(REQUEST) HELP With LMT PIE Scripts and Apps - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

First off I want to add my phone dialer to one of the apps, and whilst it let's me, when I select it in my pie the phone doesn't open... In fact nothing happens.
Secondly I would like to add a script that reboots into recovery, but I don't have the first clue on how to write a script let alone implement it into pie.
Thirdly, I have pasted dozens of color schemes into rbg option and I can't get the color to change at all. I've updated the app to the latest and have tried restarting the service afterward, but all I can do is cycle through the few available colors and although this has been asked in a dozen threads and answered a dozen times, none of those answers work for me.
I've been googling, reading, and watching videos for hours and I can't crack these 3 things.
If you know the answers to any of these please let me know... Also, if you have come up with some other nifty scripts or activities please post them here.
Thanks in advance!

Everything you're asking is achievable with Tasker/Secure Settings and most any other 3rd party software that reboot into recovery (ROM Toolbox, etc). Both Tasker and LMT use "Activity" intents, furthermore LMT can link to Tasker Tasks - these are VERY POWERFUL tools you should look into.
As far as the Pie Colors there are few things you should know:
1. All 6 color codes, separated by comas, in the specific form generated by LMT (i.e. #ff000000 - pure black or #ffffffff - pure white) are required. In other words your complete code should be a sequence of 6 codes separated by comas (no spaces).
2. The codes are explained in settings, on the Pie Colors button itself: 1=base color (the one close to your thumb), 2=selection color, 3=icon colors, 4=outline of the base color (small, inner side of the pie), 5=Gradient (or second) color (the color at the outside, larger portion of of the pie), 6=Outline color of the gradient color.
3. If these 2 rules are understood, keep generating codes (colors/transparency) by using the sliders and then click "Click to add color" button until you have a sequence of 6 such generated codes.
Generally, if you mess up the code (unnecessary spaces, wrong/nonexistent code) the pie will go back to a default color.
If I helped, click THANKS

Yeah I think I got the color down pretty good, just takes a thousand tries.
As far as the LMT activities and scripts, that [email protected] might as well be in Spanish. I bought Tasker a few months back and never figured that thing out. The plain truth is even when I apply myself I'm not very smart, so I was hoping that someone has already figured some of this crap out and I could just piggy back their brilliance.

Hey guys,
I'd like to use LMT Pie, but I can't figure out how to hide/remove the navbar (the navbar sucks for me cause I'm left handed, and it's too hard to reach my most used button: back)
Please don't suggest paid apps, I'm unable to buy them, I'd prefer a manual tweak, flashable zip or any free apk.
Thanks in advance!
Kenzo.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "hiding" or "removing" the navbar - at least in the case of a Samsung phone, the navbar (menu/home/back) buttons are all part of the hardware - otherwise called hard buttons - and obviously there is NOTHING you can do to "hide" or "remove" them, however, there are ways to disable them. I haven't tried it but here is a guide on the S3 (it should be working on the Note2 as well) that shows you how to disable them. In order to be able to do this you need to be rooted and you also need a root file explorer - but personally I wouldn't be going this route since you can still configure/use the LMT without messing around with the hard buttons. If, on the other hand you use a phone other than Samsung, then you're in the wrong section...
As far as the LMT is concerned, of course you can set the activation-area-position on the left-hand side and configure one of the buttons as the back button - regardless of the existing navbar hard buttons. Hope this helps.

Omg sorry, my bad! I didn't even notice I was on S2 forums, a link brought me here from Sony Xperia SP forums xD (it has an on-sceeen navbar)
Sorry for the miss-post, and thanks for the reply

