WiFi calling apps.. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I currently have groove IP lite but I was wondering if there is an app that let's me call someone and it still shows my number instead of their servers number

when using groove ip ...it needs Google voice to work. You can set up Google voice to use your # instead of Google server # assigned to you

Do I need the paid version of groove? I have google voice set up also buy maybe there's an option somewhere I'm missing. In voice it gave me the option of only using it for I international calls

I recommend you get a VPN subscription. I use a VPN to connect to Netflix to make it think I am in the USA in order to access all the videos there. Works perfectly.
It's not free but worth every penny to me. I recommend www.privatvpn.se
Thanks man,its working.i got a free vpn app from google play and it work

Google voice call log

I have both an S4 and Note 2. The note 2 doesn't display the Google voice mrage icon from the call log like the S4 does . This is supposed to be a standard feature of Google Voice. Anyone using GV that can help.?

Click to collapse
Could it be due to the fact that the Note 2 is on 4.1.2 and the S4 is on 4.2.2? TouchWiz 4.2.2 has some minor visual differences from 4.1.2.
Google voice with call lodging message should work with 4.0

[APP Q] SMS via tethering from wifi Nexus

I think the subject says it all.
For example, if I tether my Nexus 7 wifi to my Galaxy S3 to get cellular data, is there an app that I can then text from my Nexus to send texts over the cellular network?
Think I have found what I am looking for with Mighty Text from the Play store.
Many people have been using that, though if you use google voice paired with your phone number, you can send texts via wifi. Though voice doesn't support mms.
Mighty text works great. It even shows the battery level of the phone.

@DrakeSlayer: its just for SMS texting...If you want something that can control whatsapp, look on apps like airdroid.

I just pay my carrier, Rogers, $15/month and get unlimited sms. In fact, I got ridof my phone and use tablet only.

Use dinamotxt. It syncs over Google+ with your phone and will let you use the WiFi version as a texting device. Works well

If your with rogers also with your cell phone there is a free service that comes with your plan called rogers one number allowing you to make calls and send texts through any tablet or computer and it uses your actual cell number. The app is on the play store

Search Market for Tablet SMS

I use "Mighty text" check it out on the play store. It uses your regular cell # no need anything else like some other apps i looked at.

Any way to change you voice during a live call? I've seen some that use voip but you have to pay.
