I have a strange problem: Exactly every second call the recipient can not hear what I say. Can anyone help?

I can't comment on the problem, except to say that it seriously reminds me of a Monty Python skit. (10 points if anyone can guess the skit.)
I'm on CM10.1, and as long as I don't use BT, it's fine.

As the title says, starting a phone call causes my connection to drop from 4G to 3G. It is restored as soon as the call ends. I'm currently using the Liquidsmooth ROM, and since I can't remember whether stock did this as well I can't tell if it's an issue with the ROM or if that's just standard GS3 behavior.

I'm not sure if it is or not but it's better on your battery anyway and data really doesn't matter during calls.

Look at post 3625 in the Q&A thread for task's ROM...pretty good explanation about why you're seeing that issue.
sent from my SGS III on whatever ROM I might be running at the moment...
Hello everyone,
A quick question I'd like to pose to everyone about Android 4.2.2 Roms out there. Is anyone else having this issue, does anyone know what may be causing this issue?
I have flashed a couple 4.2.2 roms (jellybam and liquid smooth) and I have tried two visual voicemail programs. An apk of the normal sprint visual voicemail (worked with liquid smooth 4.2.1). And Google voice. Each for whatever reason will only use speakerphone for output. Both programs I have went into the settings to make triple sure that the normal ear speaker is selected as default. And even when toggling while playing a voicemail, the output doesn't change. I don't see anything in the phone settings relating to this issue.
Any ideas comments or questions for me?
Thank you!

can you post where you got the sprint voicmail apk. I'm running LS 4.2.2 stable and would like to install it to test it on my phonel
Look up sprint VVM for cm10 and you'll find it

Happened to have one on drop box. Working fine for me.
Not all ROMs have this issue, but yes, on Google Voice, some ROMs play out through the loudspeaker.
This occurs, for sure, on both $MyName's AOKP and task650's AOKP, as well as a handful of other ones that I've tried. PACMAN does not have the issue, nor does ParanoidAndroid, last I checked.
I've accepted the issue and stuck with AOKP myself.

Nearly everyone gets that. I can't get rid of it for the life of me and I've tried every method out there. If you do some research you'll find a bunch of methods and hopefully one will work for you

yeah I've done that I've also done that method where you send a voicemail message to [email protected] and apparently that gets rid of it for some people but nothing worked for me sadly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I just learned to deal with it honestly it's not the worst thing in the world

Just download a program that blocks txt messages and block the number. Problem solved solved
Liquidsmooth 4.2.2
You might not have to wait that long to get the official 4.2.x ROM. Multi-view is coming in next update (credit to sextape).

Hi... I installed the following rom on my glide (cm-10.1-20130217-UNOFFICIAL-i927) and everything is working fine but i have one issue; when I make a call through voice over IP softwares such as (Viber, Skype, Tango... etc) the voice is very strange, thick and slow... please help if anyone have a solution for this
btw thought its from the internet connection but I tried many internet sources from many ISPs... same issue, so the problem is not from the internet quality...its from the rom

Hi everybody, i am wondering if there is other people who has the same issue like me. When somebody call me during when i already have a call, the person who tries to call me gets the message as the phone is closed or not in area. I tried with the same phone on bluetooth headphones and call waiting works very well, only when i am conected to the bt of this chinese player it does not. So, my question is if is there others who solved this problem or not. Thank you
so nobody has experienced this issue yet?
I'll test it out tomorrow and see what happens. I believe there is an option in factory settings called 3 way calling. I think this option could enable that feature.

The three-way calling option does not exist in older version MCUs. You need to update.
