How did you brick? I've used two battery mods I made in UOT kitchen... as well as a font change.
The battery mod I used was for the international version.

This is originally for the i9505 but I've flashed it on my SGH-M919 and its working great. No issues so far after 2 days. I just prefer not seeing a black bar at the top.

The lte symbol is not the stock one with that mod. If you guys want this mod with tmo's 4G LTE symbol, I can upload the systemui.apk.

Please upload it! I also just found out that this mod although it works, it is not compatible with other stausbar mods
I can look into fixing it now. I'd also prefer to use the file from our phone to prevent possible issues.

you should just be able to flash a mod to accomplish this. Just make sure it morphs and doesn't replace the whole systemui.apk.

If I use this mod, do I just rename the existing systemui.apk so I have a backup and copy the one
in this link into the same directory/folder as the original then fix permissions and reboot the phone?

Yup. You can try and set the permissions, but it usually reboots by the time I get to it after pasting it

Well it looks like its not going to work for me because my rom is the DBL stock rom which I rooted but it's still odexed.
I already tried the mod (systemui.apk) it and it does not change my status bar at all.
It would be nice to know the best and easiest way to deodex my rom without having to become a developer. LOL

Thanks a lot. So this is a 100 % status bar for our mdl build. Stock everything besides fully transparent status bar? Much appreciated! I assume to just copy and paste in system app. Need that stock 4g symbol

This tutorial is what I would look for to do. You could probably use 7-zip and just rename the right XML?

I noticed when I reboot, it says "Android is upgrading: starting apps", after a little googling, I deleted the SystemUI.odex file, and the msg doesn't show up anymore. Everything seems fine, I'm just wondering if what I did is ok?

It looks like s4's status bar. But what i wanted was a status bar where there is a button on top right of the status bar and pressing that will bring down all the toggles (like in s4's)
