Here you can reports all your problems of the Quarx's CM10 that you have (not Epsylon's one sorry).
I think that this thread will be easier for him than look for all reports spreaded in the many pages of his thread
Before adding your problem(s) :
- Be sure to use the latest version of CM10 ! (check here)
- Be sure that your report is not in the 2 lists bellow.
Take a look here if you wanna know how to install the ROM, and few things like that.. : FAQ, FAQ 2 :good:
Problems list:
#X = Confirmed
#1: am/pm not displayed on the lock screen.
#2: Developer options go back to default after reboot.
#3: Unlock Screen with Volume-Buttons doesn't always work while playing music.
#4: Defy ROM Updater shows older builds ( builds before 2nd boot builds).
#5: Not rebooting into recovery
#6: Battery only charges up to 85% on MB525
#7: Settings is crashing when loading and saving default screen dim levels. (Settings > Display > Automatic Backlight > Use Custom > Edit Other Level > Load defaults > Save & Apply),
#8: Phone only vibrates for a second when receiving calls.

Seriously it would be better organized here, this thread would be only to report problems/bugs, and Quarx's post to speak about all the other things concerning the ROM
So:
- The buttons backlight is working if you set in display/automatic backlight the correct values and settings. At least for defy+.
- compass is not working
- the ascending ringtone is working only one time.

Settings for buttons backlight
Avi files are not supported in stock gallery video player on CM10?
Also some applications that play live TV not working, for example tn.apk (hd tv)

the preview and final snap is different in 4mp wide camera mode for all d builds.it gets cropped in d final pic.
- UPNP players does not find DNLA servers
- usb debugging starts after reboot, even if disabled (setting not saved)

- please add a checkbox for "config_enableLockBeforeUnlockScreen" (framework-res/res/values/bools.xml)

Hy, I have a problem with the LED notification since CM9, it blinks, in other words flashes, when I get sms or anything else, regardless of the option that is "Always On", it is really annoying for me.
And I think that the new LED notification color picker is a s**k, because I can't pick clean green colour, but a red one...
The way of picking color in CM7 is far better, imho.
I use the latest, 25/08 QCMX.

About Logcat apps,
App developers need to update their apps to support Jelly Bean ,
So it's not a bug.
Quick system info works perfect for logs.

I feel sorry that you did not understand me. It is my bad. I try to write down my problem by other words.
So, Settings, Display, Notification light, -> Selected
Below it, there is a menu, called Default (when you enter it, its name is Edit light settings).
So, in this menu I set the notification color (red) and pulse lenght and speed (Always on).
Unfortunately, it (notification led) does not work correctly because it blinks red.
I have asked several people, but they said that their notification worked correctly.
Otherwise, It works correctly on CM7.
I hope You can understand me.

2) Updated to 25/08 caused Play Store to disappear
3) Flashing GAPPs after updating causing persistent search bar in Trebuchet to disappear (may be CM Trebuchet issue)
4) On reboot Airplane Mode must be toggled to regain signal (I believe this has been noted previously)
5) Swiping to Camera Shortcut on Lock Screen opens camera but does not unlock phone

please put only confirmed bugs in the OP. there are lots of bugs which are caused by a specific, non-stock app, thus its not the roms fault. if at least one other member can confirm the bug, then its a bug of the rom.

I wrote in the OP if users could confirm reports, then I'll add something like [Confirmed] in the problems/bugs list .

#13 and #14 are the same thing.
It does not matter the color of the LED.
The problem is the fact that it blinks regardless of the option that is "Always on".
So it is confirmed, on the one hand by me and on the other hand by Qwertyuiop23.
Impressions:
-1080p camera still laggy
-No Stamina Mode
-Extremely Smooth
-No Wifi drop (So far)
Overall, it's a very good update, other than the 1080p lag.

Try using Super Beam available in Play Store. It supports NFC too
well thanks for the video, in the camera i dont have the icon that you have the yello/golden coloured one.. i guess its for HDR which i had in the cybershot mod...
guess there are some features that some others dont have with the update..
i really loved the way camera improved, its really good now. superb shots in low light and well faster focus and better colour.
what i didnt like is that we dont have bravia engine2 and stamina mode nor screen mirroring..
y screen mirroring is not there???
k..so, no stamina, no photoburst, no hdr, no wifidirect nor other cool feature we can see in many other (sony and not)devices.
I'm really missing just small apps, that's it, but I'll stick with pac, for the moment.
Let the chef bake some candies, and then we'll come back to simil-stock. maybe.

Good news, everyone! CM 11 is running
So far, everything except ANT+ seems to be working, but I couldn't test all of it. So you be the judge. If you have any problems, fix them. Help each other, I might even try to help, but I don't have the time to fully maintain this build. Device trees and everything needed to build this will come shortly and I'm sure someone capable will take over maintenance, soon!
As with every CyanogenMod rom, you will need an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery. Gapps are not included.
I am not responsible for any bricking or data loss or whatsoever!

This rom has nothing to do with stock.. Apart from a couple of proprietary firmware files.
I'm testing the rom and will report back as soon as I find anything interesting. I'm really excited!

Animations run very slowly. I've disabled them for the time being.
I've had some issues waking from sleep. Will try to isolate.
The camera launches very slowly, but this is also the case on the Z1 CM11 build.

