Any luck finding one that works?
didnt they discontinue flash back in ics? i mean yea you can sideload it but it can only work for so long before it becomes outdated and unuseable. and it seems the that time is now.
only thing i can think of is finding an older version of samsungs browser that works with flash

The pre-loaded browser on the S4 is supposed to support flash.

It doesn't work with the stock browser on the int'l version. Use a different browser.
get the latest app from the adobe site, and use boat browser, make sure you change UAG to Desktop and you allow the flash player to run in the browser settings! have a good day.

Seen as Adobe Flash Player has now been removed from the Play Store I thought I'd make my first post and UL the last version of it (or near enough). Works on Jellybean and ICS.
I have a little bit newer version 11.1.115.11

There usually isn't a big difference unless the main version is changed. This is still 11.1.115. I wouldn't be near excited unless it was 11.2 or 12. But alas, enjoy ~
Just installed the xxxx.12 version and my flash settings now work properly on MoDaCo jr2
Squirted from my JellyNex!
Wondeful, i gave my thanks

Stock browser. The one that opens when you go to "Browser" in your app drawer.

You are SO my freaking hero!!
I've been struggling for two days trying to get flash to work in any browser that might work. An article I read said the best source was from adobe's web site. I tried two of their latest versions and I've been stumped on both my Xoom and my Samsung Galaxy S3.
I uninstalled and installed your version and Whallah!! It works. I couldn't be happier.
Thanks so much for taking time to post that.

since i cant ask in the dev forum yet, i am asking it here. i've gone through all the steps from this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569816 , and the script ran fine in super user mode with no errors, but i cant seem to get this working in Dolphin Browser (Desktop Mode). I am running rooted stock Gingerbread 2.3.6 with flash v. 11111116. every time i click on a clip, all i see is it being highlighted green that says "now playing". any higher versions of flash and the script will error out. not sure what else i can try, or if anyone has gotten it working on their Galaxy S II.

right, that's because there is not thread on it in the SGSII forum. they do have a compatibility list in the link, ya know. Its not just for the Iconia.

I actually tried three browsers. Xscope, Dolphin and stock that came with Gingerbread. no luck. it just highlights the picture of the video and says "playing video" in the green border, but no video pops up or plays.
Stupid question but you have flash installed, right?

Thanks! It worked. I had tried the other method of just installing flash but for some reason I couldnt get it working on any of the browers.
Maybe some browser has different compatibility.
They do. Chrome doesn't support it. Firefox, Maxthon, AOSP, and Stock do.

I have the Virgin Mobile 816 and wondered what, if any ROMs are available. I'm new to the phone and don't want to mess it up lol. Already rooted
http://bit.ly/1yS8j48
As I said, I don't want to mess up the phone by trying to install a ROM that isn't working with the Virgin Mobile variant. I'll just stay stock

I did get CM11 up and running. Works great. Going to attempt CM12 soon but need to figure out the recovery thing

As far as i know 9.6.12.0 has ARB and if you flash it you will brick your phone if you flash global 9.6.6.0 over it because 9.6.6.0 dosn't have ARB
Perfect, thank you guys!
Yes, I already am on an ARB rom, so in order to go backwards I have to follow the guide which has me putting on 9.6.12.0 first and then doing some special tricks so I don't trip ARB while going backwards.
Just trying different options to get a working phone here, nothing I have flashed yet has the 2 things I need working (Android Auto and Video Chat)
That Fastboot link on that pages keep timing out, I can never download it. Strange...

Use advanced download manager from the playstore (best download manager for Android) - it captures it without issue.

I'm doing it right from my computer on hard wired internet. I think it might be just an issue with the source.
I was able to pull down the Recovery version, so I think that should work as well.

I hate Chrome with a passion. Biggest resource hog to date. Unless, they've really updated it.

My machines have plenty of resources available and i'm also not the type of person that has 10+ tabs open at once. It has always worked well for me, until now
But yes, recent updates have addressed resource issues if that's a problem for you.

Haha, same here, brother. I've used Firefox forever without issues. If it's not broken, why fix it. I feel you. :highfive:
