I am Facing Graphics Issue In These Games Even by using Chainfire 3d. I Followed all directions.But Not working.
Yesterday,i Flashed Creeds Fusion v3.1 successfully(Doesn't blame Rom,Somewhere I Am Wrong,Please Correct me).Even I updated to Latest Firmware 'DDLC2',but When i tried to run Gangster West Coast Hustle,Dead Space using Chainfire it didn't worked.
I Installed all plugins(Qualcomm,Powervr,Nvidia) and CF3D Driver.I followed each and every steps carefully but then also it didn't worked.Even Then I rooted my phone once again using 'update.zip'.But It didn't helped.Whenever I Try to ran Gangster none of the graphics r visible only i am able to see white screen and some of those graphics very poorly.Any Help Would be really greatly appriciated.
P.S.-I was I able to play rooted Games In my previous Stock Rom.
What Am I doing Wrong.Please Help.
Steps I Followed:
Installed CF3D Driver then rebooted.
Ticked 'Reduce Texture Quality' And selected Plugin'Qualcomm'
Minimised Chainfire 3D
Opened The Game From Recent Apps(even tried to open it from icon list)
P.S.-Tried Ticking'Reduce Texture Size' and run in Airplane mode but none of them worked
.Please Help.
of course it wont work in any way possible,
GPU of SGY will never run hd games no matter what tweak you apply,
but although we can increase performance through chainfire it is just not enough to run games like those
not all HD games can be played via chainfire3d trick
SGY simply doesn't have the adequate GPU to start with
the gpu is doesn't really matter. the most important fact is that HD games are have HD resolution. our tiny resolution won't fit with any HD games. chainfire could reduce texture but it doesn't work with every HD games.

I mean I am unable to run chain fire games like gangster,BIA 2, dead space and etc. even though by rooting we can run it.

hay please check the apk file that u download its must be QVGA Apk file not HVGA its working good in my syg.
Dude I've played all of those that you mentioned in the thread title with stock ROM and just Chainfire 3D installed. I remember sometimes the game would close on start up, all I did was try again and again until it started and was playable.
Dude, i'm playing gangstar west coast hustle smoothly on my sgy. I'm on chobits v1.8 and using merruk 2.0. I think you're installing the wrong apk. Go to this site - w*ww.galaxyyoung.in (remove the asterisk). That's where I downloaded the apk and sd files. One more thing, the graphics issue can be resolved by installing a better kernel like merruk 2.0 too!

I have no problem playing gangstar west coast hustle on my galaxy y. Try this, in chainfire3d choose QUALCOMM in default openGL setting and check the reduce texture quality. Then open gangstar. Hope this help!

Thankx for all replies.I solved My Problem.I had set Default settings as '32-bit' and Settings for game(manual) as 16-bit.But after i unticked 'unroll textures to 32-bit' and ticked '16-bit' from Default Settings.I got It Work.Don't know why this was heppening.But No Worries .

It freezes because it's insufficient ram while playing. Try to close some apps before playing.

It work fine for me. With no lags at all and sometimes i have a lot of apps work background. I have cm10 a2 from arco. With no tweaks and anything else at all. Pure cm 10. I also got need for speed most wanted, dragon slayer, bia 2, blood and glory, real football 13 and much more..

Try using some gaming tweaks and RAM tweaks such as Supercharger6, game booster, RAM manager, and so on. Maybe some bloatware stock system apps can be freezed or uninstalled in order to free RAM usage, because usually some stock system apps run in background. Hope this helps..

I'm facing the same problem too with my InDroid V6 REMICS ROM too! Its playable but only when things get nasty like when you hit against a wall with your car during the start... Although Dead Trigger seems to work fine... btw, can you give me the link for your CM10 a2 ROM thingy?
Working Fine now...
I've installed CM10 Alpha 3 and GTA lll works fine but with a few lags... No freezes like my old ROM... I also installed Supercharger V6, TweakZ, Bravia Engine and Geeky Engine MOD on my device and it seems to have no improvement whatsoever.... At least GTA3 work :good:

Not possible with ICS,on any ROM,games lag to much,i have tried ICS stock,and with Ultimate HD but to laggy,so i downgrade it to GB.GB rocks with heavy gaming.

The only game I'm aware of that doesn't work with ICS is Shadowgun, all other games should generally work on ICS, more so if you're using a custom ROM, I'm using Xperia Ultimate HD2, and it works pretty well, plenty of Ram available, just make sure you don't fill your phone with apps that use up your phones storage and runs in the background, try finding alternative apps that are smaller and don't run on the background constantly. If you have a CPU clocking app, make sure it's set to performance and you should be able to run anything.

