Hello,
This is my first device with a Super AMOLED screen. I'm coming from an iPhone 5 and a LG Optimus G, both of which have LCD screens. On this phone, my Samsung Galaxy S4, certain shades of gray are grainy and streaky. Is this normal?

That is it, but sideways. The streaks are horizontal in the pic, but actually vertical in person.

Could just be the quality of whatever you're viewing that's causing the streaks.

I noticed it too. My galaxy nexus (samoled) was grainy like this phone. Except, this phone is barely noticible.

In my experience this is normal for an oled but only to a certain degree. That degree depends on the user and the differences between panels. I'd suggest going to store and comparing to other gs4 to see if it it's something you want to pursue in exchanging.

Sure you can. Overclock it to 2ghz then grab the hot dog machine app from play store. Install and then reboot. When it comes up you should see a hot dog cart. Click it and let the fun begin
