MMS problem with CM10.1 mms.apk on Omega rom - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys I'm a noob hère. I installed Omega V16 this morning. But I prefere MMS.apk from paranoid or cm10.1. So I took it from the last release of PA and paste it over the original Samsung apk secmms.apk.
The SMS, emoji etc. work fine, but il can't neither send on receive MMS because of forced closes.
Des anyone have Any idea? It'd be very Nice!
Thank you guys
Edit : if I follow for exemple this tuto : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100078&page=6&highlight=mms
May I just change the mms.apk in this thread with the one from PA, or do I have to change codes from the jar... ?

Ditto! I'm having the same issue. Though if I reopen messaging apparently they sometimes send. Weird.

mms y cm7,2

soft'm doing tests with CM 7.2 and soft to add this rom and do it with what I use.
For now I've had some problems with the market, settled with the change in LT! 5 i for i in file LT18 build.
Now I have problems with MMS unable to send and receive, using the same configuration that puts the original rom phone.
Can you help? That would be nice
thanks in advance Mohoram

[Request] Stock MMS app with emoji support

Looking for a complete stock MMS app that isn't themed with emoji support (like the cm10 one that was recently released). Anyone have this available? I use another ROM atm and emoji support isn't supported right now, and I prefer the stock look.
Mods please close thread. I was able to solve/find my request.

Alright what I did was downloaded the cm10 Kang fits made and found the mms.apk in the system files. It works perfectly for bamf paradigm, but I can't confirm for any other Roms. This is cm10 work so I take no credit whatsoever for it. I would like to also mention I did this with a toro/verizon device so I can't verify if it works for GSM (even though it should).
How to install:
Using root explorer, go to system > app and find your current mms.apk and rename it to mms.apk.bak (do this step in case the new mms doesn't work, so you can rename your old apk back just in case.)
Move the downloaded apk in this post to the same folder which is system>app folder.
Restart your phone and it should be installed and working.
Edit: forgot to mention that once the MMS is installed to turn on emoji support under the MMS settings in the bottom. Any questions ask away.
It doesn't work on stock JRC03C, force closes.
Hopefully people don't get upset about me replying to an old thread but I used the above Mms.apk and found that it didn't have CM10's "Quick Reply" so I copied over the emoji pngs used by Gja88 into the newer CM10 MMS app.
Since this was the only thread that I could find with the non-Android-ified emoji I will put up my Mms.apk too. This has no Android creature emojis (instead they all look like the emoji on the iPhone) and it has CM10's QuickMessage feature.
Thank you Gja88 & CM10 for the original leg-work here, please read Gja88's earlier posts. I have only tested it on my LTE GNex running CM10 M2

[Q] ISO someone who knows how to view and edit apk. Strange issue...

So going on the basis that every phone is different I've been struggling with this issue and I'm tired of using my work around, and I need someone's help.
Every ROM I flash (AOSP only) when I send someone a picture message it arrives on their end "blank" Now when I say blank, it is marked as 1kb and the preview in the MMS is a white box. If they save the attachment it is fine and as intended in the gallery...
After flashing every AOSP ROM with the same results I assumed it was my phone and nothing I can do about it.
UNTIL I flashed JusTun Bean's inverted gapps package and VOILA! It worked just fine... and I have no idea why...
Whenever I flash a new ROM I now put the inverted MMS in the system/app folder and install it until I flash another ROM.
So what I need is if anyone has ANY ideas or is able to view the two MMS.apk files and see if there is a difference that stands out I'd be super grateful.
The AOKPMms.apk is the JusTun Bean's Inverted that works.
The AOSPAMms.apk is the ParanoidAndroid Mms that I'm using right now that doesn't work.

MMS broken on CM 11 Nightly

Hello everyone,
I just quit iPhone dev and geek to Android world and enjoying the Nightly CM 11 very much so far !
Only one thing I can't go through : MMS doesn't work on this ROM (and seems to on others like Slim or Bam).
I think it must be about the size limit of each MMS, assuming for my career it's 300ko but not sure (I'm on Free Mobile, french career).
When I use other apps with limit control and put it on 300ko, works well (chomp or textra for instance)
But the thing is I tried to change the MMS config in MMS.apk on CM 11 just to see if it works (decomp the apk, modified limit to 300ko and compiled back). Seems to not work....
Does anyone got an idea to solve it ? Maybe someone should advise CM 11 dev to add an option line in MMS preferences to offer the choice to user to limit MMS size (as other apps do).
For info : i9195, CWM recovery, 1/6/14 Nightly build
Regards to all
MMS does not work at all? or only sometimes?
Have you tried a file under 300k?
APN settings?

[4.4.2] AOSP MMS - Fully Customizable with IOS Emojis

This is for touchwiz 4.4.2.
For developers wanting to add this to their ROMs feel free. Give credit to the people I did though and not me. All I did was refind my favorite mms.apk and use Kryten2k35's files with both of their permission. If you experience the bug just reflash the zip.
Instructions
1. Download the zip
2. Flash in recovery
3. This will take care of everything for you and wipe your messages as well as make a backup on your sdcard shall you want to return to stock.

Bugs
"Service not available" when retrieving or sending picture messages. This seems to be random. With a fresh install it will either produce the problem or it won't. This is the best solution I have for this rare bug.
If messages aren't sending or even appearing when you send them go into settings > more > set "messaging" as default app.