I've found the following issues so far:
Proximity sensor does not work (ANT+ related, I assume)
Photosphere does not show up at all, no matter what camera version you install. I have a 4.3 camera whose Photosphere worked fine on the stock rom. I tested others and none worked on CM 11
Yes, animations/transitions are slow in certain situations, but not always
I'm not sure the battery level is being measured correctly. Either this thing is amazingly more optimized or the reading is wrong. I'll be able to test that fully tomorrow when I start the day with a full charge
I'm really glad this came out. These issues are not gonna stop me from using the crap out of this rom! Thank you, OP and other contributors! :good:

Yeah they do some times for me, too. OpenGL etc are working perfectly, no idea why that happens so far. It's smooth most of the time though. Will try to debug
Never had that, could you try to replicate that error and produce logs?
It launched very slowly the first time, for me, too. But now its almost instantaneously

Isn't Photosphere a Nexus exclusive feature? I always thought so. But then, I only used Nexus devices in the past..
Transitions, yeah, what I wrote earlier
For now, battery seems normal for me, it has been pretty amazing on stock, too. But I haven't gotten this ROM running nearly long enough to say if battery life is longer or not.

When I try to install this rom via Phils Recovery, then the installation always cancels with the message: This package is for "D5503, amami, anami" devices, this is a "honami". How can I install CM?

By using CWM recovery or by asking Phil to set the proper product name

Problem solved, I installed wrong Recovery Version from Phil. I installed the version for Z1 instead of Z1C
Playing a little bit around with CM I found some things out:
1. When I charge my phone with magnetic cable, CM thinks my phone is in docking station. As effect the sound is disabled because the phone tries to route it through the docking station port.
2. In standby, camera app should be startet if camera button is pressed. There is only an option to turn on screen and to unlock phone with camera button. So two clicks on camera button are needed to start camera, which is uncomfortable.
3. On my motorola defy, cyanogenmod supported to save apps on the sd card. Is it possible to include this feature also in this cm version?
And as already mentioned:

1. Well the charging pin should only be used on docks so I think that's normal.
2. Would need some modifications for that probably.
3. Motorola defy has an outdated OS of android... apps on sdcard has been removed since android 4.0 ice cream sandwich.

1. Yeah, originally the magnetic port was just intended for docking stations, so the behaviour is kind of wanted. Not sure if the Z1(c) actually is able to route audio through the port, so maybe this actually should be disabled. There definitely should be a quick fix to make this adjustable at least.
2. Same thing, should be an option for that in the future.
3. Apps2SD is not officially supported anymore. There are hacks afaik, but I won't do and support that.
Slow camera is a known bug, even for the Z1. As for the animations, I have no idea on how to debug them. Benchmarks and games suggest that OpenGL is working just fine. Any ideas anyone?
Perfomance
Using My phone with 4.4.2 for about 2 days,I must say the overall smoothness and fluidity as compared to 4.1.2 has been greatly improved. Stability of the system has been increased, no lag at all.. as far as the benchmarks goes, I have been getting low scores as compared to 4.1.2(samples in attachments)
Battery
You can say that Battery timing has been improved in kitkat, I managed to get almost 4 and a half hour of screen on time whereas on jellybean I usually got maximum 4 hours with the same usage(samples in attachments)
I think that the Camera has also improved..
One more thing Battery Gets charged quickly as compaed to 4.1 with same charger..
I have not yet rooted my phone or installed any thing to save battery and during testing ECO mode was not enabled.

And I also forget to mention that the phone standby has also been improved, I left my phone over night and when I woke up only 1% was lost. I think its great!!:laugh:

please put a screenshot from the laucher. (not drawer) , and from the keyboard. i find the keyboard very ugly.. and the launcher icons (the doc) way to up...
and what theme do you use? because i see changed icons ^^ .

Well more than knock off i was interested in having knock on feature to turn the screen on...because it's a pain to turn the screen on every time by pressing the power button which is oddly located and i am wary of it breaking it sometime due to the constant use...

and what theme do you use? because i see changed icons ^^ .

I think the theme is MoonShine G3 from Lg G2 forum and thanks Will put launcher and keyboard screenshot, you are right the keyboard is kind of ugly..

Can confirm, no 2g only 3g and automatically (4g also i guess, can t test)
Battery is ok, but mp decission is pretty confused, sometimes al 4 cores online without doing anything. Let s hope final build will work as it should.

hmm..aparently if you swipe up at the doc there is some application that let you launch others apps. can you identify in system/app what is her name? maybe if we delete/disable the doc will go down where it belongs..

yes. how can we delete that s**t? maybe the doc will go down if we delete. i mean..i saw in ui ..for example after i made some cleaning in system/app ..that the task manager window went down. (long press home) ... like it should.

1. It's likely that you using camera app that forces continuous autofocus. And as far as I get continuous autofocus tries to refocus on each phone shake. So, try to record a video with less handshake and it shoud be fine.

Try redmextreme ROM no camera issues and best gaming experience. Decent battery backup

I think all the lollipop roms have this problem. CM11 by armani is stable and does not have this issue.
I wouldnt have installed cm12.1 if they have mentioned this in OP. they dont list this as bug. they only mention HDR issue.

It doesn't happen all the time, I think. I'm not sure if it is caused by heat.
Another bug is that wifi will not stay awake when screen is off/sleep mode. Wifi will only come back on when the user wakes the phone.
Yeahhhh Guys !!! That bug is nasty...... dev's Get it corrected plzzzzz on the upcoming update!!:good:
