I am looking for the closest thing to the nook reader. I loved the way the nook was for reading books but see no need for it since i have this gn2.
There is a nook app in the play store...that's what I use on my nexus 7, it's very smooth.

Both the Kindle and Nook apps are excellent.

Cool reader
I like Aidiko. You can't directly download your Kindle or Nook books using it, but if you have epub or pdf file, it' will load.
Another vote for Aldiko. I'll take it any day over the Kindle app.

Try fabrik its great and it has cloud sync in the free version also which I believe is not in any of the other ebook apps(at least not for free)
It's also by a xda member too. Was published in the portal a while ago

Hello all, this is my first post and why not start off with a question about malware embedded in this site. I just tried to go to this thread [ROM][12.8.12]Toasted Marshmallow *Tweaked To Perfection* w/AwesomeBeats and Chrome popped up a page that states:
Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on forum.xda-developers.com.
Content from www.thetanooki.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion.
Is this possible?
No, its not just our thread. Ive actually been getting this message alot lately on random xda threads...

Moved to Q&A
....but maybe take it to About XDA or General Discussion and see. I am sure there is a thread over there already about this. Use your search and you should find it/one.

If you mean the Wonders_of_Nature.mp4, it should be in the Samsung - Video folder.
I uploaded it here so that you can download and use it (as intended), if you don't have it.
Right-click it and choose Save link as, otherwise it might try to play in the browser.

I only had that one on my phone.
Any decent quality video will help to show off the device. If you find any other official ones, please post them. Love this phone.

Basically what I would like to see our phone do is be able to choose between two systems to boot ie asop or tw without having to reflash. Is something like that even possible? I know certain PCs can run two os like windows 8 and Mac os10. Just wondering how awesome that would be.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
We used to have boot manager but I don't think it's jb friendly

What is the best kernel with battery/performance . I would like to increase my battery time since I installed paranoid android.
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using xda app-developers app
there is no universal "best" kernel/rom.. every device is different so try the kernels yourself and see which is best for YOU, AK is best for me personally so give it a try if you want

Since there is no option on the app to search in a specific thread it is a lot easier to just ask the question than spend countless hours scrolling through pages to read what people say ..I didn't know in forums it was forbidden to ask questions
