OnePlus 3T hangs, glitches, and has camera malfunctions

Hi! I updated to the latest version of OxygenOS last month, and I've been having various problems with my phone. For instance, my OnePlus 3T has glitches and hangs after sufficient use. After a couple hours of use, the phone's camera stops working and various apps will have problems: Chrome won't open new pages and UI elements are glitched, the Camera won't work, apps like Messenger won't load new messages, various elements within the apps are glitched, etc.
Sometimes, the whole screen goes black but the phone is still running. I can touch the capacitive keys (e.g back, home button, etc) but the screen remains black. It eventually restarts on its own.
Restarting the phone fixes the problem temporarily, but the problem comes back after some use.
I've connected my phone to my computer and ran `adb logcat` to diagnose these problems.

Save what you want on a laptop/pc. You can scan them for viruses, on laptop/pc anti-virus, for safety.
Format the whole phone in Twrp or ADB. This will erase All in the phone.
Now you have a clean, empty phone. Install the latest Official OnePlus rom (v.4.1.3).
Copy back youre stuff.
If it's still not ok go back to 4.1.1 or 4.1.0 version.

One specific app is totally blocked from going online on 4.4.4

Tried it on android lollipop and it works just fine on it, but for some reason on 4.4.4 it can't login as if it's something hard coded into the rom that blocks it, does anybody know what it could be? i've tried deleting hosts so thats not it.

I did but it's out of the scope of my knowledge on how to decipher the logs and determine exactly what the culprit might be.
I also tried logging in on another device and then make a luckypatcher/titanium backup of it and then restore it on 4.4.4 and it just doesn't want to start logged in.

It might be because of api issues, been a while since I modded an apk for that reason.
I suggest you to filter out logs by errors (see here ) to catch any known one, and then search for it on the web. You could also try an older version of the app (if you can) or try to lower api requirements by modifying the android manifest of the apk

Even old versions of the app does this so I guess there's something wrong in the rom itself.

I can't see any valuable info sadly, I'm not experienced in this matter however.
KitKat is very old and it most likely is an error related to unsupported api or (maybe) permissions. Try giving it all permissions and see if it starts then

Think I found the problem https://stackoverflow.com/a/48218876 so it's probably impossible to get rosetta to work on this rom since it doesn't have the SSL/HTTPS stuff that the app needs.

If the issue is due to outdated api, nothing much you can do except download an early version of the app (which does not seem possible in your case), so, yeah, your best bet would be to upgrade your android version
The Play is way too old to be considered a daily driver tho, so it is to be expected

com.android.statementservice regularly crashing on LineageOS for microg

Hi,
I have just installed LineageOS for microg 19 (19-20220522-microg-bramble) on my Pixel 4a 5g and I am receiving a regular popup every few minutes saying that "Intent Filter Verification Service has stopped".
From what I have read this is used to call another application on the phone (based on what type of thing needs to be handled)??
The logs I am getting with logcat do not seem to lead me towards anything (see below from two examples). I'm not sure if anyone has any suggestions on what could be causing this or where else I can look??
My suspicion is that this is something to do with not having the google apps (using microg instead) but not sure. I did find one other mention of it here, but no solution
Note: I did have LineageOS for microg 18 installed previously which did not exhibit this behaviour...

Sorry I don't have a solution for you but since you are using LineageOS+microG on a Pixel phone, you might be interested in switching to CalyxOS as they seem to already have a workaround in place even though the bug isn't fixed yet.

As a bonus, with CalyxOS you also get better security than just LineageOS+microG thanks to bootloader relocking.

I am suffered by that bug too. I can't see any harm by this, but it is annoying. The patch in CalyxOS is just to hide that problem as a workaround.

Please report there all your findings @maloo1 and @johnfocker

So I ended up following @johnfocker's suggestion and installed CalyxOS (android 12) and it does "fix" the issue.
I guess Calyx is a perfect fit for my needs anyway (microg, locked boot loader, great polished daily driver) so Ill probably stick with it unless I end up with a phone that is not supported.
It would make sense to have it fixed in microg thou if thats the root cause... I'll see what I can add to the bug...

Very strange. The messages disappear to pop up after some time.
Lately I installe the new Magisk 25 and BetterBatteryStats (XDA) and it appears again - althoug I am not sure that was really reason. There is continiously changes in phone, so difficult to nail it down.

Hello to all. Turned to LineageOS 20 on the Samsung galaxy tab A8 (2021) and have a problem with the Zwift app - installed fromm google store but at the start it shows error "Data Validation Failed"
