NOTE: Only for CM7 Rom ( and Insanity). Not tested on MIUI and won't work on pure AOSP or Samsung Rom's.
Initially I did this mod for my I9000. Now I have a I9100 and did the mod for CM7 based rom ( CM7.1/Insanity/CM nightlies). Flashing Custom_Label_1.0 in CWM recovery will give you an additional option under Cyanogenmod/Insanity Settings where you can enter whatever you want to show up on your lockscreen and notification bar. To restore original flash Restore_1.0 . Lockscreen takes effect immediately. Use notification restart apk from market to restart notification bar or reboot to take effect. Works on the latest nightly and Insanity 54/55. If you like this mod, hit the thanks button. Cheers.

Is there a way to request adding this to the Insanity for the next versions? I really like it but it goes away if you flash a new version of Insanity and you don't get the new insanity settings if you flash this one back on top..! (I think!)

Should be able to just flash the .zip again.
Not updated to newest insanity yet as haven't had the time.

I came across this in the I9100 forums . It's the most simplest way I have found to customize your phone without flashing a specific mod for a specific rom, it's called tweakbox. It works on all stock Samsung ics based Roms .Please ensure you read All WARNINGS and INSTRUCTIONS through, and even though this is not my work, I'll be willing to help some of you out . I've gotten all but 1mod to work, Crt animation ,and I have contacted the owner of tweakbox and he will look into it ... here's the link with his permission.

EDIT: I've re-written this entire post because it got a bit messy and I don't think I explained things very well! Plus I messed up and uploaded the file as an APK and not a ZIP!
I've re-wiped my phone completely because I managed to get it into a muddle! I fully flashed ARHD30.0 & InsertCoin 3.0.5 and I was still getting gapps FC messages and apparently it's a known / common thing so I wiped the SD and everything, allowed Sense to have G+ access and now it's playing nice again! This was without even flashing my MOD! So something went squiffy!
Anyway:
This MOD has been tested on InsertCoin 3.0.5 which is based on the 3.57.401.500 ROM so it may work on other ROMs as well but I can't be certain. I did try this on ARHD30.0 and for some reason when I pressed the torch option it didn't work. Nothing seemed to happen. It could be because /system isn't mounted as RW or the flashlight APK is different or there's a file deny permission to the location where it writes the LED brightness to, I'm not sure yet but will see what it is if I get chance. It works fine on InsertCoin 3.0.5.
All you need to do is download the zip, flash it in recovery and then reboot your phone back into Sense 5.5 for the torch icon to appear and work.
When you pull down the notification tab there's a torch icon next to the quick settings button. You can tap this up to 3 times to increase the flash brightness levels. Pressing a 4th time will turn the torch off again.
I preferred this method because it doesn't just call the HTC Torch application, it actually does control the torch on and off.
I usually run ViperOne but I'm waiting for their sense 5.5 update so decided to throw this together as I like a lockscreen torch type thing!
Usual disclaimer applies, I'm not responsible for boot-looping your phone so please flash at your own risk and make a nandroid before you do!
Please remember to thank me if you think this is any good / you use it! I may change the icon / spacing as I'm not 100% sure I like it at the moment.

I can confirm that the MD5 for SystemUI.apk on InsertCoin 3.0.5 is a match to 3.0.4 so this MOD should work fine on the newest version also. Feedback is appreciated to let me know if it worked alright for you or not!?
Any suggestions or different torch icons / logos are appreciated too if anyone has a better icon to use!

Sorry to hear it didn't work. It must only work on pure Sense 5.5 based ROMs and not AOSP / Hybrid type ones. Thanks for trying and hopefully you have a backup to go back to?
If not you can copy out the SystemUI.apk from your ARHD GE ROM and put it in the zip file from this thread (overwrite mine that's in there) and re-flash and you will have your old one back.

Not sure if anyone is bothered for this but I've updated the style shown in the screenshots in this post. I can provide APK's for ROMs with this mod included and I know why it didn't work on ARHD and possibly stock ROMs etc. You need the following to be run in an init.d script:
chmod 666 /sys/class/leds/flashlight/brightness
I knew it was a permission issue somewhere but didn't look into it till it didn't work on Viper so I wanted to fix it!
Anyway, if anyone is interested post here, and I'll see what I can do. If you want it with the ROMs battery percentage or mine then let me know!
i have seen a vid of the nexus 4 rom called gnome rom its very cool indeed i hope our nexus can have it too! im now on a stock deodexed 4.3 rom and i have installed xposed installer and xposed tweak i ticked the skip song using volume button on screen off, rebooted my phone still it has no effects.. and anyone knows how can i install the mod that disables my mobile data when my screen is off like the one on Dirty unicorn rom for our gnex ^^

You should use this recovery [ancora][Galaxy W][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch
And use wipe & format > clean to install a new rom
Then install the rom
Music stuttering
Thank you for this ROM, Iwas able to installed it w/o problem. However, I experience music stuttering when a message coming in or activating another app during music listening. Any way for rectifying this please?

- custom wallpaper can not fit with screen (scrollable) it can't be Lockmode
i know this isn't a big problem. I can fix it by using launcher app. but it sucks my ram so much. and if i use it, the icons become low quality (if i use my stock rom. although i use launcher app, the icons is still in HD)
please fix it. I think it's just the one step to make your rom looks perfect.