[Q] Blu Kuban 1.0.4.2, some assorted things

So I finally scratched the itch and installed Blu Kuban last night. Thanks to various people on XDA, the install went smoothly. No moments of panic or anything. I really like how fast it feels, and the levels of customization. Not to mention, Sprint really pissed me off with their handling of our device, so I like having some power now with my phone.
I do have a few questions/observations. I'm new to the board (as a poster), so I know I can't post in Dev, so I hope this is all right and proper.
1. I looked through the various ROM options last night, and I could swear I saw some mods for switching/removing some of the toggles on top of the notification window. There's a few I don't really need. But I'm having trouble finding the option that I thought I saw last night. I went through the various update categories numerous times, and I can't find them now. If this exists, can someone point me in the right direction?
2. Speaking of options, is there one for splitting the ring/notification volume? This was something that wasn't working for me on the Oneclick I previously used, and apparently it is an ICS thing. I don't know if there's a solution for this in the ROM.
3. Timeriffic is giving me a slight display issue, and I don't know if it's an app thing or a ROM thing. When I tap on a rule to bring up its settings, the buttons for each option is dark, and I can't see what it is. The clock on the top of that window also looks different than it did previously (I used an sfhub Oneclick of ICS). I really should look around their site and see if this is an app issue, but I'm minutes away from leaving work for the day.
4. I know there's a mod to change the second shortcut on the lockscreen, to launch the dialer or text, or something. Is there an option to add more?
I've had a few isolated problems with FC's. Namely, if I tap+hold on the data toggle in the notification window, I freeze and eventually System UI force closes and reboots, sans my battery icon. Just now I had a random FC on the ROM Updater when I went to look at the boot animation mods.
Regardless though, thank you RUJELUS22 for the time and effort put into this ROM. I look forward to using it more and learning a lot along the way.

Welcome to the rom it is pretty nice and to answer your questions
1: It's in "Labs".. Scroll towards the bottom of the rom updater options to see it
2: if I'm correct I think you mean the notification while on the phone.. That can be found in "general mods" in the rom updater.. It's called "in call sms notification'
3: I don't use traffic light so apologies to not knowing that answer
4: at the moment there is no option to add more.. May be something you could request though... (widget locker works good if you want more short cuts)
5: that is a known bug.. So you can long press all the other toggles but that one.. And yeah sometimes the rom update does hang but it's from usually using it with bad signal connection.. Best to use on WiFi... But when it does hang u should be able to back out of it or hold the home button get into task manage and close it

1. Settings, display, quick panel.
2. Settings, sound, volume
3.when you are able to post in dev, post the name of the apps you have dark text issues on and rujelus will take a look at patching it in the next release.
4. At this time, no. You could use go locker in the play store.
Also the long press data toggle fc is a known issue. Should be resolved shortly.
I think Miguel may have misunderstood some of your questions.

Yeah I thought you may have read too quickly. I had to look a few times myself to make sure. Usually your replies are spot on. Been known to do the same myself. NP
Thanks to both of you. Funny I spent all that time looking at the ROM Updater for the toggle settings, when it was in the stock settings.
The Timeriffic/sound issue I'm referring to is how ICS deals with the volume level for the ringer, vs. how it does the volume for notifications. My notifications have been coming out louder than my ringtones, and I'd like to level them. Especially since I get more texts than calls, and I don't want to mute my phone at work (hey, if no one else does, why should I!). As for the color issue there, I'll wait until I can post in that thread and I'll ask, but I'll also take some time to look around on Timeriffic's site. I had a similar issue with another program running one of the Oneclicks, so I wonder if it's an ICS issue, or the way some of those apps were compiled.

Well there are seperate volume controls for ringers and notifications in the sound volume menu.