Ah, no I haven't, I don't really like games on mobile devices, and I refuse to download a game that's 800mb, mainly because I only have an 8gb S.D card, if you check the reviews, people with our phone seem to be able to play it.

if you're much of a gamer, just install x-gamer rom. it's based on GB but tweaked
i found a method to play very well all the game you must to install THIS task killer and active all the root killing option and when you clean the ram you have more than 200mb of ram and the app not restart(i add to excluded list the launcher and swiftkey beacuse when he kill swiftkey then i must select again because the stock keyboard is active) (after play restart the phone for normal use) sms and call work normally when you play super fluid ....i try on CM9, CM10,CM10.1 with :
asphalt 7
real racing 3
subway surf
temple run 2
cm9 is clean with no script ecc ecc
i install a fast reboot program to reboot fastly when i finish to play
NOW YOU CAN FINALLY PLAY WELL!!! :laugh:
UPDATE
i add screen to see my setup.....
i try on CM10, CM10.1 and CM9 and i see better performance and more free ram on CM9 but i can play well on CM10, CM10.1 too

Freezing on rr3 is because it rr3
I use rc6, rr3 sometime freeze and i must force shutdown

Maybe it causes of RAM factor, I play rr3 on fresh rc6 really fresh without 3rd party apps. And I got rr3 run smoothly and not freezing.
But, I can't live with no apps on my ROM

if the problem is shortage in ram, the real solution is to create swap.
task killers can only clear as much ram there is in the device.
games like real racing 3 and contract killer 2 need more ram than what our Wonder have.
by creating swap at least 256mb, ram is extended so these games do not fc no more.

you can also use your internal sd for it if you have space left, i've tried 128mb and contract killer 2 works just fine

But i cant free soo much memory ^....Even though i use hadidj's kernel (which has 376 mb of ram) I can get only 160-170 mb free. And i kill the swift key too , I excluding the phone.. I would like to free 200mb like you or more on this kernel hehe

I use stock kernel and I wait to try a hady kernel to try with more ram yes often a small lag persist e rarely the app restart again but I think because I kill first to wait for the super user gain of the program

I'm pretty sure that our phone can handle this game!

I tried rom atomic, it also lags.
The wierd thing, that it doesn't lag on samasung galaxy S 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont use GB but all i can say is try increasing ram before playing it?
There is a app on play store called xbooster, u cud try that, it will give a lot of ram (cause a lot of FC's)
Turn on gaming mode before playing and then press 'Quick Boost'
Hopefully it will wok

Try Zelly Cream Rom (ICS) with boost my xperia app. I tried lot of hd games and they worked fine without lag.

There is no way for ICS to be better than GB....... ICS is just too heavy.

You are right, ICS has way more features.
For me, I prefer performance. There is no point from having many features and ****ty performance..

I tried the app, it improved gaming approximately 30 percent. But the lag is still there.......
Any other advice?
I even over clocked my phone to 1.6 ghz....... And still lags in games. Especially "perfect kick":banghead:

There are many u can find for ICS

Try jelly bean.... Cm10 with fusion kernel.... Temple run 2 runs like a boss!!! Other hd games ive played without issues are asphalt 7 nfs most wanted fruit ninja angry birds(obviously ) nova 3... N mc4 runs but lags... -_- but i promise u will enjoy temple run 2 and ur other average 3d games.... Having said that it should also b noted that 3d gaming on our phone will not entirely b lag free.... A stutter here n there is obvious.... Completely butter smooth gaming is too much to ask from a 512mb single core device....

Believe me, I tried ultimate HD rom.. It is fairly good, but it's nothing compared to GB.... I'm a heavy user.
Although ICS has many awesome features, but when it comes to performance, GB is a killer...

Well adreno drivers are drivers for our GPU which is used for gaming
Our GPU chip is the adreno 205
Getting latest drivers will most prob increase ur performance
It sure does on ICS

There is no real way to check
Each rom, phone is better compatible with different drivers
Latest is not always the best
I suggest u google drivers for GB
hopefully there is one
On my phone i have tried JB drivers but they werent as good as xperia ray ICS drivers
U have to jst check
But be sure to make a backup so if it isnt as gd u can always revert
try 1100 with smartassv2 and deadline in cpu setting it may work

for adreno search for flashable called powerpack it has the latest adreno drivers i think but am not sure
