[mod] -[ics -keyboard - port]

I take no credit for this port, I found it on the EVO thread somewhere I believe (for the life of me I can't find itagain...lol..so all credit goes to them)
Works great though!!! I personally like multitouch.
Though I'm not a dev I'll say it anyways - I'm not responsible if this destroys your phone! An have no idea if this messes up the stock GB keyboard if you already have it installed. There.
Instal:
-Push LatinIME_2.1.apk into /system/app
-Fix permissions as usual (like everything else in there)
-FROM THE APK - Extract lib/armeabi-V7a/"libjni_latinime.so" and push/paste into /system/lib
-REBOOT

I agree...it's a little short lol...not bad though. Someone might like it smaller. Maybe one of themers might be able to scale it up...

Dude you're right! Where I got it from it said port...didn't realize it was just themed lol, after reading a little looks like several people thought the same thing...oh well. Thanks for pointing it out though.

I tested it on ics and it works

Working pretty well on Aokp 7-15, but a it force closes when I try make a note to my self with it, not really a problem for me I don't really use that feature.

Does audio search work?

I haven't flashed it yet, but I'm assuming the "With Voice" part of the title probably means audio search is working...

Yup its fully working just add the widget to your homescreen and use the widget

cool don't really use voice features, but its something cool to show off since it has such great voice recognition.

Working perfectly for me on AOKP 7-15, darkside venom 05 kernel. Even tried setting reminders and they worked, except not for another day. Replied: "sorry alarms and reminders only support times of day, but not dates." Not a big deal. Love everything else about it. Much appreciated!

Oops nevermind. Gotta push the search key or just add the search Widgets.

Just add the normal quick search bar widget and hit the microphone. It might ask you to select which program you would like to use, select Google (not voice search)

So, I hope I'm doing something wrong. The Google search function seems to work. Like facts and stuff. I have the cards. However when I ask it to do something like Set a reminder, it will say "setting reminder" but then nothing ever happens. No alarms reminders etc. Any thoughts? Im on Darkside Evolution v8. TW Rom.

I partially agree.. It's nice sometimes, but other times I wish I could disable it!
Maybe a option to disable on select contacts, or an enable/disable button, that would be perfect for me.

How is it sharing warez? I didnt know it was a paid apk. So then the whole of xda should be shut down shouldnt it. When we first seen jelly bean @ google io, users posted a system dump on here before it was out. So thats warez to right? Hmmmm

Developers are working hard on this. We are close. The rom I use has it ported and it only works to switch apps but multiview is still pending.
Freeza is s great developer who might figure this out before anyone does. Keep a look out for his rom

There is a how to port multi view to the s2 that requires recompiling files and recompiling them into the system not sure if that will work for us too.

[MOD][APP] Secmms

I originally posted this in the jedi master thread. I have only tested on this rom but it should work for others. There may be others who have usee these same mods but i wanted to try myself. I also needed to be able to send mass texts to more than 10 people and stock did not provide this. so I used this guide*http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2172543 mod the sms app. every mod listed in the guide is included. but I will post this so anyone can use it.*hopefully someone smarter than me can fix some of the bugs with this.

Doesnt theme properly
Group messaging is flaky: adding more than 10 contacts cannot use the group tab you have to use the individual tab, pictures wont send to over 10 people, always sends as anonymous when using group tab

Im not sure and they are not really new but I modded mine on 5/7 and he updated his thread on 5/27. So I just started from scratch