My experiences and quandaries with lower pixel density settings

Hi peeps,
I expect to get flamed for posting a repeat thread, for not fully searching the forums before posting, etc etc,
So instead of asking anything specific I'm just gonna share my experience so far with my Sprint Galaxy Note 2 and if any of you have any helpful tips for the issues I'm encountering, fire away.
I have searched for a few weeks now, and what I'm about to describe is where I'm at AFTER lots of experimenting and searching both this and other forums as well as plain old google web searches.
I researched devices before buying for something with enough processing power and RAM to replace my ASUS netbook, which, though small, wouldn't fit on my bike handlebars and was all around too bulky for outdoor adventures. Offline GPS app use, bike computer apps, taking videos in its handlebar mount as I rolled down the highway, etc, etc. I also fancied the idea of connecting it to the (usually 1080 16:9) TVs found in the hotel rooms across the country, most of which these days have an HDMI port on them. Also in my plans is to hack together some kind of case with a mini bluetooth keyboard in it.
I use Photoshop all the time on my Windows machines so I wanted something that would run Photoshop Touch. I downloaded PS Touch from the Amazon app store (paid for it legally) since Google Play wouldn't let me download it. I knew it was't officially supported before purchasing.
Then I set about hacking into things to get more content, icons, menus visible on the screen and tried to get PS Touch to display properly.
First I rooted the phone, installed super user, etc. Left the stock ROM on there. Then I modified the Build.prop for 180 pixel density, and voila, Photoshop Touch worked great, the full menus were visible. But a host of other problems presented themselves.
Some of the UI elements scaled to the display fine. 3rd party apps ALL look fine. They all scale correctly. The most obvious issue was that the home pages were still showing the same amount of icons, the grid count was the same, but all the icons where in the middle of the screen with lots of space around them. I noticed that the clock on the lockscreen was now in the upper left corner, and that Chrome was now showing (desktop/tablet style) tabs at the top. So I realized that some aspects of the UI and certain apps were coded to display different depending on the pixel density.
I'm wondering where in the APK's manifest.xml (or elsewhere) this is specified.
To get things looking better on the home screens and to enable landscape homescreens, I installed Nova Launcher, and I prefer it over the stock launcher. It's a more desktop like environment. I figured I could set up a homescreen page with lots of big widgets on it for fumbling with it on the go (making things big and easy to touch like with a 320 pixel density setting), and then I could have a bunch of icons on another homescreen page for the "desktop" style view when close to my face or connected to an external display.
All of this was fine except several of the widgets not longer worked, or didn't even show up in the widget list anymore. My list of issues follows:
- The multi-window app-chooser bar scales correctly when it's at the top or bottom of the screen, but does not completely span the display when on either side of the screen (in portrait OR landscape mode).
- The multi-window separator bar (between the 2 displayed apps) does not span the entire display, though it works otherwise
- In the stock e-mail app, landscape view works fine, but portrait view of the messages list and of the emails themselves is cropped to only the left side of the display, with blank space on the right.
- The drop-down notification drawer is the same number of pixels as it used to be (I believe) and therefore no longer scales to the entire display. In landscape mode, it's not only too small, but off-center as well. This is something I haven't been able to hack, there doesn't seem to be any notification drawer replacement apps.
- The alarm clock app (which honestly I liked better than any thrid party ones) stopped working completely. When I tap the Clock icon in the apps drawer, it starts up but only displays a black screen and then I get the error message that Clock has stopped. Bummer.
- The numeric keypad for the stock dialer app is up in the middle of the screen (vertically) and at the left edge.
- The UI elements, buttons, etc on the camera app don't scale, leaving buttons floating off of the gray background strips and over the top of the image viewfinder area. I prefer the interface of Camera JB+ anyway, which works great. But you can't use Camera JB+ with the stock messaging app if you wanna snap a quick pic to attach to a message. Unless you take the pic with Camera JB+, then go to messaging, then attach it from the stock gallery app. This leads me to one of my biggest questions. I'm sure it's been covered, but I don't know the terminology and numerous searches have yielded no answers...if someone just tell me what it's called, I'll do my best to search for it myself...I wanna know how to tell one app to allow me to use another app to import content What I mean is when, for instance, I go to attach a pic to a message, a list of sources comes up, gallery, camera, etc. But certain apps are't on that list...only the stock camera shows up, only the stock gallery app...sometimes this isn't the case...when I am in the stock contacts app, and I go to add a photo to a contact...it lets me choose from the various camera and gallery apps I have installed...when I click on the little button to message the contact, it lets me choose Handcent, etc...but the messaging app and the lockscreen wallpaper chooser in the settings menu don't let me choose images from anything but the stock gallery app, wheras the homescreen wallpaper can be chosen from any of my gallery apps. I want to know where to hack in and change this to "link" or "associate" the apps. Or at least I wanna know what this type of link between apps is called so I can search for it myself.
- The stock weather widget is just plan missing now. Don't know where it went. I liked it better than any of the ones I've downloaded.
I'm also noticing decreased battery life...not sure why, as I have a bunch of bloat apps removed and I'm running the same ROM. Maybe that's in my head.
So I'm looking at installing a custom ROM...but not sure where to start...I have searched and read about a bunch of ROMs for the Note 2. But nowhere did I see anything about how well the ROM's UI elements and included apps would scale to a 180 pixel density display...
I'd like a ROM that works well with my display settings, includes options for the number of icons on the home screen, where all the included apps see each other, and where I can ad any program to the multi-window list without hacking into each and every APK to enable it (I know there's really no way to do that, but perhaps an included feature to help you through the process without using a PC would be cool). I want everything deodexed so backups and restores are easy (I backed up a bunch of system apps and uninstalled them, creating a backup from ES File Explorer, AND saving the APK and ODEX files...but was unable to re-install them...).
Anybody have a good suggestion for a ROM that works well with different pixel settings?

