Hi!
I want to make some modifications to the SystemUI.apk (color, etc.) in the stock GT-S5660M ROM, but it is odexed, and I do not know how to deodex it
Can someone who is good at stuff like this please deodex this file?
It is attached, much appreciated!
Dude , can deodex the file for you that's easy , lolz but there are ways of changing the theme without deodexing , Google "Ultimate online theme kitchen" can change colours and generally theme , failing that and if your feeling adventurous search dsixda kitchen on xda and that can deodex whole rom for you , if you want and then you can add/remove/mod all you like , I've been there and done that on android learnt so much from the devs here and elsewhere , read , read , read then ask GOOD questions
Hope this helps you PM me if you don't figure it out and I'll deodex that file for you
Thanks for the tips! I have tried UOT kitchen but it wouldn't let me submit to kitchen for some reason.
Anyways trying the other kitchen tomorrow

Okay guys, as the title says. I'm more to asking about the v6 supercharger on our Xperia play. Does anyone have something like supercharger service not installed after reboot? But you already ran the script and make a clean reboot using zepp's v6 supercharger. Sorry for any bad English, it's just a question/discussion. Hope you guys wouldn't mind.

did u follow the instruction and set the 99 script to run at runtime or setup a widget for it?
it has to be run on each startup of the phone or some changes will be lost
I did follow. Means I need to run the script at startup? Is it normal for you guys? I thought it should be run once only?

What download file are you currently using?
I'm myself am currently using the U9RC8.2 release (found here) and have noticed that the settings do stick as opposed to the last official release (8).
Thanks mate.

Hey, this is a little bit noob question, I actually didn't find the answer from google search and I have to go sleep really soon..
So my questions is that can I deodex the odexed OTA JB ROM by removing .odex files? then do I have to replace these apps or what..?
I don't see odex file in /system/bin/ which was in Gingerbread ROM on ZTE Blade.. so the init.rc does not need editing?
You need to actually deodex the apps themselves. Just removing the .odex will not work.
There should be updated apps to deodex apps from within windows. Just Google "howto deodex"

While browsing browsing on the general android software and hacking development I stumble to this thread V6 SuperCharger By the age of the thread I can say it is a pretty old one and a popular one too, then it hits me if our SGG is capable of using V6 SuperCharger looks promising though just getting confused on the terms kinda new on that thing they're talking about busy box with 1. something version when I check mine it says v9.7 so it makes me confuse more. can someone knowledgeable explain to me or someone who is using it already give me a hint, need a lot of things to learn here. or if Our devs will integrate that mod on their ROMS then it would be great!
Thanks in advance and have a nice day every one!

I'm pretty new on that thing. How do find things when you installed it? any noticeable changes on performance etc.. battery anything.. and one more question is it hard.to install?
Performance is really smooth especially launcher.it doesn't kill itself after exiting any big app .haven't noticed any difference in battery though .easy to install just make sure adb drivers are installed on ur PC and run ultimatic jar patching tools on ur PC and it will patch your service.jar automatically

I'm on 75% still confused about the service.jar how should I patch that. can you give me what service.jar should I be using and where should I put it so I can just install it with the script without using a pc. I got lost on using the Ultimatic patcher tool using the windows ver RC6 because I can't run the RC7 For all OSes one. Dunno why it force closes when I run it. i changed it to .exe instead of zip by the way. I'm lost on following zep's tut it's confusing. There is a vid to but the problem is where on different phone that is what making it hard too because OS is an factor on the installation.
Thanks in Advance if you'll help me and have a nice day everyone

you can use my attached. supercharged services.jar.USE IT ONLY ON GENNXT INU ROM.OTHERWISE YOU MAY GET BOOTLOOPS.just put the file in root of internal sd card and use jelly ice cream parlor inside the script to install it

Not working in 4.2.2 stock only 50% charged. After patching it leads to bootloop. Is there any way to 100%charged.
