If your on stock, then probably the most recent one that was just released. Depending when you got the phone also matters. If just recently then yes it's the new modem & kernel UCAMA4.

If I downgrade and use the free sim unlock method...once I update to a newer rom with update android etc etc...will I lose the sim unlock or will it unlock sim for good?

I never took the 4.1.2 official update...is there any 4.1.1 roms so I can just flash and do the sim unlock? Can't find any anywhere if they exist..when I got my phone it was 4.1.1 if I remember

Hey Jay I just read something about downgrading your radio/modem. And someone posted that they got the option 4 that's missing in the 4.1.2 firmware. In the hidden menu!! To come up having 4.1.2 installed?? Not sure if it'll work but worth a try. If the 4.1.1 don't quirk for you..

It worked. All you need to do is downgrade the radio to get the option enabled for the last step. I did it on cleanrom 4.8 which is a 4.1.2 firmware

Hmm looking at the screenshots on that one it doesn't appear to have the S4 style launcher or widgets... It looks like it has the Google S4 edition which I don't think includes the touchwiz launcher only the stock google launcher.
Jedi x14 has S4 theming. I'm running it now

I was going to mention Jedi as well, it does look great with the S4 theme. Make sure you get the full version of the rom. It will have the option for the themes as you install the rom.

I haven't but its looking for a unmodified version of the android operating system. I'm running beanstalk so I doubt that work for me.

The weird thing is that the same thing happened to Sprint users as well except some rooted phones (like mine) work. And it is not just the device status of normal vs. modified because other people have their device as normal on other ROMs and it does not work.
That's weird. I'm running rooted TW stock firmware 4.1.2 (with just some audio tweaks) but I was able to download and install the app. I've been using it since yesterday with no issues.

Nevermind I'm not gonna tease. Familiarity with a root explorer will help. I used solid Explorer.
*Uninstall the nfl app if u still have it.
1. System/app rename superuser.apk to su.apk.
2. Go into system/build.prop. Open with a text editor.
Find the line "ro.build.tags"
There will be an = sign after it then something along the lines of hidden keys or something like that. Doesn't matter what it says just delete it so all it says is ro.build.tags
Click save. Once it saves reboot.
3. Install nfl.apk
4. MONEY!

Kenny. Any word if that app can be updated regularly? My guess would probably b no since since the actual app was modified. Just a heads up I'm Pretty sure with my method above everyone will be able to update regularly without any issues. Thanks for posting that though

i went back to stock unrooted and got new update to try it out
so far so good, battery even better too
but keep checking this post cause this rom really has me interested in trying
