yes all the ports i make i save links to the main threads and iplan to update my ports within 1-3 days of a new official release
so updates will come when they are out and i get to them :victory::good:

Good deal. I finally got this downloaded. Boots right up and everything working as far as I can tell. I'm digging it. Its fast and has plenty of options. The boot animation is spiffy as well!

Sorry my bad. The phone rings once and then force closes with a message something along the lines of app not responding, or something like that. Sorry. I've already restored a nandroid backup and I can't remember the exact wording of the error message. But yes, it was a phone process error.
hey wolf can you give me the build.prop? maybe i know how to fix that issue.

Hey guys!
I just downloaded ViciousMIUI and installed on to my GNex, first the contacts app kept on crashing (Android.Process.Acore) but we all know how to fix that...
And then I noticied, that my on-screen controls had gone... I'm currently restoring my codename Android ROM, so I have got enough time to ask, if anyone else has had this problem with this ROM, or is it just my phone, again...
I would appreciate quick answers...

Can't have been a bad dl... I downloaded using ROM Manager....
That's why I'm asking... I always dl my ROMs using ROM Manager, or with FF... And I have never had problems before...
Don't use ROM Manager - it's ****. Download it from the ROM thread, compare the md5 and flash it yourself. Don't rely on an app
Have you tried wiping everything and installing again. Sometimes all it need is flashing again for an error free rom

I have tried doing a factory reset... The flash was good, everything successful... I guess it just didn't copy the SystemUI Apk properly... I'll try it again, later on...

Yeah and that link brought a **** load of ****! Buttons still not there, flashed it 5 times!!!! Pissed off, the only way I can use my phone, is by rebooting it, after I have exited an app... -.-" Seriously pissed off now! And this goes to any/everyone who is going to promote anything different than XDA:" **** YOU!"
Guess what I can do now... Reboot my phone, reinstall CND, flash the franco kernel again and why? Becuase this **** load of **** ROM doesn't work, like it should...

It has nothing to do with being on contract. Basicly it is one if these options:
1) Bad download. This CAN happen from ROM manager also.
2) You messed up the install, you said something about messing with SystemUI so that may have been it.
3) Your phone is borked.....not likely at all.
My bet is 1 or 2.

I can confirm it does work.. I have installed it on my nitro... This is pretty damn sweet they re-did everything I can post pics if needed.. Just a heads up this is a one click... Design is all about the one clicks haha.

Its simple..
MAke sure you have the Nitro drivers installed.
Extract the zip file
inside of it is the drivers for our device and the application
Double click on the application and put your phone in pc mode
*NOTE WONT INSTALL WITH LESS THEN 50% BATTERY*
It will delete everything from you device so make a backup if needed

Edit 2: its done and now android dancing on setup wizard, gonna give it 5 minutes and then reboot to settle it properly before setting it up.

There is at first boot. I flashed mine twice that just what I always do. The camera, camcorder, front camera all work great. Its hard to tell for lag its better then GB and snappier.. It may taje a few days and putting apps on it to se ehow it functions as a daily driver

Ya there is no root.. That could change with this rom being released since they patched up GB... Just keeping fingers crossed

I just flashed onces, waited 5 minutes onces it booted completely on setup wizard,, then turned off and turned on and waited another 5 minutes. Now i read your post. Is it needed to reflash once more? *confused*

Yeah love the boot animation too! This is soo smooth and fast. I could imagine what this will do for future roms. I can't wait to have a stable release of this! I'm shocked with project butter! It's ****ing amazing!

I thought i have data fixed at one moment. i was about to flash the port and afetr i wiped factory reset i clicked reboot instead of Main Menu (TWRP) and i didnt see the boot animation because i was away but when i came back i saw the startup menu and 3g icon on and I was rejoicing then i finished setup and saw my mistake. It made me sad

I know how you feel. Its going to take time.
Also, have you touched the Sprint Galaxy Nexus Port? I was thinking that may hold more helpful for us in getting some of the update stuff for CDMA

When they had no working data of any kind on Sprint GNex version someone swapped out libRIL.so and got data going in some form in the early stages..edit.. I have a GNex as well. Its almost there on that phone. Everything except mms receive works

You took the libRIL.so from the Gnex rom and put it on the NS4G version? Is that what your saying? Im a little confused

No they took it from a working GNex ROM and put it on the JB GNex ROM and it got some part of data working but I asked a dev about it and there's more to it than that. I am trying to get some info for you

While this is not really a polished release, it has the ability to crash the phone, and requires some tweaking by devs and downloaders. Holy cow, dude this was awesome. I mean... me and this thing clicked instantly. As soon as it booted within 5-10 seconds I got through the lockscreen and then just started dozing through all the apps and swiping. It is a bit slow, not in particular though, probably as slow as Miui. This is just a dev preview, imagine the real thing and I didn't lose to much battery life within the span of 20 minutes. I wanted to keep this on my phone just to test but I couldn't. I'm just waiting for the real thing :victory:

Here's the link to his site which has download links to his Revisions 1 and 2. I've downloaded both and haven't had any luck getting them to flash and his website isn't very clear with instructions on how you're supposed to do so.

So you tried out the ROM, how well did it work for you? Did you like it, what do you want to see changed? I am trying right now to put together a hacked SlimBean version, which is much faster and better to use. Did the Ubuntu side work?

I personally haven't flashed this ROM yet. I deodexed the files then, uploaded over night and posted the link today.
(not saying it won't work, all I did was deodex the apps and framework files and replace in his .zip.)

If anyone has flashed this can you just give confirmation please?
I am about to flash so I will update if someone doesn't chime in first.
I tried flashing and got some sort of error, need to check into it.
Flashed the odex ROM, got same error, it still works just perss reboot, and don't install the root fix, and ROM will boot, or did for me anyway.
looking into the perm issue now

sorry the link had to be pulled, the ROM I based this off of I thought worked, I never tested it and getting same error.
Working on fix now, hopefully will get it
or can get some help

phone to boot, I posted the error in indirects thread, i used his base and just deodexed the ROM, his ROM gives same error.

yea I am,def the s3 anyway, if s4 doesn't ever get unlocked, I might dump if to get some cash back.

yea I'll be getting that too, may dump sg4 for it, if no unlocked boot loader by then, if it gets cracked ill keep it and buy the note3 on contract like did with htc one, have a bunch of upgrades.
got the HTC one for free, after it was said and done I actually made $50 but that's not a story for the public.
and my line is ready for upgrade.
my old man got the moto max today, I'll see what he thinks coming from SG4, he doesn't root though, so it's pure stock against stock.

Yeah definitely nice. The maxx has that huge battery but there's not much else to offer imo....

I completely agree, no idea how he will like it, he is odd.
He LOVED the iPhone, wouldn't even listen to me, eventually I talked him into the Samsung Galaxy 3, which he loved then the SG4 which he kinda liked.. which is why he bought the maxx.