I think you would REALLY benefit from installing the XPOSED app mod. Essentially, it changes the DPI value, but instead of changing the DPI for EVERY app, it only changes the dpi for the app you select.
so assuming you start from the normal 320 dpi, you can then assign Photoshop touch to run at 180 dpi, therefore ONLY affecting that app and leaving everything else the same.

AWESOME tool to know about, thanks. That sounds like it would do what I need...though I'd still like more/smaller icons on the home screen....Which I think you can do at stock pixel density with Nova Launcher paid version...
Researching XPOSED now...some people complain about longer phone startup...is it the kind of thing where you can use the app to modify the APK, then uninstall the app? I'm gonna find out...THANKS.
There is also a thread in the app/theme section regarding resized stock apps. The dialer, camera, keyboard etc were are scaled to a lower dpi. That might help some of your issues

I appreciate y'all takin the time to help me with this, Helps me out a lot......I have one question about android and scaling of graphics in general...The notification drop-down drawer...is that technically an "app"? Like is it one of the services, or hidden system apps or something...or is that "part of the frame work" and not skinable or changeable without changing ROMs? because I'm wondering how to scale that...but also just so I understand the OS better, what is that status drawer part of? Cause it's obviously not part of the launcher...
I'm about to try all these things out...thanks.
For email, pull the note 10.1 email apk and exchange apk from a 10.1 rom and put it in system/app reboot and enjoy!
That and as mentioned...xposed app is full of win. I personally use go launcher or apex launcher to fix the whole launcher issue.
The drop down is customizable. .you may really benefit from spending an hour or so reading through the themes and apps section

Its part of systemui.apk which includes the status bar, notification pull down, etc
I like to break stuff!
Android ui is the lock screen and context menus btw.
System ui for task bar.
Xposed is awesome for low dpi settings

Dudes....thanks a ton. I got all of that up and running. I'm able to set it up just as I want and with the tip about which app controls the context menus, that answered my next question. Totally tweakable. My only issue is that the stock dialer and stock contacts are really within the same app...I wanted to keep the dialer at default dpi and scale the contacts to be smaller....I'm guessing that's what a "shared package" is....which isn't supported yet....but I'll try that 240 dpi version mention above and see how that works.

[OOS][LAYERS] Share your setup !

Hi all,
as you all (maybe not ?) know, Oxygen OS is partially compatible with RRO Layers, so you can take your chance, install the Layers Manager App and try some of them.
But, if you're as (un)lucky as me, you'll end up most of the time either in a bootlop (in this case, reboot in TWRP, mount system,
then go to advanced menu, file manager and go to system/vendor/overlays and delete all (or only faulty one if you know which one is,
most of the time framework, or systemui) apks.
So, i've spent many (MANY) hours searching, trying, bootlooping, TWRPing, again and again in order to get a dark and lovely theme without bugging with the power menu,
or blinding white notifications... or dark notifications but white settings.... :silly:
And although i was close to give up, i finally managed to get exactly what i wanted, but i had to mix 3 different layers to get it working.
So i'll share my setup here.
I needed 3 layers,
the first one is from Spannaa, and called Simple Blue Layers Theme (please do not go there to complain about anything, this theme is designed to work on OP2, and not OPX, thanks.)
the second one is Domination Layers Theme and is optional, i only used it for playstore and contacts, but that's a matter of taste. Credits go to @daveyannihilation
And the last one is called Oxygen Layers Theme.
And this is the kind of bad part, it's a paid theme... but that's the only layer i found that isn't causing a bug with framework (you can't hold power to get power menu, it results in a soft reboot).
So, if you ask me, it's worth 1,32€ (and no, i'm not the author nor a friend of him).
But if you find one free, and working, share it :highfive:
The last two screenshots are what i installed, but there a different choices you can make, for example with Simple Blue, you can choose single or double column for settings page.
You can also choose the icons' style (thin in my screenshot).
Here are my details: listed installed layers for each theme
OxygenOS:
Accent: Blue Steel 4
Framework: Lollipop Dark Background
Status Color: AccentColor
Under Style specific Overlays, choose DarkBackground
Dialer
Google Messenger
Layers Manager
Phone
Simple Blue:
SystemUI
Settings two columns (but you can choose one if you prefer, of course)
Under Style Specific Overlays, choose Thin if you want same as me, but you can try the other choices, like i said before.
Settings Icon
SystemUI Icons
Domination:
Contacts
Package Installer
Playstore
I forgot to mention that i'm using Dark theme from under OOS settings, i don't know the exact term, maybe customization ? (personnalisation in french) and not switching to dark mode would probably result in troubles, so first, apply dark mode, then install layers.
And keep Default accent colors too.
With this you should get exactly what you see in the screenshots.
Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to share your (working) layers
Once again, please do not go to Spannaa's thread to complain, or looking for help, but you're more than welcome to thank @Spannaa for his work and share.
Tip: Just don't apply theme to "Frameworks" in layers and every layers theme will work fine.
Regards.

