I am using a galaxy nexus with JB on it. the problem is that texts in bengali goes out of the screen, so words go missing. happens in facebook app, play store and other apps. it doesnt happen for english. anybody knows any fix for this? i have tried different fonts, neither solves this problem.

I installed the free Merriam-Webster Dictionary app on my GN and it works fine with the exception of the Voice Search. When I hit the Voice Search icon, a screen opens that says, "Preparing," and the app gets hung up and does nothing more. Has anyone had a similar problem or know a fix? Thanks.

For some reason I am unable to login to certain apps through Facebook, mainly Pulse News and Words with friends but also anything else that you can login with.
It goes to the Facebook screen but stays blank and looks like its loading but nothing happens, has anyone else had this problem?
I have tried uninstalling the Facebook App and re-installing.
I am currently running RevolutioN xMas v3.0 A2SD+ By TamirDa rom. I haven't posted in the thread for that ROM as I wasn't sure it was related to that.

I have this issue with the stock samsung browser and email apps on my ace 2, running jelly bean, where it sometimes completely freezes up and then closes itself without giving any message about it (as in no message saying "com.android.secbrowser has stopped working" or anything like that.)
This happens incidentally only, but when it does happen for a webpage or e-mail, it will happen for that page or e-mail every time i retry.
I have tried many things and found that in both the email and browser apps this has to do with the downloading of images. Since turning that off in their settings removes the problem for both apps and then manually downloading images will cause the crash again.
Has anyone else got this problem? or does anyone have an idea on how to resolve it?
Perhas any apps/permissions/libs needed to make it work?
Need help on this one, as it's annoying, and I like both apps too much to give up on em and switch to market variants over it.

So one thing I've just noticed with my new G3, is that it doesn't seem to be remembering my default app preferences...
Like everytime I get sent a link and click on it, it asks me what browser to use (Chrome, Firefox or the Default Browser) I always check Chrome and set it to be the default browser, but it always happens again, with other apps as well. Not sure if it's just my ROM or if an app could be possibly doing it... But I've checked settings and have reset it all and it doesn't help.
Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this?

The same here. And it was also happening with my Galaxy s4.never understood why.
I thought that problem would be gone with the g3 but some times it still happens.
I had a similar problem with my G3, in my case was the home button witch launcher would be the default, and discovered it was an app causing it, uninstalled all apps and then installed them one by one and found the culprit and once it was removed it was all OK. For me was a game called Jugs, it might be something different for you.
Recently the Email application seems to have renamed itself on the App screens to be called ACTIVITY_ENTRY_NAME instead of Email. Everything works but I'm so fussy that this annoys me and I'd like it to say Email like it used to.
Does anyone have the stock email APK so that I can try reinstalling this to see if that fixes the issue. Or can anyone recommend any ways to correct this.
Have done a reset of the device and have also upgraded to 10.5.1 and rerooted again and nothing has fixed it.
The application name changed about the same time as all the issues with Google Play Services stopped working messages occurring.
