Is there the same problems with adding widgets as there was in the rc? Also, I was having issues with weather sounds. If they were active, I would be unable to apply any weather widgets, like the clock widgets.

i read in the intercoin thread about the crt animations in a build.prop file...or some other file(s)? by adb pushing a certain file of this rom without crt animations, will that work? if so, could one be created for this rom, if its not difficult? i apologize for sounding so pushy/naggy

Yeah, the widget issue is still present. Some widgets won't add to the homescreen, and some analog clock widgets cause Rosie to fc when selected.

dang it... guess i WONT be using this rom, then.. I love that widget more than any other in sense. To get it working (sorta) go into weather settings and turn off sound effects, and that'll let you apply the widget. idk why that works, but it seems to. annoying as heck, tho
I was using a transparent Genie Widget APK on ICS, but when I try iton JB, it does not show up in my widgets
Does anyone know of a 100% transparent genie widget for JB?
I am attaching the stock one in my ROM in case someone can use it to do a fast transparent one.
I made one a long time ago where the widget itself is tranblue if you would like?
just adding some options to the mix... two transparent options at the link below: one with stock weather images, one with the more realistic Sense weather images. enjoy.

That won't work with BJ though, I have been using a modded one on my ICS ROM, but whenI push the same file to system/app in JB, it won't even show up in my widgets.

Still does not play nice with 3rd party launchers. I remember some lame bug on it, plus the fact it hasn't been updated since then.
I'm also using holo locker at the moment i'm currently on wanamlite 3.8 but would rather have the JB lockscreen so have resorted to using holo locker for the moment until i ca find a way of flashing the lock screen if its even possible???
Holo Locker has a few bugs which iritate me when ever i close the screen down you get the standard lock sound which it then does again a couple of seconds later

Thanks a lot. But it is not exactly what I want. I just need lockscreen +maybe CRT on/off, that's all. I don't need any tweaks related to taskbar/tasklist etc.
How can I get it separately?

I am currently using Omega v33.1. But I badly miss the original jellybean lockscreen that came with parandroid rom which I tried not so long ago. I will keep searching for this on XDA as well as Google (just a noob expression I'm afraid). Hopefully I will find some mod which modifies some system files to achieve this. I have tried widget locker from play but experienced some irritating bugs.
BTW could anyone please guide me how to request some developer to build this or at least discuss is it possible at all.
Cheers.
I tried holo locker from play store. Pretty descent with no apparent bugs or fc. But sadly it isn't compatible with juicedefender. Prevents auto disable of data/wifi while screen is off.

Right, Gravity Box JB. Also the Xperia/AOSP NavBar Buttons and XPosed Additions modules.
XPosed Framework itself works perfectly on the 7a. The XPosed Additions module causes some problems so I needed to deactivate this one temporarily. I ran into one boot loop out of all sudden, no idea if this was caused by XPosed.

The center clock seems to be a feature of ColorOS 2.0, I didn't change anything! Are you running 1.2?
Unfortunately my hardware keys still respond to touch. XPosed Additions should be used to disable these, but the module interferes with something in ColorOS and makes it crash every few minutes. I haven't found another way to disable them, but with the Find 5, you could disable them by editing a certain file in the /system partition, so I guess this should work on the 7a too. I haven't figured out which file to edit though.

The same one can be installed on both international and US variants. The root zip works with both too.

Nova launcher with Beweather widget. Custom shortcuts how? There's a free version on the playstore to see if it does what you want. The iconset name used there is called "fireworks"
Thanks, I'll look into it. Most clock/weather widget apps allow you to set shortcuts to it such as the calender to the date, clock app to the time, forcast to the weather portion, etc. Its best when you can choose your own shortcuts rather than using the system defaults. For example you may have a alarm clock app you use off the market you would rather use than the built in alarm clock and so on.
Can someone remove the vibration in menu button of nova launcher ? Ahhe

What launcher do you use? Not everyone give you option of calling an activity, select launcher in your "add shortcut" within this option you will see "activity" you find "audio FX widget" ..
oh man, finally i found it. - wasnt that easy ...i´m using dodol launcher, so first mistake was to search at "add" -> "shortcut" ....there it cant be found....on dodol there is a second option to add "dodol-shortcuts" ....(have to swipe to left ones to see this option coming behind "add shortcut" ....there i have to choose recent apps....(same thing like your "activities" probably) ....probably it helps someone also using dodol and facing the issue to not find the settings
edit: this problematic seems to depend on the used rom in combination with dodol. - on c-rom, i have to act like above told, on another rom, its listened under normal shortcut menue.
