[Q] Any way to undelete?

hi i had pictures on my phone that i realy wanted to keep, an like an idiot i delted them from google plus album thinking it would just delete from instant upload album, but it deleted them from my phone. so does anyone know of a way to undelete, any software?

Same happened to me. You can try programs restoring files but you have to connect the phone to the computer and take it from there. PS none worked for me. I hope you have a better chance.

[APP][PORT] Galaxy S4 Optical reader app for SIII

hi all mates. i tried port galaxy s4 optical reader app for our Galaxy SIII. it's working but with a little bug. if you want it download files and copy your phone.
Instructions;
1. download file in mediafire
2. unzip with winrar or winzip
3. copy 'photoreader' folder to root of your phone.
4. copy 'system' folder to root
after copied all files set permissions;
for all folders; rwx rx rx
for all files; rw r r
Now reboot your phone and enjoy.
Note: some files from henrylife's rom and some files from my friend's S4. thanks to them.
Known bug: force closing in image load from gallery (maybe some developer can help us).

use x-plore file manager and tap file than choose permissions. read write execute , read execute , read execute. hope i was help for you.

hey dude! thanks for your work i downloaded the ocr in s4 to s3 its running fine no force closing but it isnt recognising anything when i point on some text it just keeps quite
even i capture it it says no information found! pls help me dude

No optical reader
I have given permission to all folders and all the files inside the folders and still i dont get the optical reader when i reboot

what do you mean? "root of your phone'? do you mean the 'root' folder? or what?

Do any of you would be so kind as to prepare a zip file to flash via recovery? Granting single files is much pain.

When you say put it on the "root of you phone" are you saying put it in "/" or do you put on the root of the internal sdcard?

you can try this feature on glance rom for now

Yes I Do It, fully working!
First step, download this complete package from another thread on xda:

Unzip it, and simply copy/paste the folders on /system...
I mean the internal memory of the phone, nor the sdCard, neither the extSdCard - how to say...
in italian /dispositivo if you use esExplorer, or home if you use Root Browser
So, open Optical Reader folder, and copy/paste photoreader folder in /system - again open Optical Reader folder/lib select all copy/paste to /system/lib (must be 11 files) - last step open Optical Reader folder/app select all copy/paste to /system/app
Almost done, now reboot to recovery and wipe cache and then Dalvik - reboot and enjoy!
NO NEED TO SET PERMISSION OF NONE, the app didn't work previosly, for lacking some library, and the diction.apk
You probably need the Samsung store installed to get new library for the translation.
I get the app working on Imperium 24.0 Rom...

Samsung Keyboard

Hi Guys!
I own a Galaxy Grand GT-I9082 phone and a Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 Tablet, and i was wondering if i can make my Grand's Keyboard to look "white" like the one on the N8000! i really like the white\light keyboard of my Note, so i was asking if i can Port it or mod or whatever i can do to make my Grand's keyboard look white.

Can you try extract the Samsung Keyboard apk for your Note and put onto your phone? Try and see first.
*Backup your phone original Samsung Keyboard apk before you proceed.

I'll try to extract my N8000's stock ROM to find the default default keyboard's apk file and try to install it.

But, how to do this??

First download es explorer from play store then install it..open it..go to device/system/app/Samsung keyboard.... then copy it to your external storage..and sent it via bluetooth to grand..den install it..I hope it will works..

You can't install it. Surely you will get an error. Just overwrite it in /system/app/, set permissions and then reboot your phone. Let me know if it works.

Set as picture.

Method told above should work over writing in system wid proper permissions if not try SwiftKey it has got various themes and is mre efficient and faster than Samsung keyboards

Do you have any galaxy devices with SNote or SMemo on it? If so use Titanium Backup to backup the apk from the phone or w.e device u have n then put the files on your GT3 10.1 SD card and re-install with Titanium backup. If I confused you or you need any help dont hesitate to respond and ask. Ill help you out or make a step by step video for you or w.e. N if you dont have a device with SNote or SMemo let me know. Ill rip them off my Note 3 and upload em for you.

Yes, I have Samsung Galaxy Grand. It has Smemo only . It's rooted and I have titanium backup installed on it. I have titanium backup on my tab also . So what I have to do first ?
I have to backup Smemo from my grand and then copy the contents from grand's titanium backup folder and paste it into my tab titanium backup folder and open titanium backup app on my tab and intall it ? Or there is another way ? Please provide Snote as I don't have it .

I have tried it but titanium backup is only showing restoring and restoring . Nothing happens . It is stuck . I h've left it for about 10 mins. but nothing happened . It is only showing restoring .

SMemo can be downloaded from this site and install it as simple app. It worked on my P5200.

Snote can be downloaded from the below site. Put it at System/apps folder. It looks as everything goes okay but when you try to open e new note the application closes. This happens on P5200. You might be luckier with your tablet. Maybe you have found already a solution. In case yes, please let me know because I am still without solution for SNote which I really love considering how it works on my Note 2 phone

[Q] Problem with opening apk files in KitKat 4.4.4

Hi,I am pretty new to android devices but I recently upgraded the firmware on my Samsung Galaxy tab 2 GT P5110 with success but I find that I cannot open file that are both downloaded via google play store etc! and files off the sdcard 1 .
I have used both the following rom's both with the same results "cm-11-20140622-NIGHTLY-p5110" and "omni-4.4.4-20140621-p5110-NIGHTLY"
In conjuction with "pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20140217-signed"
As I cannot in any way install any apps or apk files any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to settings then click security then place a check mark on unknown sources . see if that works
