I am jealous
How is the grip with the white xperia ZL? Does it feel nice in the hand? Does it have a plastic slippery feel or some kind of matte rubber finish?
The grip is just really nice... It hasn't got a textured back like the black one,
but the polycarbonate is finished with a kind of matte rubber finish
Will take more / macro photo's when I have some time!
Bro, you should totally do a video review or some sort of video. I can't decide to buy this or the Nexus 4. Gah!!!

I will
Can't wait, the white version is GORGEOUS. Looks better than the One.
Sold the One, the ZL is the only phone left
Gonna root it I think and customize it CLB-style.
My ZL has got the option to unlock the bootloader on 'yes' so that's also nice!
I am so jealous you got both htc one and zl
Have customized some of my homescreens with the modded Xperia Launcher (for the Xperia Z)
Some extra info about software, bootloader and screen:
I love the out-of-the-box gallery application from Sony:
I've imported a 6503 model to work in the Netherlands with HSDPA+ (and in the future with LTE 42Mbps)
And I've made a movie of the notification LED of the ZL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvIcddadEnk&feature=youtu.be
I've replaced the stock Chrome-browser for the stock one and installed Flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187973

Just picked up a new Nexus 7 this morning to replace my old N7 and loving it so far, a huge [huge] improvement in performance. Loving the addition of a notification light, wireless charging (plz take note Sony) and a better screen resolution.
Decided to run some benchmarks against my Xperia ZL since they both share the same CPU, GPU and general specs and was surprised to see such a huge discrepancy in the results with Quadrant, but almost identical results with AnTuTu.
The Xperia ZL is running on JB 4.1.2, while the N7 is running JB 4.3. Something tells me the ZL would pull even higher numbers if it was on JB 4.2 and JB 4.3 still.

umm ...zl runs on 4.2 atm
maybe better with 4.3 :good:
one is a tablet n other a phone .. :\
Is it me, or is this like comparing 2 completely different entities for no obvious reason...?
Irrelevant.
The new Nexus 7 doesn't have the same Snapdragon as ZL. It uses a clocked down S600, it is build of Krait 300 not 200. Also memory is different, it's DDR300.

Okay guys, we - the owners of the flo are very proud of our devices, not only by it's stunning sharp screen, but also the lovely color reproduction. Some people might think that Live Wallpaper is a battery killer, but the truth is it's not, I don't experience any unusual power drop at all when switching from "dead" to live wallpapers. :fingers-crossed:
Taking the advantage of Adreno 320, the N7 can run live wallpaper smooth as silk, the lag is very hard to notice. So, time for decorations, and btw I will only suggest the best Live Wallpapers that LOOK GOOD EXCLUSIVELY ON THE N7. I hope you can do the same :highfive:

To brate Srbine, Nice review.
I like this phone too, but I would say only and the biggest flaw is that you are stuck with lollipop. I am saying this because recently my uncle bought this phone, and he wants to have some ´protect´ his documents on the phone, and this is where is MM very needed. From Marshmallow you are able to protect your documents with the fingerprint sensor. At least that was the case when I was on Lollipop on my Z5.

Are they rootable?
I have bought this phone but I could not find anywhere the root procedure. When will it be available?
It would be enough to find the TWRP recovery or to bypass the signature check when flashing the supersu.
I found the TWRP of doogee S60 and I wonder if it is compatible with S61
Hi,
I bought this phone 2 months ago but is now dead ( just a black screen and does not turn on). I tried with the SP tools to get the phone started but I got an error:
STATUS_FORMAT_EXCEPTION
I download the latest from the doogee site and uses sp_tools v5.2208. Any help is very much appreciated.
