I restored app with Titanium backup without SD card? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi all. I thought that titanium back up is stored on my SD card under "Titaniumbackup" folder. so today I pull out the SD card, and delected an app. then use the titanium back up. and it restored the app.
Can someone explain pls

Thats because you are not paying attention to what your device is telling you. The Sd card is your INTERNAL memory and your removable sd is listed As EXTSd.

Rooted desire with apps2sd+ new sd card howto?

I want to buy a new sd card since the one I have is a class 2 card.
How do I do this? I have installed loads of progs on my old card?
Do a Titanium backup, copy the file to pc, swap sd card and run titanium again?
Or should I flash the rom?
Any ideas?
bump
sorry
I would do a nandroid backup onto the old SD card, then do a total copy and paste of everything on the old SD to your PC. Get the new card and put the pasted stuff on to this one, then do a nandroid restore.
The only reason I'd do it this way is because I've read that titanium can be a bit odd at times and doesn't seem to work 100% every time.

Apps on SD gone when changing SD Card

Wife has a DInc. 2.2 was telling her that she was out of space.
Decided to get her a bigger SD card. going from 2gb to 8gb, formatted it and dropped all the files from the SD card to the new one.
Insert new sd card, and all the apps on the SD card are gone.
hmm
install the old card, reboot
All SD apps are all gone.
what happened..??
How were the apps placed on the original sd? Titanium, an app, or what?

[Q] Migrating to a new microsd card

Hello all, I have a rooted play running stock firmware 2.3.4.
I want to migrate to a bigger SD card and have done a titanium backup of my apps. However some of my apps I "moved to sd card". So my question is can I copy all my files and folders from the old sd card to my desktop and then to the new sd card? Will the apps on the sd card work just fine? Please advise. Thank you.

Worked for me. I replaced mine that way with no problem. Just make sure you copy everything, and don't wipe the old card until you test out the new one, just in case.

You don't even have to do a titanium backup, all you need to do is copy EVERYTHING, that includes hidden folders, make sure you backup android.secure folder, that's where everything you "Move to SD Card" in settings goes
All that you have to do is copy everything from your old SD card straight to your new one. I did this upgrading from an 8gb micro SD to a 32gb micro SD.

[q] need to free up space on internal sd card

I need to make room on my internal and even on my external sd card, i have made backups using titanium backup... all i need to know is what folder contains those backups and what folders have my saved games including glu, gameloft, etc
The game data on your SD is only thongs like textures music etc. Delete all of that, it will are download when you load the game again. The folder wothbyour titanium backups should be labeled titanium backup.
Is there any way to make your SD card as a default storage for everything? I did it with my pictures and stuff, but apps keep installing straight to the phone.

You can't install everything on SD Card. Even when you move applications to SD, they will only transfer partially. Why do you want to move it all to SD ? You should have about 2 GB almost entirely dedicated for your apps.

[Q] External SD card path

I am running CM10.1.2. I have been trying to backup my data onto external sd card using Mybackup Pro. By default all the files are being backed up to internal sd card. What is the file path for external sd card?
Also, when I move any app to sd card, they are saved in internal ss and nt he external one.
Any help with these issues would be much appreciated.
