[Mod] 360 Rotation

One thing I have never understood about Android is it never comes with full 360 rotation.
So here is a flashable zip that does just that...If you turn your phone upside down the screen will rotate with you. That is, in apps that rotate.
So this is made to work on CleanROM 2.1 (and that is all I have tested it on) but I don't see why it won't work on other ROM's as all the framework-res are based off the same at this point. BUT any mods made to the framework-res.apk in the ROM you're running will be lost. So ask your dev if they made any changes to the framework-res.apk, or just make a backup and flash away...
If your running a themed ROM like Jelly Bomb then you will most likely lose some of the theming because a lot is changed in the framework-res.apk for themes.
And you should know the drill by now...flash at your own risk...have a backup...
Oh and if you like it hit the thanks button.
Mod Edit: removed link that requires password.

Can you make a zip to make the home screen and app drawer to do the 360?

That would have to be done through the launcher. I'm running out for a few but when I get home I will pull TouchWiz home apart and see what I can do.
That would be sweet. I know I find myself needing it more all the time.

Moving to Themes and Apps as this is modification to a stock App/launcher and doesn't belong in the Android Dev section.

Really??? This is a modification to the framework and has zero to do with the launcher app.
Edit: So basically everything in the Dev section should be moved because they are all modifications to the stock software?
Thanks and touché on the post above

Sorry - you are wrong. You are trying to skirt the rules here, but that rule you quoted (Rule #15) that says "mods" go in Development, is meant for real modifications made to ROMs, kernels, etc. - not tweaks to apps. This is a tweak to an app, the stock launcher to be precise, and as such belongs in Themes and Apps and STAYS here.
You are correct thought even Senior Moderators can make mistakes - and I am not above admitting when wrong. But - that didn't happen in this case and any attempt to try and skirt the rules more will be met with real consequences.
EDIT: Also closing this thread since you seem to have duplicate threads now in Themes and Apps about the same thing.
My mistake.... this thread should be open too

[Q] Magnifier for typing in Xperia S, when?

Arco s, Xperia P and U (U soon) will get text magnifier cursor but for Xperia S there isn't such useful thing. Is it possible to ''transfer it'' from Xperia P like an flashable app maybe?

I mean those little useful thing called magnifying glass in iphone, also in many HTC droids - when typing you can change text by taping on space in text and then comes cursor with magnifier....
Also it is present on Xperia P... is it possible to tranfer it from P to S?

Now all is well. The moderator has moved your thread to the correct section of the forum called Q&A.
Also if you are new to XDA then start by reading the sticky'd threads pinned @ the top of a section, before creating a new thread. Sticky'd threads will contain the most common info and FAQ's from around the forum. If anything, ask your question in a general discussion thread first.
Thanks for learning the forum rules. And WELCOME to the XDA forums.

Please remember to post questions in Q&A and they will stay there. Questions posted in general, like this thread was originally, will be moved to Q&a by the mods like it was. Which is why now both threads you made for the same thing are in Q&A.
Thank you for following the XDA rules

Xperia S ROM

What is the best Rom for Sony Xperia s? 4.2.2 only!
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
OP,
Do not post such question again. The point of this forum is try out different ROMs available in the development section.
Check out the development section, browse different ROM threads and read users reviews, rather posting this type question please.
XDA strictly discourages this type of inquires.
OP as stated above....Thank You.

What hapned to the 4.2/4.3 Discussion Thread ???

Their used to be a 4.2/4.3 Discussion thread about xperia play started by hashy.. and the other 2 Xperia Legacy threads are also lockedin the Android Dev forum.. what is happening... where is everyone gone.. what about the discussion and the updates on the work ??
if we cant discuss it here ?? then where.. have some weird policies come in the way ?? @Hashy

Request AT&T 4.3 Stock

Can we please get an Official AT&T stock rooted flashable zip?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Wow another wasteful thread.
Here's your answer for an official AT&T.
Odin back to stock firmware, then just wait until the OTA comes to your device...
Then you'll be 100% OFFICIAL since that's what your looking for..
Then you don't have to use the ROM's these devs put out. And they spend countless hours making them for us for FREE...
And working on Christmas DAY, be happy and don't complain!
people shouldn't throw rock's in glass houses...
SENT FROM SAMMY i317 USING TAPATALK
I'm sure a lot of people would love a AT&T Stock 4.3 flashable zip. So instead of having to use Odin we could just flash that... Not everyone has access to a computer 24/7. In my case my netbook is slow as poop on a stick.
