They're viewable. They're black and white emoji. But you need a keyboard that allows you to input emoji. If you are using a gs4 you should be able to see this ??

Yeah, I can see it on my S3. It came stock starting with 4.1.1 I believe. Being able to see them anyways...
+Cool story, bro!
+The "Thanks" you get from me is not just thanks, but can be laughing, props, +1, and so on
What I did was use the nexus transformation pack for the gs3 and just installed the emoji keyboard from there kind of tricky to use since is not meant for the galaxy 4 you have to select every option with the power and volume up and down button..... I wouldn't install anything else that it brings since it might mess things up,.... But i could vouch if you install the emoji keyboard there are no type of problems....... maybe a dev could extract it from the zip and make it easier to install

If you or someone post your request on XDA then is that called begging ?
And if it gets fulfilled then can't you just take 1KB of your bandwidth and thank someone.

Does anyone have or know where to get the stock keypad apk for messaging? I like to have the numbers at the top like it had from the factory...the skynote rom also had the same keypad, so maybe i can pull the apk from it and push it to any other rom that i am using? Where would it be located at if so? The system folder is where the apk's are for the apps but i dont see anything for mms or messaging...

There is a way to make AOSP keyboard show numbers on top. Under advanced setting in keyboard add Custom input style English (PC). There is step by step instructions some where here on XDA, just do a search.

This is a handy workaround. Thanks. However, this setting also has punctuation keys on the right, making all the keys smaller. My perference would be for a true Note 2 type keyboard, though as of yet it's not available for 4.2. I'll use this in the meantime, though. The info is appreciated.
I am currently running RootBox as my daily driver. Stock Android is truly amazing, only thing I missed from Touchwiz was the native gif support for the gallery. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the gallery app? Or a really good alternative to the native gallery app with gif support?
Thanks a bunch!

Well bad news is, Since Rootbox is AOSP/CM based, the Gallery App from Touchwiz will never run properly on it. I am looking for other Gallery Apps that do have native gif support.
I cant seem to find anything. That would be something awesome for a developer to create.
