[Q] Email app formatting problem

Hi
I use my rooted Epic 4G with my work Exchange account. Every time I send a message, it looks like an HTML bomb hit it: when you look at the message using Outlook it is full of HTML <br> characters, and the details of the message that I replied to are mixed into my signature.
Can anyone recommend an alternative e-mail app for the Epic 4G that still works with Exchange push e-mail and contacts, or perhaps a setting I can change in the normal e-mail app that will solve the problem?
My e-mail program is version 2.2.1 (from the wonderful ACS 1.1.0 ROM).

I have 2.3.4.1 from midNight ROM v5.2. Attached here. Try that one and see how it works for you.
Thanks, I will try that. Backup first
The Email app should support HTML email just fine - your Exchange server might be poorly configured. Give K9 Mail a try.

[Q] Email: Red or Yellow Envelope?

Hi all,
I've been looking for a clear answer(s) all over and haven't had any luck. I hope one of you can help!
1. What is the difference between the "red envelope" stock email app and the "yellow envelope" stock email app?
2. Is the stock email app on the Galaxy S3 a Samsung app and not the stock Android app?
3. Is that the difference between the red and yellow envelopes? Red=Samsung; Yellow=Android?
It's been really frustrating to sort this all out, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

To help answer your questions:
There are 2 'stock' email apps if I remember correctly. One should be the android Email application which is capable of POP, IMAP and Exchange and the other should be the Samsung one. (I'm not entirely sure, I'm no longer on stock touchwiz 4.3)
If you longpress on the app and go to application info, you should be able to decipher by the package name whether it is Google or Samsung's app because their package info should be different.

Use CM email client instead of stock email client?

Hi there,
I am using stock ROM of LG, and will stick with it.
One problem for me is the email client support only 30 days email synchronization for exchange. I want unlimited because I am a heavy email user.
I know that email client from CM ROMs support unlimited email sync. How can I install the CM's mail client?
I tried using email and exchange apk from default CM10 ROM but cannot install exchange apk. I can only install email apk. But I need Exchange.
Can someone pls help me. Thanks,
Oops, I managed to get the work done.
For anyone who have problem like me, follow this link: email client from official Kitkat, and exchange also (see 1st comment in the link)
