[Q] Kernel on ICJ 4.2.1 ?

hey,
i have installed the ICJ 4.2.1 jelly bean rom and everything is fine atm.
but i have a question:
my kernel version ist 2.6.39.4
in the changelog it is told that the kernel version was updated to 3.1.xxxx
why is mine on the 2.6.xxx base?

did you flash the boot.img of the rom?

of cource i did

He meant bluetooth drivers were updated to 3.1.10.

[Q] Flash Kernel for lu6200

im using miui v4 android version 4.0.4 is it ok to flash custom kernel like thunder kernel 3.7? I also have official 167 kernel too....boot to CWM then install zip from sd card then choose thunder kernel v3.7 to flash? or is there any other way to test a custom kernel for lu6200?

First of all please post in Q/A thread. Flash the kernel from cwm after making a backup.

thanks but I already perform this before I read your reply...I create a nandroid backup first then flash the v3.7 thunder kernel and also I try to flash the baseband afterwards....all is working now thanks....

does anybody knowns how to flash the baseband on a custom ROM??

hey there..i am currently running on stock rom with titanium kiss kernel build 3.0 and want to flash a paranoid android 4.1.2 rom with hellboy kernel ...also i have cwm recovery.....i just wanted to know if there are any bugs in the paranoid rom...plzz GIVE ME THE LINKS TO DOWNLOAD THE ROM AND KERNEL....!!

Yes it should work. First you should transfer DoomKernel and Trinity rom onto your internal storage. Then reboot into cwm and flash doomkernel first. Then reboot again into recovery [now you should see doomkernel's super awesome kernel logo] and now follow the instructions on Trinity Rom's page

[Q] Devil Kernel Problem with AOSP 3.2

Hello Friends
i am using aosp latest version 3.2 on my n7100 .. and using devil kernel (Devil2-2.3.2-n7100-DUAL-20140102)
when i flash the kernel using teamwin recovery .. when phone is started it show an error ... unfortunately android.phone has stopped
but its working fine .... on older versions like 3.0 or 3.1
how i can fix this issue or tell me any other stable kernel for aosp