Well I meant to say "every layer will work", didn't say it will be bug-free lol.
Regards.
Just a quick question (may be OT): How do you rearrange your settings like that? (Screenshot 2) It's more a table than the usual list, looks good.

It's a feature of Simple Blue Theme, you have the choice of single column (classic like stock) or two columns, like on my screenshot:
You need to choose the appropriate setting in the dropdown menu for "settings".
Thanks for the answer.
So not applicable to other ROMs or themes

Since recompiling my apk didn't work, I achieved it by making a small xposed module that essentially does the same (plus it has the benefit of surviving updates etc).
Decompiling and editing worked perfectly fine but while recompiling it just got stuck. I tested it on two different machines and OS's, same result. No errors, just stuck.
I'm gonna try and adjust the text size a little bit since some of the entries are being cut off. Maybe after that I'll release it, if someone's interested.
TL;DR: Thank you, it worked.

Did you install the framework(s) before decompiling and try different versions of apktool?
The Xposed route is fine if you use it - I don't, that's why I added the mod to my settings overlay.
A good alternative to an Xposed module would be an overlay with a low priority that just changes settings to two columns.

Yes I did, I tried various combinations, nothing worked.
According to the verbose output (-v) it gets stuck after packing a random amount of drawables.

Strange, although these OnePlus Roms do have issues with some apks.
My second framework decompiles OK but even if I change nothing, it won't compile again as some resources aren't present.
Xposed module it is then...

Actually I'm on CM 12.1, so I don't know what's happening there.
FYI, Blue is the most power-consumming color in oled screens. If ya wanna maximize your battery life, use black and red layers/themes.

Green pixels are smaller than red ones so they still consume a bit more. But at equal size, green pixels are actually the most power efficient.

newbe question regarding level of customization with no rooted phone

If i do not root the telephone, can I use personalized widgets and themes?
Sorry for the quite trivial question but I do not have Samsung experience

Absolutely! That's the great thing about Android. You can even choose to go with something completely different than Samsung's launcher. There's lots of different launchers that support themes. Nova and Apex are two popular options. Themes are also available for Samsung.
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk
1. Launcher and theme as mention above.
2. Ads free by Adguard on Play Store.
3. Disable almost apps anf module you want by EZ Disable Package or Package Disable Pro
4. Change dpi by Content Scaling or some commands through adb

I prefer not to root or tinker with my primary business phone because I don't want to have something not work as intended and miss a call or appointment.
The level of customization you can do with launchers and themes these days is almost on par with what you can achieve with a rooted device.
In addition to themes you can also download and install custom icon packs to customize the look of all of your icons.
For widgets you can get something like the Beautiful Widgets app that lets you customize various widgets for the device. It is very popular for people who like the HTC type clock widget look on their home screens.
Just do some searches on the play store for themes, icon packs, widgets, keyboards, etc and there are enough customization options to make your head spin.
For Home screens / App drawer / Folder, any Launcher will do. My all time fav, and most reliable recommendation is easily Nova Launcher.
- Nova lets you customize the font size, label colours, icon sizes, icon packs, homescreen grid, app drawer grid, homescreen gestures and so much more.
For custom button remapping, Button Remapper works perfectly without root. It will let you set custom actions for your physical buttons (swap the recent/back if you wish, or add hold functionality)
- The app is a bit limited without root in regards to added functionality, but its something!
- I believe the non-rooted version also allows you to map volume keys to add Music skip / pause functionality. (Correct me if im wrong!)
For global app / service disabling, definitely use Package Disabler Pro. It has a built in list of (currently) 97 apps considered unneeded, and gives you full control of every app.
- This has been proven to save battery btw!
For added Toggles in the Notification panel (not QuickPanel) there are hundreds of working apps that add their own little notification bar, fully interactive, that shows up as a notification card.
- It may seem a bit redundant considering Samsung's built in QuickPanel does mostly everything, but for a few things that may be missing (ie. Hotspot, Mobile Data, or specific functions like opening apps, setting gps/data to specific modes etc).
For ad blocking, you can use AdGuard. I havent personally tried this app, but it is highly recommended by most users in this forum.
For button backlight disabling / modding, you can use Button Backlight 2.
- It allows you to turn off button backlight completely, add a custom time, or have them on all the time
Android is so vastly open, even without root, if you ever feel like you are missing a certain function / feature, theres a very high chance that a solution would have been made long ago.
It never hurts to google what you wish to do. When I first got my Note 5 for example, the first phone with button backlights, I wanted to turn them off completely as well as swap the layout of them from recents home back, to back home recents. A few minutes later and I found myself using the two apps mentioned above, and a happy camper!
well it looks like I am really grateful to samsung to give me the possibilities under the hood. My dev friends scared me in every way saying that touch wiz is bloatware, that people think is really taking the control of the system, instead I found it effective, and most important of all I am happy samsung is not taking coltan from congolese mines.
I am also really grateful to you.
which tutorial do you recommend me to customize my themes? if there is an app, Gui super, otherwise I am also an android developer, so do not mind also to write some java/xml. Also i guess there is some design involved, which software should i use photoshop or gimp? Last but not least, as I use to test my apps, installing a lot of themes will decrease the perform, or the fact that is run one per time will not affect performance? thank you guys. Customization is everything for me, as bosters creativity and make the day more exciting
EDIT: I am wondering if downloading themes is safe in terms of malicious code.

