I used to like the s3 screen color output then went to the note 2 and find the natural mode was better. With the s4 I find the movie mode is the best as everything looks more natural. I find other settings just seem too over saturated. I'm glad the s4 has this options now compared to the s3. Which mode do you use?

As many of you know when you turn on the labs function in the browser you can activate many menus by using the blue circle on the side of the screen. On my galaxy tablet there are many more options on the blue circle however on my galaxy nexus there are very few options on the blue circle. Does anyone know how to get all of the options on the cellphone similar to the tablet?

Hey guys, question. On a black scree , I noticed the screen is not pure black, it has some light. Only noticeable in dark rooms, even if the screen is on minimum brightness.

That's normal. The device is designed as such to reduce transition time

Click to collapse
I'm guessing there's no way to make it completely black?
I used to have a SGS2 and I really liked the blacks, without that light (at least not as noticeable)
Is there any difference? Battery or something?
Anything????? I can't be the only one that wants this
Amoled already shows black as 'more black' than tft displays. Currently no tft/oled technique exists that will display black as actual black (like when the screen is off) afaik.
Having said that, I really like the black on my gnex. Dark enough for me.

Wide screen is usually good for video playing but it is too wiiiiide for web browsing, especially in landscape mode.
Statusbar - only black bar in landscape mode - is really annoying. My 5-inch big screen is almost nothing left for web page when I open screen keyboard and auto-correct in landscape mode.
It's time to remove statusbar TEMPORARILILY.
Please give me any tip or guide.

I was just wondering if I'm mistaken or not, but didn't 4.3 jellybean on note 3 have the lens flare lockscreen already built in? Did they remove it in kit kat?

I don't think I ever saw it. you mean ripple? Light flare was s4s originally

I think the lens flair is only on the S4
It's also on note 2 when it got the 4.3 update I think

If you check out on YouTube one of the early reviews for the note 3 you can even see it there...lol I was thinking the same thing I was pretty confused but I can distinctly remember the light flare/lens flare effect being used if you set a live wallpaper to both lock screen and home screen
Let me give link for video :[]

You'd probably be able to find something similar on the Play Store wouldn't you? You aren't using a password right?
I haven't seen it in KK version.
I I think they took it out for some reason. Maybe they wanted it to be phone specific ? Ie: lens flare s4, watercolor note 3, posing colors s5, etc
In the system folder media there is the sound effect for it though. What a bummer they took that out. I can't stand ripple and water cooler. Flare looks really cool
I can't seem to find this menu http://inside-galaxy.blogspot.com/2013/08/samsung-galaxy-s3-how-to-change-screen.html
as they have over there in my touchwiz 4.3 ROM. How can I still do it tho? I am not liking the default screen mode. its a bit dul. I like bright contrast.
Don't know where they got that info. That has never been an option on the S3.
