SOLVED: I've forgot to give right permission.
Tried but i have only a sparkling android text. No spark logo or animation.
Any idea?

Got the PowerOn file, it's awesome! However i can't enable the custom boot animations cuz there's now cwm recovery available for the beam yet...any suggestions?

bootanimation works but still no sound (poweron.ogg)
I'm on latest slimbean 4.2.2 + latest yank.555 kernel.
any ideas folks..?

Maybe boot sound disabled by your ROM or kernel , ask the dev if this is true.

If you have a nandroid backup restore it... some app , mod or tweak you installed after this must have caused the problem. If it worked once... then there can't be a problem with the boot animation.

What resolution is this ? 480 X 800 ?
........... just wondering, is it possible to you to have the boot+sound in a cwm flasning file???
(im just to oooooo ooo n00b to give/fix permissions) and i had a semibrick yesterday (still, i fixed it!!!!! it took me 3 hours )

Stock moto E bootanimation
Installation steps:
1-Take a backup of stock boot animation,for this go to /system/media in rooted directory.Rename the bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak (recommended).:good:
2-Put the new boot animation file in the same folder and rename it to bootanimation.zip
3-Change the permission of the file to rw-r-r
Done.:good:
reboot the phone
Enjoy
Tested by me on all CM12.1, CM13, AOSP LP and AOSP MM so no problem.[emoji23]

I tried the original Bootanimation Moto E by the method of putting it in /system/media and all OK.
IMy ROM is Temasek.

Boot Animation - How To :
1. Change the file name to bootanimation.zip
2. Back up your existing bootanimation file by renaming it to bootanimation.bak (in case you decide to revert back to the old boot animation)
3. Using root explorer, push it to /system/media
4. Set permission to 644 or rw-r-r
5.Reboot and enjoy

I guess that won't work on nexus 4 bro. That's a 1440*240 boot animation. Did u try that for yourself on nexus 4?
