[Q] root

I AM having troubles with my root.FIRST installed root keepper but it says 4.3 not supported and does not show a button to back up my root. Also it shows deviced rooted without a check mark, root permissions granted has check mark,/system supports root protection check mark, protected su copy available no check mark. Also tried the other root backup keeper with the same results.EVERY TIME I GO INTO RECOVERY IT TELLS ME I HAVE TO FIX ROOT I HIT THE FIX ROOT THING.REBOOT AND HAVE ROOT BUT NOW OF THE ROOT KEEPER PROGRAMS ARE WORKING.Any suggestions would be greatly apprecciated,Cause i am already tired of having to fix my root everytime i go into recovery. This is also happening on my sprint htc one after i ota 4.3.
Use chain fire auto root. Make sure to grab the right file. Ends with 900t or something. There are a couple of threads with all phones supported and their corresponding file.

[Q] Root Lost after 4.1.2 OTA Update What is the Best Practice to restore

I had rooted my SGS3 while on 4.0.4 using the stock Samsung rom and Odin without issue no custom ROMS were installed just root access. Early August of 2013 the OTA for 4.1.2 was rolled out and I had accepted the update which was installed without issue, which apparently should not have been the case (everything I can find says OTAs will fail if you have root access, but this was not the case). I now want to either return to a full stock to get the 4.3.3 update at which point I may remain unrooted, or gain root again and update to 4.3.3 with root. I'm cautious about how to proceed here since I've read about a lot of people bricking their phones while attempting to root after 4.3.3. My primary concern is that my flash counter is tripped at 1, but I don't have root access and am not sure how to proceed with out potentially damaging my phone. So I'm essentially getting the worst of both worlds (unable to receive stock updates from carrier, no root access to update otherwise.) and don't want to be stuck on 4.1.2 for the life of this phone. I still have SuperSU installed, but when I open it it says "There is no SuperSU Binary installed and Super SU cannot install it. This is a problem!"
I have searched these forums and a few related to it, and from what I can gather I should just reroot the phone following instructions for 4.1.2, but if I want to make the jump to 4.3.3 I wasn't clear if this would be needed or not, but none of the threads I could find directly addressed the issue for the ATT SGS3 i747. The closest I found was a thread posted last month where the OP was directed to the CF Root procedures, but there was no followup after that. I'm just a little leery about what might happen if I reroot with another method and end up with duplicate files/.apks etc related to the root process on my phone.
I also wanted to be sure that rerooting using a different method wouldn't somehow damage my phone.
Can someone with some experience please advise of the safest best practice for me to either recover root and update, or remove root and update so I can start fresh later? From what I can gather this should be an easy fix, but I would prefer to rely on the expertise of someone more knowledgable as opposed to winging it on a gut feeling I will be ok.

[Q] Root and Unroot Galaxy Note 2

Hello,
I want to root my Smartphone and later unrooting to recover the warranty.
I have a S.Galaxy Note 2 N7100
I have read several methods here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896696
but
I am not sure about the better method to use in order
to make a quick and safe root and unroot.
I think that the best choice is to root by Kingo Android Root program
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2680664 ,
and later
unroot flashing by Mobile Odin android app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899.
(since Kingo unroot does not recover completaly warranty status)
Or to use the app ExynosAbuse without use Odin,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050297
I have also read other ways as
to use the program Galaxy Note2 Toolkit.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923956
I don't know what is the better choice
maybe root by Kingo and unroot by Mobile Odin, but I am not sure at all
and I am afraid to brick my device.
Please, somebody can tell me what is the easiest, safe and quick way to root & unroot my smartphone?
Thanks a lot,
I hope a reply.

Towelroot question

I have a question about this whole Towelroot thing. If I use it on this new att G3, and an update comes from att, would the phone still be able to accept the ota update?
I'm thinking yes, but just want to confirm.
If you root, you lose OTA updates.
Is there a video showing Towelroot for the G3? And then I think you have to install Superuser somehow?
It is all new to me but I would have to decide about not getting updates afterwards but I may cave and try it anyway if it is straightforward.
Well since this method does not mess with boot loader or recovery I figured you still could.
I'm also new to rooting the G3, but if I understand correctly to be able to receive OTA updates you need to unroot, either via Superuser or the LG PC Suite, both methods will not wipe your device. After updating just reroot again.

Assuming the root is not patched in the OTA

[Q] Towellroot safe?

Greetings,
Is this a safe method to root my G3 international version (32Gb)? Is it temporarly or permantly?
Also, will I still be able to receive OTA updates with this root?
Thanks!

You will most likely need to unroot to take an OTA. I updated with root on my F460S (it shouldn't have let me do it) but that was a fluke. If you need to take an OTA then you will have to use SU to unroot and then update-> root again. Just make sure the new OTA is still rootable. Rooting it's safe if you know what you are doing. I have used IORoot, and StumpRoot without issues.
hmm
Ok and won't my root dissapear if I reboot the device? (with the towellroot method?)
Because, I heard an youtube video, that said you don't need to reboot ur device once you run the apk to root...
It means you dont have to reboot after installing towel root.
It does mean you cant OTA after root generally any method period.
It doesnt mean you cant reboot after towelroot. Root will be there after reboot.
Confusing? Your post too.
please hit thanks if i helped in any way. send from my g3 d852 beast
