Sorry K2wl, there is a writing mistake done by me,I have installation problem with both the rom u & balli, but ballis problem solved not yours still showing bad zip, is this download problem or recovery problem?

Most likely it has to be a bad download bcoz you said balli's ROM is working

Also if my rom's installation is started it will be aroma. not a bad zip error.

i didn't do any thing first my phone hanged for the first time then i rebooted my phone
then the apps on the sd was not appearing and I was not able to download any game to the sd
so i rebooted the phone again and the problem started
what did you do before your device stopped?
then the solutions i tried was install a custom rom aurora and repences when i installed the custom roms the phone hanged at the samsung galaxy y gt-s5360 screen
so i tried doky odin package then the phone started looping on the samsung logo again

if you are sure that you did not do anything and it just all happened then you are unlucky to have to have a factory defect phone
bring to samsung's service center
Flasing stock firmware is the only thing you can do if nothing works. And is that doesn't work too, get your phone replaced.

i am not sure but i think i downloaded skype and antivirus
BTW my phone was rooted and was working on doky odin package

after flashing the stock rom, do a data wipe and cache wipe but preferably you should have done that before..
if that doesnt solve the problem, try flashing a stock kernel and reflash the stock rom

Don't you remember your stock ROM version? Just search for stock ROM version for the place you live in in Doky's stock ROM post and download the appropriate kernel from the kernel thread.

Boot in recovery and go to the advance menu and fix permissions...that should fix it.
If that is not fixed, re flash the rom doing a full wipe this time.

i am using this rom 4.3 from a while ago and i wanted to change it to the 4.4 rom
i decided to flash Omni 4.4.2 new rom from this url

As per the installation instructions i went to download TWRP ver. 2.6.3.1 from here

and i installed it through Odin, and when i tried flashing the rom through TWRP it says successful when i do factory reset and when i try to format data it says failed and when i try to flash the rom it says failed
it keep saying
e:/ unable to find partition size for "/data"
am not developer or expert, but i used to flash many roms for all my past android devices and this is my first time to see such error
well, the device still working when i exit TWRP and do system reboot my rom boot up normally and the device is perfectly working on my phonix 4.3 rom
but i noticed that Odin can not detect my device on the downloading mode anymore but it still can detect it if the device is turned on
So, could you guys advise about what exactly i had missed or damaged here? can i flash other roms? or recovery?
please give me some help here in deep details as am really new to such errors

Have you installed the newest version for CM11 (4.4.3) by Olivier? I downloaded from the website, but I failed to install the rom. Here is the log for installation through ClockworkMod Recovery V5.0.2.8:

Thanks for telling the main cause I can't install CM11. But I am not sure how can I remove the old one and install the newer version (CWMv.6)?

You can install it through cmd commands.
first download the recovery.img from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2740145

I installed the latest version of CMW ( CMW Version 6.0.4.9 )
But still not able to install Kitkat ..same error as above mentioned KITKAT link

Then most probably your download got corrupted. Download it again. And try to open the zip to see if its okay.

Installed CWM v.6, but still can't install CM11! Even I re-downloaded the zip for three times, it still showed the failure texts to me! How can I check the zip whether it's ok?

Try connecting to a computer and open the zip file and say what did you find. My download got corrupted 4 times when downloading through chrome. Try downloading via a download manager. But if it does not work even then, try using TWRP 2.7.1.0. You should find it high in the development section.

Any recovery can be flashed in same way.(as you flashed CWM).

I tried both recoveries again, downloaded from various browsers. But I still can't install the zip. I downloaded the newest version of CM11 yesterday (10/06) Link for download CM11

1.Try to open it in a PC with Winrar or Winzip to check that the archive is not corrupted....
2. Or u can try the other 4.4.x ROMs in development section...
3. Download the ROM with a download manager software like "Free Download Manager" with PC and open it, when u sure the archive is OK, send it to your SDcard and install
This is all I Know about your problem...

So the error shows that your ROM you've downloaded is corrupted since the download process. As I told u must download it in your PC with a Download Manager software, not with your browser. Then open it to see the archive has no problem. Send to your SD card and install it...

Thanks for your advice, I can install the ROM finally. But I am going to add a new thread, about errors I have faced using that ROM. I can't use camera, Trebuchet launcher. Do you experience those issues?
Just re-download the ROM,it says (bad) means the download is corrupt

It didn't say (bad), every time when I unlock the phone, it appears a pop up, saying Unfortunately, Trebuchet has stopped. I can run any apps as the launcher has stopped. How to solve?
I downloaded the ROM many times with Download Manager, flash three times with TWRP recovery, with successful processes. But still can't solve the FC problem of Trebuchet!! Pls help me!:crying::crying::crying:

OKy guys,
Im having bootloop with a rom called (Slim) flashed the latest version on cwm recovery it keeps loading and loading but nothing happens and before i flashed, I wiped data, cache partition, dalvic cache and system data.
After this i flashed a different type of recovery witch is called (TWRP) the latest version but the same story -_- bootloop and then i flashed another rom with this recovery but this a cm ROm and still the same (bootloop).
even if i want to go back to my official stock rom its not possible to download the official rom from this source http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7105
would somene be so kind and me help out of this mess

the download speed is just so sloww i mean 9 hours that doesnt make sense right ?
i also tried this web today http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and the average download speed was around 50 min but somewhere at the end of the download when there is like 1 min left the download fails to complete.
realy frustrating, if somene could download it for me and put it in google drive mayby that would work for me.

Its oky bro,
But I managaed to download a different stock firmware, this one (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/33476/N7105XXUFNE3_N7105HTSFNF1_HTS.zip/)
i flashed through Odin and everything went oky i mean i got the green pass on Odin after i flashed the stock rom, however after it rebooted it stock on the samsung screen, Again bootloop i guess -_-

nvm i fixed the problem ^^, i went to recovery did wipe cache partition and factory reset and it worked
