I unlocked bootloader, rooted, and changed the ROM.
but, When i go to one of the DOCOMO shop (Japan) (because i want to use sony xperia ZL c6503 instead of s3 alpha) they said that there should be a japanese licence certification under the settings-> about phone -> legal information.
and i didn't have that on my ZL.idk if the rooting that cause it to disappear... so anyone knows how to get that back?
or at least a way that i can fake the license because i really want to use the ZL here.
i know that it supports the same center frequency (2100 MHz) (http://developer.sonymobile.com/2013/01/24/lte-coverage-for-xperia-smartphones/)
or is there any other way i could use DOCOMO sim with Xperia ZL?

Sony Ericsson has released the 3.3-inch Xperia ray into the United States. The phone will not be found on any carrier though, it is being released in a sim-free unlocked version only, where it can be purchased through online retailers such as Newegg for $379.99. The phone is not compatible with T-Mobile’s 1700MHz AWS frequency band, but should work fine on AT&T’s 3G network. It will be available in four colours (gold, black, white and pink) and will come with Android 2.3.4 out of the box.
What this says to us is that, much like the Xperia arc, Sony Ericsson has not managed to get carrier support for this fine phone. The Xperia arc is being sold in the US through similar distribution channels and has so far not seen any operator pick it up. It looks like the same fate will befall the Xperia ray, which is a shame.
from : www.xperiablog.net
but now the Question.
The Ray will be released with unlocked Bootloader .
And how can Track ID work when the Bootloader is unlocked ?
Cause if we unlock the Loader of our Arc Track ID doesnt work anymore.
I think it said ray is sim free(not bootloader unlock), it can be use on any carrier. it's unlike other band se phone, the fastboot will be enable. User can unlock the bootloader from SE site for free.
its unlocked phone, means sim free, not unlocked bootloader..
I bought a second-hand Sony Ericsson Arc and it has "NTT DoCoMo" on the back . I put in my Tmobile SIm card . After power on, it does ask me to enter the unlock code.
I tried cellunlocker.net . Before place the order , i did email them to make sure if they can unlock a NTT DoCoMo Sony Xperia Arc and what is the cost . One of the agents replied me back "It's 39.99 on our website"...very poor custommer quality in my opinion . So , I placed my order after fill in the IMEI , model and network that it is locked to (which is NTT DoCoMo). About a week later , I receive an email from them, asking me those same info (IMEI, brand and locked network)..wth ?!?!? ....So I got on an online chat with them , agent Ken C , he told me that they can not get a unlock code for Ntt DoCoMo for my Arc at the moment , so they gave me the refund .
As I do a research , htccode.com claim that they can Sim-unlocking for Ntt DOCOMo for my Arc . This is the link:
htccode.com/sony-ericsson
However, htccode.com has quite a bad feedback here on xda-developers . So I kinda hesitate to place a order of 50$ ==!.
Soooo, my question is have anyone know where I can get my Ntt DoCoMo Sony Ericsson Arc sim-unlick to use under Tmobile ?
Or should I bring my phone to tmobile store to get unlock ?
ANy suggestion would help
In all honesty its probably cheaper to just get the bootloader unlocked:

I don't know the price off hand but im sure its cheaper that the prices you were quoted. That and its two birds with one stone, now youre sim unlocked and bootloader unlocked for cheap

is there a way to unlock my phone?
Hi,
I am using Sony Xperia S, LT26i, which is O2 locked phone bought from Ebay. I have used the same for one year and requested O2, UK for unlock so that I can use the same on any network. I am following it up with O2 for last 2 months, but they are not able to unlock my phone and i didnot see any reason from them. Shocked....
Can anyone help me, how I can unlock my Xperia S to get it used on other networks.
Regards,
Chandra.
Is still here anyone who deals with unlocking simlocked arc s?
HI you can easily unlock your sony ericsson Xperia Arc s mobile from sim lock using codes ..You can purchase sim unlock code from online providers like Unlocking4U.com for reliable cost .You first check that whether the code is available for your country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock the phone then freely use it with any GSM sim ..
