I have only 900 mb free on sd card not the external sd, what if I do a format sd card?, how I can recover the memory that I am not using?
well you may format your sd card if you feel like it
if you want to recover any lost data
try easeus data recovery wizard
free version can restore upto 1GB of data (100 mb per day) but paid version has no limitations
i have used it and result was satisfying
note: it may not detect the recoverable files in the first attempt. if so rescan
P.S. you will need a card reader and a pc
I ended up deleting old ClockwordMod Recovery backups and then clearing backup data, freed up a LOT of space.
Maybe that's what your issue is as well?
Move apps to sd external with ap2sd and chech if your files are in internal or external sd (mp3 images, video etc)
A mi me paso lo mismo todo lo que descargas suele guardarse en la memoria del telefono usa un explorador de archivos y busca la carpeta external sd ahi puedes pasar todas tus cosas

si, use la app de cleen master y encontre una carpeta que tenia 2 gb de archivos que no sabia ni que eran, creo que de las anteriores roms que habia instalado, pase los backups a la external sd y elimine esa carpeta y listo, tengo 3.5gb de memoria libres y el cel fundionando de maravilla

Pues en principio eso es algo que llevo buscando y creo que sin otro soft que haga un puente, no es posible llevarse la PIM a la SD.
Tu interés es porque no gestiona bien los contactos??

segundo dia funcionando FXP216 sin ningun problema.. todo funciona a la perfeccion hasta el momento, sin ninguna queja sin freez ni reinicios..
vengo de cyanogenmod oficial la cual si me daba muchos errores..
recomindo al instalar:
flash boot.img que esta en el zip de fxp216
entrar al recovery wipe data reset y wipe particion
instalar .zip (fxp216)
instalar Gapps
wipe data/factory reset de nuevo
restart
FXP216 second day running with no problem .. everything works perfectly so far, without any complaint without freez or reboots ..
official cyanogenmod come from that if I did many mistakes ..
recomindo to install:
Flash boot.img that is in the zip fxp216
enter recovery wipe data reset and wipe partition
install. zip (fxp216)
install Gapps
wipe data / factory reset again
restart

Como te va, tenes idea si se podria cambiar la camara por algo tipo Cyber shot pero para JB logicamente no ?....oh.....tener la opcion de grabar las fotos en la External SD (MICROSD)
Despues creo que lo demas va bien
Me olvidaba tengo un ACRO S

The new applications that I install cannot create new directories or save files at the internal SD card of my S4 Mini i9190.
Line, Compass, Facebook, Camera, Chrome... they cannot save pictures or files at the internal SD card.
I have installed the following SD card test applications:
- A1 SD Bench
- SD card Tester
- SD Tools
None of them can access the internal SD card.
I have made a hard reset of the phone but the problem is still there.
Any recommendation?

That is only happening with the New Applications.
The applications that came installed with the phone can access the Internal SD card with no problem.
eg: "My Files" (the pre-installed file explorer) can create new directories or write files at the Internal Storage, but ES File Explorer or other downloaded applications can not.
I do not have anti-virus or firewall programs. That happens even after a fresh hard-reset.
I have been at the official SAMSUNG Service Center in Bangkok (MBK Center)
They said that the solution is that the seller re-installs the firmware at the phone. I was very disappointed about that! I cannot understand why the Official Samsung Service cannot solve the problem.
So I went to the shop where I bought it, but it was closed today.
I cannot go back to Bangkok until next month.
Anyone know where can I find that firmware and how to download it myself?

Problem solved: I've found the original Samsung firmware and downloaded with Odin.
Hola, no se mucho ingles, pero, por lo que veo, las aplicaciones como es explorer no dejan escribir en la memoria interna, llevo 3 días con mi S4 mini y quiero poder solucionarlo. Veo de igual manera que actualizando el Firmware ¿ya podre utilizar es file explorer o cualquier otra aplicación que escriba en la memoria interna sin ninún problema?

Hola buenas.
El problema con mi S4 mini comenzó desde el momento en que intenté hacerle un ROOT siguiendo las instrucciones de aquí:
[RECOVERY][ROOT] Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini 3G (GT-I9190)
No sé por qué motivo, el móvil no quedó ruteado con éxito, y a partir de ese momento es cuando las aplicaciones dejaron de escribir en la memoria interna.
Estoy casi seguro de que si descargas el firmware original el problema se solucionara, ya que te dejará el móvil como recién salido de fábrica. A mi me ha dejado todo perfecto. Lo puedes encontrar aquí: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9195&details=Galaxy_S_4_Mini_LTE

- The problem started after I tried to root. The phone was not successfully rooted, and applications could not write on internal memory anymore.
- Problem solved after loading original firmware.

hola, soy nuevo en el foro, mediante este foro encontre unos archivos para poder flashear mi dispositivo HTC ONE M8, logre quitar el bootloader, y luego flashee el TWRP y despues pase a ser usuario root, pero una vez hecho todo eso, encendi mi dispositivo y al conectar a la pc solo reconoce la tarjeta externa SD, y el almacenamiento de telefono no puedo mover ningun archivo, ayudenme por favor.
Need more info. Do fastboot getvar all, and post the results (delete IMEI and serial number before posting).
Also, what version TWRP?
You may just have corrupted internal storage. Go to TWRP Wipe section, and tap the button "Format data". If the internal storage is corrupt, the Format Data option will usually fix it. But somewhat obvious, you will lose all personal data on the phone.

Can I use a OTG pendrive to install ROM as it were an internal MicroSD card?, I mean, connecting the OTG pendrive just for installs. I know that TWRP recognizes the OTG, but, is it the same way as a SD card?

Hello, if it is the same, you just have to mount the USB in twrp and from there you already have access to the ROMs that you have in your usb to install them
Hola si es lo mismo solo tienes que montar el USB en twrp y desde ahí ya tienes acceso a las ROM que tienes en tu usb para instalarlos
Thanks for your fast reply. Thas's the answer that I was waiting for. It's so much easy installing roms via OTG, and not from fastboot, since Xiaomi dropped MicroSD support.

Yes you can. It's just like installing from a MicroSD Card.
