I am looking for the best office app (paid or free) which doesn't lag and have rich feature, like we can make table, customize font, align text, etc.
I tried QuickOffice but still lag when typing and scrolling, Office Suite 7 is better and have a ton of features too, but it still lag.
Google drive seems okay, no lag, but it lack of feature and cannot edit or view my documents in internal storage.
To moderator: if I posted this in wrong section please move it, cause I am confused between post this on Q&A or theme and apps.

I am using Office Suite Pro 7 now, but a bit lag while scrolling pages.
Web view of it works fine tho, but looking for more fluid office viewer and editor.
I will try skydrive and kingsoft office tomorrow.
Thanks guys for your help

I like kingsoft office.

Google drive
google drive just updated. Now it allows u to store files offline.

Paid for officesuite, and have tried a bunch of others but nothing seems to really feel right to me. I use Evernote and format on my laptop but officesuite served its purpose for me. I fried my laptop right before finals about 2 years ago.....it saved my semester

Sliding between activities

Is there an app for sliding screens between various activities when multitasking? For instance, I would like to play online chess and online scrabble at the same time. Is there something that would save me having to switch off applications, allowing a smooth transition through screen sliding?

You can also try LMT Launcher (search xda there is a thread with the app its not in the play store but I think you still need root)
Why not root? I mean it's all good if you don't want to just wondering if there is something preventing you from rooting. I don't know how I'd live without root lol

Isn't that what the recent apps button is for? That is exactly what I do with it...

Many thanks for your replies. Sounds like rooting's the answer!

Sounds like a great plan. You will like the ride. And the app is just great.
I found an app caused App Launcher that I mapped to my Hold-Home button (instead of Google Now). It cost $1.99 but pops up a menu to launch favorite apps from. Google Now is mostly a waste on the N7 without wifi.
The app is hard to find in the Play Store app. I had to use the website.

Many thanks for this! Much appreciated!
I have since then discovered SwipePad, which is even better than what I was looking for. And it's free!

Where do you get Polaris Office and is it available for purchase or is it still free? I know it was on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Try Kingsoffice its fantastic.

Given that Google bought quick office, I would at least consider it since it's likely to evolve into the de facto standard for the android platform.

Using Quickoffice HD its the best looking and easiest to use in my experience.
best for me has been office suite. The advantages are many including opening password protected files
Quick Office HD... if you buy it on the Play store you have to side load it...otherwise you can buy it on Amazon and it installs without issue.

I prefer documents to go. Its the only one of the major office apps out there that worked flawlessly with some of my gigantic excel spread sheets. All the others crashed or failed to load properly these spreadsheets.
Kingsoft Office works for me. Free too.
why not google docs/drive?

I use Smart Office 2, it was a sale on play for something like £1-£2, tried kingsoffice on the Sony tablet S I used to have, but it was too laggy for me, SO2 worked great on that then and now.
It has the 'swish' factor plus use can share in all the usual places, as well as the usual doc, docx etc.

Try ezpdf or repligo
Fast smooth and has a ton of features.
I like repligo...
I have used Adobe Reader for years and never had complaints about this app personaly.
I think Adobe's own Reader does the job very well.
The other one I like is ezPdf. It has some decent annotation options,

i'm using adobe reader and having no troubles with it.
+1 EzPdf.

The Amazon Kindle reader is the best.

If you are often reading pdfs with many and large pics you might want to try perfect viewer with pdf plugin...

I'm a law student and my court cases are in pdf form. The best one I've used so far is ezPDF. It's really worth paying for.

I been using perfect viewer with pdf plugin for comics and work its super lag free for larger files and it saves a lot of app space like pdf and cbz or cbr all under one app.. market link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rookiestudio.perfectviewer

Kingsoft Office (free on google play) lets you make presentaions similar to, but obviuosly not as in depth as Powerpoint.
Its also a decent all round office app considering its free.
OfficeSuite Pro does PowerPoint. And Word. And Excel.
