How can I modify my lock screen? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Is it possible to modify the pin type security so that after I enter my pin I don't have to push okay, but rather it just goes through? Preferably without using a third party lockscreen?

On my Evo3D there was a setting for this running CyanogenMod. Haven't found it yet on a S3 ROM.
Are you stock or using a custom ROM?

I thought maybe it would lie in the feature.xml file, but I haven't seen it.

On carbon the feature shows up after you finis setting PIN and go back to settings/security.

I'm on MOAR 4.01, and nothing like that there either. Lockscreen and Security tab don't show that option.

I asked this question a long time ago. I asked if there was quick pin (no hitting okay, just like the cyanogenmod ROM) and got no replys of any touchwiz roms with that feature. I wish touchwiz had it.

Is there a lockscreen replacement?

I am wondering if there is a lockscreen replacement that actually displays the calendar or other cool stuff.
Something that works like lockinfo or intelliscreenx for iphone.
Thanks
Try widgetlocker. You can change your lockscreen and also add widgets.

i was looking for tge same thing.....i am a former iphone user. and youd think with all the devolpers android has ,some type of lockinfo clone would have been devolped. but through my personal searches the closest ive found is "executive assistant" which is free in the market. it comes kinda close but it could be cleaner for my liking.

great going to update now

AOSP Compatible S4 Touchwiz Launcher w/S4 Weather!!! Updated 4/17

4/17 - I've now updated it to a flashable zip, you get the S4 launcher and S4 weather widget
I love AOSP roms for the customizability and I also really like the touchwiz launcher so after many, many trials and errors and having to learn how to use apktool to decompile and build apk's i've modded the touchwiz launcher to work for AOSP roms. I know this isn't anything new since it's been done before, what makes this different is the homescreen is a 4x5 layout and the app drawer is 4x6 with a fully themed S4 Accuweather widget. I know a lot of you use custom launchers and this is not your cup of tea, this is for those who like the look of a stock launcher with a custom aosp rom.
The S4 weather widget really gave me a hard time, and because I was just learning it took me a very long time to get it to work but i've finally figured it out and it should work without any problems. Please note that in order to avoid a widget display problem I had to make the widget thumbnail in the app drawer transparent. It shows up just fine once you apply it.
I'll welcome any feedback and all I ask for is a thanks if you like it.
This should be compatible on any AOSP, CM10.1 based roms. I am personally using LiquidSmooth stable version.
Please make a backup and use at your own risk
Installation instructions:
Download Link
It's now flashable!
Copy to SD card
Flash in recovery
Reboot and enjoy!
Credit:
I'd like to give credit to dr30ma for the original s4 weather widget for the I9300 from which I ported over to work with our device. Also, thanks to Andybones for the universal flasher tool I used.

Can anyone who has successfully got this working try to see if the GS3 Touchwiz camera works? If part of the TW framework is installed, maybe some of the proprietary apps will work as well.

I'm not sure that it will as I have not tested it. I would assume no since I only edited the values that are relevant to our screen DPI but you should be able to test without any consequences. Report back if you decide to try it. Thanks.

S4 SecLauncher finished
Wasn't too bad porting the s4 launcher to work. I'm using a TW rom at this very moment so i'm unable to test it on an AOSP rom so if I have any volunteers i'll post the link to the launcher. If you've already installed the launcher from this post then you will just replace the SecLauncher2.apk in /system/app with this one. Rename your original something like SecLauncher.bak just in case you wanna go back to it you could just rename it back to original. This one also has a 4x5 homepage and a 4x6 menu layout.
Download Link
Don't forget to remove the "s4" from s4SecLauncher2.apk after you copy it over or else it won't work.

No, it just gives you the launcher and weather widget. Although I'm also on liquid smooth and I installed it like it says in the op, and whenever I try to open touchwiz it just forces close on me. Fixed permissions, cleared caches, still the same result.

Hello again ,
I started getting force closes whenever I used the aosp messaging app or the aosp phone app..this was the case with the initial s3 launcher.
As for the s4 launcher, It wouldn't lemme get to the home screen. Touch wiz kept force closing as soon as I rebooted once I finished pushing the file.
I am on aosp deviant xone BTW .
Thanks

I know what's happening...I forgot to include the badgeprovider.apk which notifies you when you get a text and you'll keep getting force closes without it. I'll upload it here in a second. Just push it to /system/app and fix permissions, and reboot and you'll be good to go. I'll fix the original package and upload it seperately for you so you don't have to download the whole thing again.
Download BadgeProvider.apk
Almost forgot to mention, this will just fix the s3 launcher force closing not the s4 launcher. Still need time to figure it out the s4 launcher on AOSP, works fine in Touchwiz.

I have the international S4 keyboard working with autocorrect on my VZW S4 but I am having some issues with the word suggestions. Basically I can type faster than the suggestions so it changes the words I type when it shouldn't be. If I slow down my typing the autocorrect works perfectly.
I don't think you'll want to use the zip I posted as I'm sure the VZW feature.xml is different than yours but you can make the change to yours very easily.
Code:
<CscFeature_Sip_DisableAutoCorrection>true</CscFeature_Sip_DisableAutoCorrection>
to
<CscFeature_Sip_DisableAutoCorrection>false</CscFeature_Sip_DisableAutoCorrection>
Then push the keyboard from the international S4 to /system/app

[Q] Home button drawer SkyrRocket 9.3

Is there a way to remove the bottom draw/tray that contains the Home, Back, and Task Manager buttons at the bottom or the Rom. They cover over every app. At first i thought it might be Nova Launcher, but tried TW and Trebuchet, and it's still there. Was there a setting on the installation I missed? Is there a way to get rid of it?
I feel like it's something easy....but can't figure it out. Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks.

OK it's not called skyrocket buddy. The Rom your running is Skynote 9.3
And your issue is not on this Rom. Those features are activated by adding some lines in the build prop.
Personally I would just back up your apps and start over fresh. Because I doubt it was there when you first flashed the Rom. Had to be something you did!!
