Hi all,
I've rooted my wife's HTC Wildfire S, and installed the Marvellous CM10 ROM by djolivier. It seems to work great, except for the data bug. I've read up on it, and found that while this is a known bug, it is mentioned that it was fixed in this ROM. This is sadly a deal-breaker in using this ROM, since I've really started to like this ROM.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can go about fixing this myself? While I'm new to the Android rooting scene, I'm technically adept, so can provide with any logs/ information needed. I just have to wait till I get the phone back from my wife at the end of the day!

so i got my desire hd yesterday, i'm pretty satisfied with it so far... rooted it as soon as i got it out of ted to the box! but i've hit a major problem, i wanted to flash CM7 or MIUI or custom kernels, which i managed to do, but unfortunately, sound doesn't want to play on any rom other than the stock telus rom so i have a couple of questions and hoping to find answers:
1.what is causing this?
2.is there anything that can be done about that?
thanlks!

should work
Hey guys,
I currently installed the CM 7.2 FXP047 project (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1128216) on my R800i. Before that I had a 7.0.1 CM on my device. I decided to upgrade to 7.2. cause the changelog told me that camera, touch pads and vibration are fixed within this version. Unfortunately all these parts still didn't work after my upgrade. Does anyone of you have same issures or may I have used a wrong boot.img before?
Also I just realised that you brought us a newer version, FXP049. But the download link seems to be disabled? Does anyone of you have the archive and can upload it or is it just a temporary matter?
Thank you very much in advance for your answers and your patience.
Regards,
AltFFear
Same problem
Yeah i got the same problem with my r800i. First i installed CM7 7.1. Camera and vibration didn't work + some bugs. So i i came to xda forums and upgraded to 7.2 didn't take the new boot.img. Now i got same problems again as 7.1. Anyone got a fix yet ?
Hi Dear Freinds
as you know google has some problems with Nexus S ICS 4.0.3 Rom update that in some countries when your device recognized that your sim card isn't in google availble sim cards automaticly disabled the wifi and it became deactive for ever, you had to wipe your phone and take off the sim card for ever if you wanted to use wifi.
since 5 months ago ICS has been released for Wildfire Buzz but it has exactly above problem so we can't use it because we need wifi either.
after searching for Nexus S problem i could find a fix patch for that, which i tried for nexus s and it worked but it didn't work for my wildfire
i attached it for you.i want someone for helping to make it suitable and useful for wildfire.
thank you my friends
Nexus s got an official update from google for ICS right, or is it just on cm9?
We didn't get an official update to gb let alone ics on wildfire and had to rely on cm team to get it, surely if the problem existed on cm9 they would have merged this patch somewhere along the line to fix it?
I haven't heard of the WiFi being totally broken on a wildfire running cm9, and presume that wiping the phone and reinstalling the rom and radio would fix it anyway.

Hi. I have been using jellytime 4.2.2 r11 for about 2 months now. And have had only the occasional force restart. Every time i loose signal, it comes up with a notification in the top notification bar saying so. But, since Tuesday, every time i loose connection, it now vibrates, and plays my notification tone out loud. It never used to do this. And now its getting me to the point of insanity. I did not change any settings as far as I know. I've searched the first 20 pages of Google looking for a solution to stop the vibrate and tone, but I could not find one. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Hello,
You need to tell that to the dev team of JellyTime 4.2.2. I think it is a ROM problem. FYI the most stable JellyTime 4.2.2 ROM is the r9.
Hope it helps.
Regards.
Thank you for the response.
I have messaged randomblame with my issue. Hopefully it can be resolved quick. If not, I'll go to r11.
Its strange that I haven't seen anyone else with this issue. Maybe I'm not seeing the setting for it.
Either way, thanks a bunch.

I've been using JellyTime 4.2.2 R11 from the time it was released by RB and I haven't had a problem with the Rom. In fact it's as good as a stable 4.2.2. Fast and reliable. The problems usually arise at the pre-flashing stages.

I just wanted to ask: what did you do before flashing the ROM? Full (data) wipe/factory reset + cache wipe+ dalvik wipe?
Just curious cos I've followed that procedure and it's limited if not eradicated all or any bugs usually reported for me personally
I've also had the occasional "loss of connection" but after flashing a new radio that sorted out my problems :victory:
Hope my input helps
Just before I flashed the ROM I had only just used aahk2. So I had not changed anything.
I have not flashed a radio for fear of bricking, although I may if that is what it takes.
I have not received a reply from randomblame.
All support is appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I'm posting on here because I can't find any solution to my dilemma which I am sure that other people in the AOSPA legacy community have also experienced. I have been using Paranoid Android on my T989 since the 4.4.3 update and I have regularly updated my roms since then. Somehow ever since I updated my phone to 4.5 beta 3, something prevents me from being able to hear or be heard during regular phone calls around an hour after I restart my phone.
I have tried everything to try to make my phone back to normal, I have updated my versions of AOSPA, I have downgraded to stable versions, I have gone to a debloated stock rom (which worked perfectly fine but who likes touchwiz android 4.1.2?) and back to AOSPA, I tried the latest Carbon nightly rom and the problem persisted, I have wiped my internal memory, cache, davlik, etc. multiple times. I am at a total loss as to what I should do to fix this issue. I'm currently running it on 4.6 beta 1 and I still have the issue.
I really love my GS2 and I don't want to part with it or have it running stock. Please help me.
I really appreciate it,
Chris
I've had the same issue , I was running the latest liquid smooth rom . I just flashed back to stock using Odin and all is fine on the stock rom . I just rooted again and am hesitant to install another kitkat rom for fear of this calling issue ........ Anyone else with this problem ?

I am also getting this problem on Slim 7.8....must be an audio-caf issue....Can someone go back to an old KK rom (one from earlier months) and see if they experience the same issue? Preferably cyanogenmod
I flashed to stock rom via oden and spent the weekend with the phone and all was good , I flashed to the latest cm-11 with no addons , stock cm-11 kernal and after an hour or so I lost call audio again . We must have done something to the phone in a previous rom cause not many people are having this issue . Now I have flashed about 75 different roms with no issue , I hope someone finds the problem cause I'm not to keen on the stock rom !
I've seen posted that snapchat was the cause of the no call audio problem we are having , I flashed the latest liquid smooth rom last night , download all my apps that I usually do except snapchat and I've had no issues with the calling bug . All is working great .
