[Q] What location S-Health data saved - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I need to copy and restore it in my new phone.
What location I should look for the S-Health data?

Use Nandroid backup to back and restore s-health data

Backup S Health then restore to New device
Update your S Health to the latest (21st April 2014) and you will get the option to back up on Cloud all your S Health details.
On your new device simply Restore the data when you log in with the same account.

Well, I suggest to use NanDroid Backup to backup everything to SDCard. Nandroid also backup android settings/ apps, so I suggest do this backup only if you're going use same Android version as you currently on.
Otherwise I sugg you to do only User's Apps/Data/settings backup.
Hi,
Please don't use a nandroid backup from a different device to a new one. That can cause many issues, including destroying your new phone if you restore system or EFS by accident.
Try titanium backup maybe for User apps only... no system apps. Or again, might be serious issues.
If you saved contacts to your Google account, they will be on your new device the minute you log into your Google account during setup of the new phone.
If any other apps don't restore data properly, that's just something you'll have to live with. ?

Titanium Backup Pro Not Recognizing Backup Files

I recently had to wipe CM14 since it was buggy. I went back to CM13 but I lost all my apps. I installed TB Pro and I want to do a full restore of all my apps and data. I found the right directory in the preferences but TB is not listing the apps for which I have a backup. The backup files are encrypted. I also have a copy saved to a cloud storage service but the 2.5gb of data is always on my phone.
I can't figure out how to restore to the same phone with the same OS and the same device ID. Help!
RESOLVED. I had a filter selected! Duh....

Looking for apps that can do a full backup and restore on an unrooted phone

I'm new here I'm looking for apps that can do a full backup and restore of all of my apps, contacts, bookmarks and all other data. My Phone is unrooted and for now I want to keep it that way for now. Or a way to return it to Its unrooted condition. I'm new at this. I have read that titanium is good but it has to a rooted phone.
Contacts are backed up to your Google account automatically if you choose Google instead of local for contacts location. Photos are backed up in Google photos. For apps, try helium. Needs a PC. But most apps get data back with a simple login. Bookmarks are stored automatically if you use chrome, and return automatically when you login.

OnePlus Switch vs Google backup+restore

I have googled this but not getting a clear answer so hoping someone here can confirm.
I am switching from a OnePlus7T to a Nord and I was just wondering what the best option is for transferring my apps and content etc from 7T to Nord.
Last time I went from OP6 to OP7T I did the google restore on the 7T and then also ran the Switch app.
But I ended with lots of duplicate stuff like contacts and other stuff (can't remember what else was duplicated)
So, should I just install Switch onto the Nord - but don't Google Restore and then just run Switch? Will that do everything?
Or is there a better approach?
With my previous non OnePlus phones I would just use Google and some other SMS + Call History restore app and then do other stuff manually.
Thanks.
Hi harryw66, i think the switch app is the better solution as Google Backup doesn't backup everything.
Thanks - I received the phone earlier today and went the Google router - seems to have backed up most stuff - but not my folders etc - so guess I will have to do them manually - just need to be sure the other stuff does not get duplicated...

I use..
- SMS Backup & Restore by Sync Tech to backup messages and call logs and it never failed since first use many years ago. Also it has Google Drive backup, auto delete old messages in drive,.. etc.
- SMS organizer by Microsoft as SMS app. It is the best SMS app I used and still using, though it failed a couple of times in backing up the SMSs.
- Titanium Backup to backup all my apps with data daily.
- SyncMe Wireless by bvaisoft for backing up my entire phone contents to my PC after midnight, daily, including Titanium Backup data.
- To clear the storage space taken by Titanium Backup, the Tasker will delete all these contents at early morning.
I've been using these settings for years, though restoring about half number of apps' data didn't work well with Titanium Backup with 7T. So I used OnePlus switch to copy these apps, but without their data.
Thanks - yes I ended up using SMS Backup & Restore by Sync Tech to backup from old phone and restore onto the Nord.
I used to use SMS Backup+ from Jan Berkel with great sucess in the past - but this seems to be broken now due to Google auth changes...
Cheers.
Quick way to back up. If only we could direct this to an OTG?

Into "Switch" app there is an option to do a local backup.
Once done, copy that file to a pendrive.

I use Titanium Backup, and my files go directly to the OTG. Just how much better of a backup is the one plus switch? Can you incrementally restore apps and data?

Sorry, I use Google's backup
OnePlus Switch doesn't backup everything. It didnt back up files in Downloads or documents, unless it was an image, or video.
App Data is random. Works for some apps but not for all.

could not restore backup with samsung account

Hello,
I'm trying to restore my backed up data after a factory reset, it restored everything successfully except all backed up apps and the documents. When it attempts to restore those, it gives me an error "Could not restore data. Please try again later.".
Does anyone know anything about this problem or had it themselves?
Really, any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
yui
I use a Samsung Galaxy A50 with Android 10.
format your phone again .. reboot it and set it up with all the Google and Samsung accounts it had.. then go to galaxy store and update Samsung cloud.(updating Samsung cloud is very important) .. then go to setting>accounts and backup> backup and restore> restore data....
remember you cannot restore the data, that you didn't successfully take a back for ....
