[Q] Foreign language font for browser

hi,
i am trying to browse foreign websites and need to install font to display foreign language.
I have ".ttf" file, could anyone tell how to install this font?
The phone is not allowing me to paste font file in ...system/fonts folder.
Any help is appreciated.

I have a font but it is in apk format (works with other galaxy phones )
so my problem here I want that font in .ttf format , how can I extract that font from the apk file

Rename file extension from apk to zip, extract contents.

I have already done that , But it doesn't work
when I apply the font it , the letters are not correctly written
BTW : the font that I want to apply it is an Arabic font

What you're talking about now it's about applying the font;
The fonts don't display correctly because ICS/JB needs fonts to be coded in a certain way - i don't recall the specifics, but i do know i could find it through a Google search.

hi , i install Xperia Slim ROm and i really love it
but unfortunately it seems creator of this ROm Remove must language packs and change some fonts
cause i cant see Farsi or any Middle east Language in First Run or in Language
and my SMS in inbox in Unicode ( Persian ) is blank with some unknown characters
is there any change to find a patch for install Default Middle East Language and Fonts ?
if not , is there any chance to Copy it from Stock 2.3.4 ROM and move and replace with some Root Explorer ?
i try to copy font from system/fonts and paste to Slim rom Fonts folder , but it only solve my Reading
so i think there must be other important files must copied.

how import a ttf font file? i use ifont but change only some font with the imported file, i use Fontster and change all the font with your chosen font, but not can import a new font file.... how add manually? where put the file?
