Same here. I am on cm10.1, and I think I read somewhere that it won't work on cm based Roms or 4.2.2 I can't remember which.
Someone please correct if I am wrong.

I am running AOSPA 3.5 and I had the same problem.
What I did is I deleted my current Netflix.apk and downgraded to version 1.8.1 and it's all good now.

Are you running Any undervolt? And if so how much and that means your running custom kernel so what's your I/0 scheduler and governor? Only answer if your running Custom Kernel. What browser there's a lot of things that can affect to that situation

Try Dolphin MINI much faster and simpler than HD
I've been having that same prob on stock browser as well as boat and chrome. Clean flash, all stock.

Ok did a clean install and no change. I probably should have just waited till there is a release candidate instead of posting this.

I did. Its the same results. Its not really a big issue. I'm sure the devs are aware it since we are still in beta.

Not if it only occurs for a few. Check the bug tracker. If you don't see it then you may want to add it as well as a logcat of when it happens.
I experience this same issue on 3 different kernels. The page is stays blurred...sometimes for 30 seconds until it renders. This is the main issue which has made me stay away from cm9 recently. Some people have it, some dont. I have tried Dolphin mini with better results, but still bad to some degree.
I did a clean install of beta1 and its still there. Idk maybe I will try flashing back to stock and then flash beta1 and seen what happens

THANKS!!!
I tried it, and even pluged it in before a reboot but nothing shows up on screen. I see a little flickering, but nothing else.
Also, are you placing "com.qc.hdmi_out" under "Property Name" or "property Key"?
you may want to add "true" o your directions, they are not specific.
Thank you for your efforts none the less! This is a great step in the right direction. :good:
Works well thanks

tried this and it worked. only issue that remains for me is when the MHL cable loses power or is unplugged, the only way to re-initiate the hdmi-out sync is with a reboot of the device. anyone know of a way to manually trigger a resync?
Can anyone post a flashable fix for this, I am at my uncles house and was planning on watching a movie with my cousins and then I realized my jb ROM doesn't have mhl support :/

For me, setting "ro.hdmi.enable=true" does the job. I tried your com.qc.hdmi_out line also, but found that I had difficulty getting consistent results, but devices may differ. ROMs earlier than 10.0.0 Stable often crashed after using HDMI, after pulling out the cable, even though the video worked well up till that point. But recent ROMs seems to be stable for me.
It is a frustration for me that those who (probably) know about the deeper aspects of this issue (why it was never turned on in the default configuration) never comment on it, so those who want it to work spend lots of time fiddling with it. On the teamhacksung site, a statement was made that it will never work because it involves proprietary code, but that was some time ago, so who knows? The fact that it works well seems to suggest that all the needed code is present and functional, so the mystery is why it is never addressed by the developers explicitly, or turned on by default, or have a setting to turn it on as Galaxy S had.

Liquid smooth Rc7 att version graphical glitch help

I'm running liquid smooth rc7 and when I open an app that requires the screen to be horizontal it glitches and for example makes 5 loading circles on the screen. Or makes green lines of pixels. It also does this on the YouTube app when doing a full screen video. I've disabled hw overlays in the developer settings. Since I've read that that helps. But it hasn't. It helped for rc3 but not for rc7.any ideas on what I could do? It's not too much of a big deal since the rom and apps still work good. And run fine. It's just that transition that glitches that bothers me. Thanks

me too... if u find out lmk....
Well in that topic I neglected to read that it is incompatible with CyanogenMod, which is what I was using at the time.
However, and I'm not sure about other AOKPs but task650's 4.2.1 AOKP has the option to change it between screen on, screen off, and screen unlocked. I was having other issues with that ROM, however.

I realize this thread hasn't been active for over a year,
But xPosed Installer has a lot of mods including NFC while the screen is off. Might want to check it out.

Haven't touched CM10.1 nightly ROMs for a while. But the LED Notification stopped working, stayed on an older version of CM10.1 nightly.
Gonna try that when I get home. Also PA made it to this device. Also the Jedi mind trick Roms. So many options. Wow head's spinning.
Leaning towards CM10.1 though.
No signal, can't play video
I was using CM10.0. Updated CM10.1 with corresponding gapp.
-Can't register on cellular network anymore. Can't set AWS frequency in the factory testing mode.
-All of my Video apps start legging, play videos for a little while and quit after about a minute, say video format not supported. Even though the video is mp4 format and it was playing it before quitting.
How should fix it? Flash kernel? Which kernel should I use?

Had some problem with radio but I just had to update to the latest version and everything else looks fine
I tried to resist flashing this ROM but had to give in to temptation. Said to myself no more flashing when I got into boot issues with JMTJB6. Odin flashed stock and left it unrooted! Was happy...but then temptation. Happy I did it, rock solid, butter smooth, doesn't seem to have any lag.

Thanks that did the trick. I was going mad at why the LED notifications stopped working.
Also still on the non-touch recovery, 5.0.26 the one that needs the Darkmod scripts to wipe cache and do full installs.
Also had to turn sensor on/off before it actually worked. Read that from another post from someone that helped me.
Thanks again dude.
