[LOL] Official "lol" OneX thread

Hi everyone,
because i spend so much time on XDA i found (and still finding) funny threads and posts on the OneX forum and want to share that with you guys.
Will update it every time i find something (and post your finds in the first page) ...
1. This guy inserts a screwdriver into the headphone socket LINK
2. This guy found a solar charger on the play store and he wants to share that with us LINK
3. This guy wants to buy a NEW OneX to get a new power button for his old OneX LINK

Jelly Bean released?? HTC ONE X

Just downloaded an update package for my HTC One X via the software update page in settings, im guessing this is Jelly Bean, as it's updating.
More info coming as i update

It tells you what it is on the update notification. Before you install it, grab a logcat and C&P the URL.

too late... i am already installing it..... but it was just a stupid software update.
and here i was getting all jittery in my seat.

Got me excited....... for nothing.
edit: woah, waddafack, can't believe we already have the 10th of octoer. The older i get the faster time feels like it's flying by, anyone else feel this way?

Well I was on the S3 actually then I went on a journey, from s2>s3>s2>iphone4S>gnexus>one x
Lol i only have nexus and onex left.. And I love them both!

:highfive: i am really waiting to see what Nexus phones come out....If it is LG i am sticking with the One X till next year...but my main interest is if there will be a nexus 10 tablet...if that happens i am going for that instead of a phone cause the one x is still a great phone in my eyes. anyways nice to have you here...few of the old s2 guys are around here as well...

Flashed the ota again and everything was fine, but I got a software update for 3.3.2 and I checked in Software information it was showing as 3.3.1. Confused, I double checked I flashed the correct file. Issue related to Rom?

Its complete garbage.
Must be paying HTC a truck load to try and get this off the ground. Biggest gimmick ever second only to the ouya $8 million kick starter, backed by a boat load of people that are willing to buy the same ad riddled or micro transaction games again that they probably already have on their android or iphone.
These are budget devices catering for the easily exploitable.
Wide birth recommended.

As if fb need more information. I seriously hope this doesn't evolve to them takin regular active interest in smartphone market but it clearly will.
Other than the obvious reasons to never let this near your device would it not also rape your battery as presumably it needs a form of data to run?

It actually a smart move for facebook. Don't invest money into hardware, invest in software that many people will install as soon as they get a pop-up from the facebook app. But who does use facebook anyhow? :cyclops:

This. Facebook Home is an appealing idea if you care about your privacy even slightly, or if you dislike advertising. I wouldn't touch it with a hundred foot pole.

A way to have the update on the One X

Hi everyone I've got a hope for ya to get the update on One X...
You can try to pull back the year from 2013 to 2012 and verificate the update this worked for me and now I am on 4.2.2 on HTC One X CID HTC__102

For me it worked because HTC help chat told me to do this

You go into the time and date settings and you move back your date from 23/08/2013 to 23/08/2012

not working for me. CID 102
I re-started phone but date change to 23.08.2013 itself.