Any method to change the default 'Blue' colour throughout the entire phone?

Is there a way to change the 'Blue' colour default theme to other colour without installing any theme? Cos I want to maintain everything as default but only the colour changed.

Yes, you can do it with a theme from the samsung theme store or you can use substratum on an unrooted Note 20 Ultra. How to use substratum has checnged from the first post but toward the end of the thread are the new procedures.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/substratum/official-starting-substratum-andromeda-t3798316
Here's one example of substratum.

Substratum looks sweet. Gonna have to check that out.

Hex Installer allows you to keep the Samsung theme but change the UI element colors. You can even fine tune the background colors. No root needed and no wonky Substratum setup.

The app is Hex installer.

By default it's already using a Samsung theme!
Changing the Samsung theme is reversible and causing no performance impact (except live wallpapers and such).
>Many themes* to chose from, I recommend one of high contrast themes.
>Choose the homescreen wallpaper you want.
>Then chose from one of the hundreds of free icon packs on the Glaxy Store.
*use themes to get the keyboard, phone dialer, messages theme etc that you like best. As per above the rest are interchangeable.
That's the trick and the fix. It's time consuming but works well.

I just changed mine from "Default" to "Purple", just to make it really pronounced - could not find a single thing on the phone that had changed to "Purple"? I even rebooted just for laughs - still nothing, settings menus, it says "accent color" so I have no idea what that could even mean? I did spend about 30 minutes digging around the phone checking all kinds of stuff to make sure I didn't miss anything - finally put it back to "Default"!

Interesting
Samsung and/or the carrier may have disabled it.
Or it was an experimental beta feature.
Developer Options is fun... in Pie I have some that seem to do nothing that are indexed under "Feature Flags", an experimental feature.

What changes when you change the theme color? When does it change (after restart? Immediate?)?

This dev settings option is from stock Android and was originally the only way of changing accent colours on devices running stock before Google added its own theming option later. It has nothing to do with the way Samsung implements theming and accent colours in One Ui, and for that reason does not work on Samsung devices.
The only thing that the developer option did on my side, was to change the background colour of default system icons that got no icon.
Here are two examples : one black and the other cinnamon.
Why dont you try the following apps developed for Samsung and you found them in Galaxy store:
Good lock has a bunch of modules to create your unique theme
When you use Theme Park module to create a new them make sure you tap on the top right corner on the sun icon to choose the dark mode. Basically when you create a new them you can create one for light mode(sun icon) and another for dark mode(moon icon) in one package as one them.
If you dont like the quickpanel you can change the colour scheme on your like using Quick Star module
Keyboard you can make a new theme using Theme Park (Keyboard section) ,the possibilities are endless ,make sure again you tap on sun icon to select dark mode for keyboard ?
Then use Keys Cafe module, submenu "style your own keyboard " to add key/motion effect when typing
If you want to go even further, then you can create your very own keyboard ,customised the location of the keys and add functions to them
Check attachments and YouTube link of the theme keyboard
